Remove dw WLAN card utility wltrysvc.exe because it corrupts

I am trying to remove the DW WLAN Card utility, but I'm unable to do so. Add/Remove Programs gives me error message c:\build\BASS_REL_5_60_18_44\win_external_wl\src\tools\install\app\bcmwls\Update.cpp 1115. I want him to remove because I believe that a corrupted file c:\WINDOWS\System32\wltrysvc.exe is located in this program in my computer. Can anyone help? Thank you very much

  • Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility & Windows 7

    Hi all

Today, I got my Windows 7 upgrade disks and when I jumped into the Windows 7 upgrade wizard disk, it scanned my system for incompatible software. Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility was the single item on the list. The message reads as follows:

"A compatible version of Windows 7 from this software is not available in the upgrade DVD. Download a compatible version of Windows 7 from this software from the vendor's web site.

I googled this and searched the Dell website and forums but have not seen anything on this subject. Everyone knows about this problem?

I am running 64 bit Vista Home Premium Edition on an Inspiron 1545 laptop.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

The Dell utility does not have that much (in terms of added features).  Consider to withdraw and let Windows 7 to manage the wireless connection.

  • Dell Inspiron 14R WLAN Card disabled

    Hello

I have a Dell Inspiron 14R running under Windows 7 64-bit. I had my PC from last November; about 7 months.

I was with my PC, and all of a sudden, I started having problems with wireless. I was unable to get on the internet. Other devices on my wireless network are able to connect to our network, but it is not relevant because my radio was not picking up anything at all, when he was still in the same place. The connection worked very well using an ethernet cable. After that is the problem, my Targus Bluetooth mouse also stopped working.  That's what I tried:

    1. Enter the Network Center and sharing, disabling my network card and then allowing him once again. This is usually the case. After having it more than 5 times, it never worked.
    2. Do a simple system restore. I tried to restore 3 different times for an update in the last week, each of them failed (probably another issue altogether).
    3. Re-install my NIC driver wireless and then restarting. This does not solve the problem.
    4. Check the Device Manager. He said that the wireless card worked properly.
    5. With the help of the DW WLAN CARD Utility. It says on the Link Status tab, after the State of the connection, Radio disabled. I tried right-clicking on the icon in my Notification area and then clicking turn on the transceiver. He then shows an alert saying that "the wireless network card is always disabled. Use the wireless switch or the hotkey to activate it. "By pressing Fn + F2, which is also supposed to allow the radio is nothing, without any action or whatever it is sign of Windows. I also tried to run tests under the Diagnostics tab. All the tests of transmitted material, with the connection test again for giving me this alert: "the wireless network card is always disabled. Use the wireless switch or the keyboard shortcut to activate"and then failing. When you run the diagnostics of CCX Client is the same thing.

What should I do? The problem is obvious that my card is disabled, as all signs point to that. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could fix this? I have tried everything I know, not to mention countless Google searches.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Welcome to the community. On the Inspiron N4010, use the F2 key to activate wireless on or off. Use Windows Mobility Center in Control Panel to check the status of the wireless connection.

  • Satellite 2430-301: cannot use 2200BG WLan card because the switch is off

    Hello

I have a Satellite 2430-301, which was not delivered with WLAN functionality. But I discovered, that there is a MiniPCI slot in the laptop.

So, I bought an Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200BG Minipci card. After that I joined the card in the laptop, it has been detected by windows as a new network device. I downloaded and installed the drivers of Windows XP (because I have Windows XP installed on the laptop) of Intel (9.0.4.17) home page. The installation worked perfectly.

Now I tried to connect to a wireless network, but the software Intel says that the card is on 'off '. So I changed the menu drop-down on "on", which resulted in a mistake in German: "Die Intel (r) PRO/Wireless-Netzwerkverbindung ist noch deaktiviert.» Aktivieren Sie sie über your Hardware-switch. "(which means something like 'network Intel (r) PRO/Wireless connection is turned off. Turn it on with the hardware switch. »).

Although the switch was already in position "on", I spent several times - nothing important happened. The led next to the switch will not illuminate in both positions.

Are there problems of incompatibility between "Toshiba Satellite 2430 301" and "Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG?

    I did something wrong?

Is - this darn broken hardware switch?

    Any suggestions?

I would be really happy if someone could help me :)

    Thanks in advance,
    Thuriel

    Hello

The hardware switch led should light up if the switch is on.
In addition if you want to use the WiFi network you must go to the WLan with FN + F8 option.
In addition, you must check the WLan card properties in Device Manager. Here, you enter the Advanced tab. In the field of property choose radio power option and select the value to on.

