  Got another driver, I need to use the system recovery.

  Have the former driver of the year 2006 by microsoft, need of the driver for the AMD processor by AMD. Looked around, but couldn't find and forget to go to the Device Manager to update the processor it says its uptodate lol that's also not true.

  To the best of my knowledge AMD does not provide a driver of processor for consumers. AMD provides the driver to Microsoft for use in the Windows operating system. The only driver AMD lists for your APU (CPU/GPU) is the graphic driver. If you have not successfully updated for SP1 Win7 yet, I suggest you do before installing other software/drivers.

  Go to Device Manager > processors > (double-click on a processor) > driver > Driver Details [this is XP, should be the same or close for Win7]. Under Details of the file driver as a driver "C:\windows\system32\drivers\intelppm.sys" file (it is an Intel CPU) should be listed. Below that should be a version of the file as ' 5.1.2600.2180 {xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803 - 2158} "(it is a XP SP2 install). If these items on your computer appears "amdppm.sys" (or something similar) for the driver and something like "6.1.7600.16385 {xxxxxxx}" for file version, your system is up-to-date. If you see something like "6.1.7601.xxxxx {xxxxxxx} for the version of the file, you are running Win7 SP1."

  In theory, it should work. However, HP generally does not support the "unlocked" processors and the A8 - 3870K is an unlocked CPU.

  The APU I haveno stretch in place s. This issue that you are facing, it's that the APU is integrated on the motherboard. It is not a half-bridge APU (name an AMD cpu).

  How to upgrade and what it takes to upgrade depends on what you want to do with your computer. As previously reported by @Blitzgaming, the SSD will best improve the overall computing experience. He will start faster and programs open faster; nothing better than an SSD. Don't resist the SSD. You need a width of 2.5-inch SATA SSD. SATA 2 or 3 makes no difference. You would find a SATA 2 on the market now, just so buy something current and are looking for a good sale. The processor chip is also the video card and an upgrade of your A6 to A10 would also mean improved video performance, HD 7520 to 7660. And AMD processors differently than Intels are not terrible expensive.
