  I recently got a new pc with Windows 7.

  I installed the jdk7 and pointed sqldeveloper at this location.

  But when I run SqlDeveloper blocks at about 15% in the progress screen.

  Something is probably corrupted in your application data directory.

  Find the sqldeveloper/4.X - Windows folder, it will be in your developer Application Data\Roaming Profiles\SQL. Delete, try running it again.

• Developer SQL and LDAP name resolution

  We have a database service configured in LDAP (OID) to resolve one of the two sites, depending on whether it is running on the main server or standby.  The connection details are in this format:

  When sqlplus or TOAD withdraws this LDAP connection string, they connect correctly, try the second server as expected.  When SQL Developer does this (connection defined as a type of LDAP connection) this works if the database is running in prodserver, but not drserver. During a recent exercise of DR failed to connect in SQL Developer with "ORA-12514: TNS listener doesn't know of service requested in connect descriptor."

  In the Details pane of the connection of the properties of the connection, it seems that SQL Developer is the analysis on the first host of the connection string it receives from the LDAP and use it, never try the site of DR.  My solution is to use a TNS connection type and put all of the string above in the login field.  It's not ideal, because I'm ignoring LDAP, but it does not have this problem.

• Two issues I think are linked: connectivity and Windows Firewall status. Service dependency dose not exist or has been marked for deletion.

  I reinstall a Menory card to check the weather it was defective. I also reset CMOS as part of the process. (Recommended HP) I found that the card was faulty. After reboot, I had security alerts that Windows Firewall did not work. And also unable to connect to the Internet.  I restarted the Sprint after disconnection and reconnection there. (USB) I was able to get the Internet, but the red X connection
  on the screen in the taskbar never changed to "land". Hovering on it said "dependence on the dose of service not exist or has been deleted. Everything I tried for this problem, either online or offline has failed.
  Pretty much the same thing for Windows Firewall, I can't change the settings, turn on and dosen't snap so. Eror code 0x6D9. Also get code MSSvcservice 87 (0 X 609). Both are still declining. Can't get in Windows Firewall / Advanced to change settings or turn on firewall. Cannot find Microsoft Firewall Client ISA server, look like, go.
  Right now I'm pretty frustrated, been working on this a day and half and I'm pretty well lost.

  Go to the Apps page.  Right-click on the music, and iHeart Radio apps, the Xbox and select uninstall from the menu at the bottom of the page.  Do the same for all the other apps of Xbox you can find, and they will be gone.  I did it on my new computer, and it seems that my computer works better than most (all?) upgraded computers and some new.

  We will examine that. One thing I want to mention, is that if you are looking for a different general purpose and use TestStand 2010 or higher, you should probably use the delay comes with TestStand rather under:

  I'm trying to understand what exactly happens when an error occurs when a transaction is committed because of a DDL statement. I noticed that with SQL Developer, if the DDL statement CREATE TABLE, the statement is executed, even if the DML statements which I entered before CREATE TABLE violates a deferred constraint, so that the transaction fails. In SQL * Plus, it's not the case: the table is not created. I have no automatic validation. I'm using Oracle 10 g XE.

  Well Yes, it is a slightly different situation, because you issue 1 statement that executes internally 2 statements.
  But the problem is the same: the error handling. Where sqlplus rejects again (implicit) statements, sqldev goes ahead and runs them anyway. Personally, I'd say sqldev is more consistent and sqlplus is not, because run the following instructions (explicit).

  If you want to change the directory where the configuration SQLDeveloper, files are saved you can add:

  Every time I'm fence design and export the ddl and reopening through the import of the DDL file

  Why are you doing this? Once the DDL file is imported and then save the drawing and open simply saved design, no need to generate the DDL and import it every time that you start Modeler data.
  On the list of values - forced as this CHECK (Active_Flag IN ('A', 'I')) are imported as constraint check plain and not as a list of values.
  There are the more specific elements import of check constraint - they are defined as type database constraint that you select during the import. Accordingly if you import your DOF as Oracle 10 g DDL, then you will get forced correct check in DDL generated for Oracle 10 g and Oracle 11 g. Constraint of evil will be generated for Oracle 9i. You can move the constraint for Oracle 9i (in the check constraint dialog box) or generic if it can be treated as such constraint.

  Hi all

  I found answers to my question on "Windows 7 Help Forums" http://www.sevenforums.com/> and a program to recreate and fix all the original Windows 7 hubs and symlink [attributes and security properties (full)], called 'Junction box' [site Web of Documentation: http://iwrconsultancy.co.uk/junctionbox>; and the download Web site: http://sourceforge.net/projects/junctionbox/?source=dlp>].

  I also found that there are more original than those listed above junctions.  My advice is to remove all the junctions, you could have recreated manually (or move them to your backup drive) before running "JunctionBox.exe" (using its configuration file "DefaultJunctions.ntj").  Then run it two or three times; because it is not recreate all the original joints the first time you run it.  It recreates the together the legacy of windows (see below), by default (C:\Users\Default), all users (C:\Users\All) and the current user (C:\Users\%UserName%), junctions on the first throw, but not the junctions of temp (C:\Users\Temp) and their targets. - you must re-create the junction target temp manually, yourself, if you want them to run.
