  One proposed by Simon is 'Close' and that you save enough information to rebuild your Application in the State was restoring it when it is reopened.

  Alternately, instead of really close your application, you could just put it on the bottom using

  UiApplication.getUiApplication () .requestbackground ();

  Once in the background, when the user selects again your application it will start immediately and will be exactly as it was left.

  This does not, of course, runs through judgment or commissioning of treatment you could want, so, for example, will not store all resources you want to put away when you know that the user is going to use your app for a while.  To help with this, look at the Application.activate () and Application.deactivate () methods.

  I have Adobe contribute 5 running on a laptop system Windows 7 Professional with office 2013. Whenever I reboot and open Outlook 213, after awhile 2013 Outlook closes and must reopen and then disables the plug-in, Contribute, which seems to be the culprit. I just want to disable the plug-in on Outlook Contribute permanently, but cannot find a way to do it, he always tries to reactiviate whenever I restart (which happens often as this is a laptop). Anyone have this probblem and solve it? Thank you.

  Welcome to the Adobe Forums.

  To disable the plugin from Microsoft Outlook 2013 Contribute, you have to click on the file menu, then choose options of it.

  File > Options > Add-Ins >

  Then click the Go to Manage com Add-ins button.

  Highlight the Contribute plugin in the list and remove it.

• Font colors are lost after saving and reopening files with WordPad

  WordPad allows me to change the colors of fonts in my file very well. But, after I've close it and reopen it, the color disappeared and returned to black. The files in question are plain text files.

  I was not able to reproduce this problem, as my font color has been saved.
  I open Wordpad. Typed in the text, it turns red. Saved the file. Reopen the file and the police were always in red.

• Is it just me or does Photoshop CC remembers what tools I used last when I close and reopen the program?

  I have years of experience using Photoshop, and I have used CC for quite a while now. Last year, I used a different computer more powerful than I have now, but I don't remember ever having this problem. It is less of a problem and more of a preference, but its still slow me down. Whenever I open it Photoshop (I only noticed this in Photoshop until now) my workspace is saved, but my toolbar doesn't remember the last tools I was using.

  For example: if I've been using the polygonal lasso tool, then close Photoshop and reopen, it is by default in the standard lasso tool.

  Does anyone know if there is a way to save what tools were used for the purpose or more often?

  Photoshop CC 2015 still remembers the tool, I'm the last one used. This looks like a problem suddenly, and many times they can clear up by a tidal wave of preference.

  I have firefox running 24. Gmail and google calendar will not charge not except in basic mode. This is true when firefox is in safe mode as well. If I reset firefox I can enter the sites until I restart the computer, but then I can't load the sites once again. I tried firefox uninstalling and reinstalling, same situation. Whenever I restart the computer I can't get Gmail or google calendar except if I reset firefox.

  in this case I think it would be better to start from scratch, to reformat the hard drive and reinstall a clean system...

• Rename a track disappears after quitting and reopening?

  I use garageband for years but you just download new version 10.1.2

  I've renamed tracks that said 'vocal female' to 'Fund' or 'harmonies' and then I saved my file.  When I come back, they all say "female voice" again.

  I tried a few times, but nothing works.  What is happening to someone else?  or do you know what it could be?

  How do you rename the track? When I Ctrl-click on the header of the track and rename it, the new name will stick after you save the project.

  But I have to wait with the name change, until some audio was added to the track.  If I first create a track, then rename the empty track and later put a loop in the track, the track name will change the name of the first loop and I rename it again.

  As mentioned by you that Firefox works fine when it is started in safe mode - is that at the time? To find out if some of the addons/plugins you have installed is causing the browser to freeze, can you please try disabling addons one by one to see if it helps to find the plugin that may cause this problem.

  Also, can you please confirm if you saw this question earlier or if it's something you started to notice once you have switched to Firefox 26.0.

  You can try resetting Internet Explorer as follows: be aware that this will remove bookmarks and saved passwords etc

  Open windows control panel, open Internet Options, click the Advanced tab, and then click the reset button.  Click 'Yes' or 'Ok' for all additional guests needed to complete the process.

  In case of failure to correct the problem and you are using Windows 7, follow these steps.

  Click on the Start Menu and select Control Panel.  Open programs and features, click on "Windows turn features on or off" and remove the check mark next to Internet Explorer 9 click Yes, then OK and then when restart the laptop.

  When Windows has restarted, click the Start Menu and select Control Panel.  Open programs and features, click on "Windows turn features on or off" and re-enter the checkmark next to Internet Explorer 9.  Click Yes and then OK and when it is finished installing, restart the computer again.

• Subform views apparent/hidden back to default after saving and reopening pdf

  I have a dynamic form that I created in LiveCycle.  I have a drop down which allows the user to choose between two different types of questions.  The subforms become visible or hidden based on the selection.  They can engage with the form and save it.  (The form is activated user rights).

  If the form is opened on another computer, the hidden and visible form views revert to their default state.  The text is still there, but it is hidden.  How to do so once the form filled in and saved back is not in the default view?

  My workflow allows a supervisor to click on a button and a release form.  Once the shape is unloced, the supervisor can add additional subforms for the document and the type of specific questions and choose between different types of questions.  Then they click on a button to LOCK these fields, and they created a new form dynamically.  Then, save and send an e-mail to the end-user to complete.  Unfortunately, when the user opens the document that they are unable to see certain questions as the form is returned to its default view.  That is A subform is visible, and B and C of Subform subform are now hidden.
