  I have a HP psc 1315v all-in-one. All of a sudden, all the lights (on / RESUME, check paper, check print cartridge;) Size - 100%, fit to Page; Plain - paper type, Photo; Start copy - black, color) flashes at the same time. I can push the On / button back and he goes off, then comes back on and flashing. I tried the solution in troubleshooting with no result.

  The printer worked perfectly the day before. I have change the print cartridges the previous week, but was able to print several documents before it started. Can someone give me advice.

  This occurs when there is a fatal error in the firmware of the printer. There are only a few things you can try to clear up the problem. First of all try to do everything in the document below. If it's always do, try to do a hard reset. I'll post these steps below as well. If neither works, you need to replace the printer.

  To do a hard reset:
  1. make sure that the printer is turned on.
  2. pull on the power cord from the printer.
  3. pull out the power cord from the wall.
  4. wait for 30 seconds.
  5. plug in the printer and turn it on.

  You should look to see what are the versions of these fonts are available as part of your subscription to CC through Typekit. In InDesign CC, CC Illustrator and Photoshop CC, you can click on adding fonts Typekit option in the Type menu to start looking. And look for hundreds of other policies as well.

  Try to turn off the indicator. Node property or right click Advanced-> checked-> disabled state.

• LaserJet P1102w professional control panel light

  I configured my printer to eprinting with my Ipad. Everything works fine, however, now with the printer mode standby, the Green LED flashes continuously. Manual says it receives a print command or receives information. Is this normal? Is there something I need to do to stop this? Thank you

  Thanks for providing this information.

  I have check the Laserjet P1102w in the laboratory. After the printer mode "standby" ready light would flash on every couple seconds, probably as a reminder that the printer is still on, but in the mode 'sleep'. Everything is good to go.

  When the printer is in ready state and the job gets sent to the printer the Green LED flashes to indicate that he gets a job.

  Try going to the window-> Type and Tables-> character. That should give you a drop-down list of fonts, leading, kerning, etc.

  If you go to the window-> Styles-> character Styles, then you will get an empty list. A style allows you to group several characteristics of different text (font, color, leading, etc.) and apply them all at once, by choosing a character Style. In a new document, you will not have any models - you must do it yourself.

• Panel blinking lights OfficeJet 8500 has

  My OfficeJet 8500 Panel has all lights flashing and a message saying please turn printer and then turn it on again.

  The front 'logo' LED is enabled or disabled using a BIOS "Display front Logo" option that can be set on IT or OFF you need. Access your BIOS settings (F2 at startup) and check that this setting is set to 'ON '.

  My 1720dn flashes on the operator panel light, but there is nothing in the output.  I tried to reset the Panel, and again, it flashes and will not print.

  Any idea on how to fix the problem?

  The problem is with the Dell 1720dn laser printer output sensor.  Arm of the exit sensor, a small flap of plastic on the right side of the output paper tray (in the front of the machine) had been physically broken.  No other position has been addressed to a broken rudder of the sensor, even though others have mentioned of sensor cleaning and mentioned by unplugging.  Removed, the sensor arm couldn't 'back' to its gravitational assistance position that indicates an empty output tray.

  Solution as follows: unplug the sensor in the control panel of the IC.  Removed the side panel right (attached no strings attached, can be popped carefully.)  Remove the metal plate covering the IC Panel.  Disconnect the three strands from the output tray sensor wire bundle.  Replace covers.  Complete solution.

  Set the fill opacity to the content area of the Panel tab, rather than the opacity of the object. ~I1nj1,"m"SC.JJ,"m opacity is defined in the filler panel.

• Determine the area of the Area Light vs. Dark

  Here's another unusual for you.  Is it possible to have Photoshop to determine if the majority of a selected area is lighter or darker color.

  For example, some pictures have a pretty consistent brightness/darkness in the whole image, which means it doesn't are not all areas that are unusually dark or light.  In other cases, a picture can be average luminosity in most parts of the photo with the extreme (black background) dark areas so "average" the brightness is reduced a bit in this area very dark even though most of the image is not necessarily this dark.

  Is it possible to split these until an estimate of just how much of a selected area is extremely dark, how much mi-tonique and how much is extremely bright?  Thank you!

  The following c.pfaffenbichler suggestion, you could do something like this to get the pixels below 33 lum...

  You can modify the if statement for the midtones or highlights or add a couple more if statements to get all three in one pass of the index.