  • HP Pavilion HPE h8-1111: Deffective WLAN Card

I've had a few confusing issues with my internet connection for a few weeks now:

My computer seems to detect wifi networks (they appear in the Network Manager), but fails to connect because of an unknown factor.

Basic troubleshooting informed me that wifi wasn't the issue (other devices could connect to) and it turns out that my computer could sometimes reconnect by mmee after a few hours (weird right?)

This time it does not resolve itself. I tried to update my WLAN card through my laptop adapter, so the drivers via a USB key. Nothing worked (maybe bad drivers?) I've tried a few)

My network card is a mini Broadcom 802.11n using magnetic antennas of the card. (youd cloth found in a laptop essentially...) I have little or no knowledge more than I could translate from the web on this kind of hard\software. I am at a loss.

  • WLAN card suddenly stops working - Satellite A65-S126

I have a satellite A65-S126 and one day I started it up and I couldn't get a wireless connection because my wireless adapter (Atheros AR5004G) network I troubleshooted it and it came "10-program Code cannot start". I uninstalled and reinstalled it, nothing happened that I got the same error.
Does anyone have any help for me?

    Hi Joe

According to the Microsoft page means that code 10 - cannot start the device (Wlan card). Who could appear if the driver is damaged or / and some registry entries has been modified.

I put t know how you reinstalled the driver but I would first remove the old driver and then delete the WLan card also of the device Device Manager.
Then shut down the laptop and after restarting again the operating system should recognize the new device (Wlan card) then you can start the driver installation.

    Maybe this will help you

  • Tecra M9 - where the WLan card

    Hi all.

Can someone tell me where the wireless card is located on the M9 series please.

I expected under the machine with a quick access panel, but apparently not.

Where is it and is it easy to get it please.

    Thank you.

    Hello

I guess the minPCI wireless network card is hidden somewhere under the keyboard.
You need to remove the keyboard first, if you want to get access to the Wlan card.

But I wouldn't remove the keyboard, because in the worst case, you could lose the warranty!

  • Satellite A100-847 - replacing a WLan card

    Hello

I have Toshiba Satellite A100-847. I would change as WIFI card for new with "n" standard.
I found some tutorials how to proceed, but it was for Toshiba A105, very similar to my only.

I opened the bottom cover where is memory and modem, but I couldn't see all the PCI ports.
    Is it possible to do?
Does work through mini-PCI or is integrated on the motherboard?

    Hello

The A100 PSAA9E supports a minPCI WLan card that supports the IEEE 802 standard. 11a / g WLan standards.
I m not 100% sure if it would be possible to upgrade the WiFi network with a WLan card 802.11 minPCI n because the two antenna cables.
You should first clarify if the antenna is compatible with the 802.11 standard new * WLan N standard *.

The minPCI wireless network card must be hidden under the keyboard. So you'd have to remove the keyboard first to get access to the wireless network card.
The wireless network card is also connected to two antenna cables. The cables must be removed carefully using a pair of tweezers. Then spread plugs securing the wireless LAN card until the card appears.

Usually it of not difficult to replace this WLan card but if you have no experience I wouldn t recommend doing this.
This replacement must be done by a qualified technician!
In addition you guarantee the validity could be cancelled after these updates.

  • New Intel 6300 Wlan card does not work in Satellite P850/49

    Hello

I recently installed a new wifi card on my laptop in order to give him a dual-band support.

However, while all goes well in terms of hardware and driver installation, the computer fails to actually use the wifi card and insists on the fact that the card is 'off', even if it is enabled in the Device Manager, the computer recognizes and the computer is not on the airplane mode.

There is no physical switch on the laptop or the card, the function key does nothing (except the conversion between flight mode and without work), and even diagnostics insist that I need to "activate the wireless feature.

    Help?

Not great if you want to be able to get this card.
In many cases new modules and hardware parts don t work because of compatibility issues. Even if the module supports the Mini PCI standard, this means that all card mini PCI Wlan would be compatible. It is a big misunderstanding.

However, I found some interesting tips on the page of Intel:
    http://www.Intel.com/support/wireless/WLAN/sb/CS-025332.htm

    What you could do is:
In Control Panel > network and Internet > network connections, right click on the adapter. Check if the adapter can be set to the it.

Alternatively, you can try to install the Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility
You can enable or disable the wireless radio in the Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility main window. The status icon on the main window displays the current state of the radio. In the main window, click on WiFi or WiFi turn off to enable or disable the radio.

In which case it wouldn't work, I guess that the laptop cannot turn on the wireless network card because of the allocation of the different pins.
For example, some mini-PCI WLan cards needs to hide the axis 20 (thin strip of electrical tape and it is stuck on the 20 PIN) in order to obtain this permit.
Google search for mini pcie pin 20 and you will find that you are not the only ones with this problem.

  • X 230 error 1802 with the Correct WLAN card

Recently, I ordered my brand new x 230 for the start of the University and selected the thought of WLAN card default option which would be sufficient for my needs. After the hand signal and dropouts, problems I decided to upgrade the WLAN card that would improve the signal strength.

I know the existence of the 'white list' frustrating that means that some cards are allowed to use. So, I went in the store of Lenovo and looked for what was the best WLAN card that might come with a new order of a 230-System x, as surely they are on the whitelist.

Later, I bought an Intel Centrino Ultimate - N 6300 card and installed correctly in my x 230. However, from the start I saw to my despair that the 1802 error was there, tells me my card has not been approved. Could someone explain how hell a card that can come already installed in x 230 is not did not whitelist checking?

Needless to say I am not very satisfied with Lenovo, because I can't even find a list of what cards are accepted. What is the point in a white list anyway? I am a student trying to patch BIOS to remove it, but no one has yet done a patch.

Why do I get an error 1802 with this card?
    Thank you.

    Hello and welcome,

Doesn't have that 6300 come from the store of Lenovo, or from a vendor who said it was for a Lenovo laptop?

The card type is not the whole story when comes to the white list.  In addition to the correct (6300) type by its PCI vendor and device ID, it must have an ID of subsystem of Lenovo.  (IIRC, it can be more precisely not the subsystem ID, but the effect is the same).  A generic 6300 will not work.

A card must be sold by Lenovo or pass the white list.  Reputable suppliers will provide a number of Lenovo FRU (CRU) to check the FRU list for the machine.

For example. Since the research database of Lenovo parts -> ThinkPad X 230page, the RUF for that 6300 is 60Y3233.  It was not easy to find.  The RUF are not in the hardware maintenance manual any more

If your card has a number of Lenovo FRU, something else is in place.

  • Satellite Pro U400 - 15 p hangs after enabling the Realtek RTL8187B WLan card

    Hello

I recently bought the Toshiba Satellite Pro u400 - 15 p. This notebook is originally without any operating system included. I installed Windows XP Home SP3 on it and downloaded all the drivers from the Web from Toshiba website. Everything works well except the WiFi - RTL8187B.

Driver has been installed correctly, when I turn the WLAN on everything is always OK, but when I connect to a network wireless Windows XP hangs after some time - without notice or BSOD - and the only thing I can do is to restart the PC holding down the button for 5 seconds.

    I have:
    -installed the latest BIOS (v3.70),
-installed the last version of drivers available (v6.1150.1112.2008)
-tried how it works on Vista Home Basic - it does not either, but on Vista only connection must be reset.

I searched on the web (perhaps not all), including this forum, but I was unable to find a solution.
Now I am seriously considering warranty claim, please help me to avoid that it ;)

    Hello

    It's really strange.
Are you sure that this happens because of the WLan card activated 100%?
I mean there could be another reason for this gel

I'm U400 too and I m running Win XP and Vista without problem!
At that time, I m using WiFi and everything works ok

I think it s not a Wlan related question, but there must be another reason why this laptop locks maybe a problem of RAM or something like that.

  • HP Pavilion zv5133ea WLAN card update

Hi, I have a HP pavilion ZV5133ea and I would like to update the WLAN card. My laptop is a 802. 11B only and I want to have a version of G. The number of the WLAN card is Broadcom BCM94301MPL since 2003. I know that I can always buy a card USB or PCM but I'd rather spend the internal card.

I tried another Broadcom card which was compatible G: BCM94309MP of 2002. However, at the start of the BIOS, it stops and says that the WIFI network is not compatible with this laptop. I tried a few others to Anatel Intel as well but with the same result. The BIOS is version F.35, which is the last from the HP site. Does anyone know if there is a compatible WLAN card? Thank you in advance.

    Hello:

It should, because I shot these reference numbers of repair zv5000 on the link below.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c00212209.PDF

    See page 3-12

You can install one of the maps in the manual and they must have the part number HP on them or will not work.
