  I have re-installed CS5 and my CD deck after a new hard drive fitting, but now when I try to install my plug-in I get message ' Please close Bridge.exe. before you continue, but it is not open. I am running Windows 7.

  After the upgrade to osx 10.11.5 Some Apps do not close properly. A free App Icon(with the black dot) remains on the dock. I can start the application again, which leads to an additional icon. When I run the command "killall Dock" multiple icons dead is reduced to one. It seems that for most opengl using the Apps are kept in the Dock after closing.

  After a while, some of the Apps start more. Photos.app throws an exception "invalid pixel format.

  The only thing to get rid of the icons and the problem with apps not from, is to restart my mac.

  A normal reboot or a stop will not work (so I am unable to install the latest update of the operating system).

  I have to use 'sudo shutdown-h now' or hold down the power button.

  Does anyone else have this problem or even better: a fix for this problem.

  What is Wacom software installed on your Mac? If so, upgrade to the latest version. If it does not help uninstalling the Wacom software, including possible elements of Wacom/Bamboo in System Preferences > users and groups > Login.

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

  I am running windows 8.1 and Firefox 38.0.1. whenever I click on the Red 'x' to close Firefox, Firefox will not close. If I want to close all tabs, Firefox does not close the last tab. If I try to merge windows (by dragging the tab of a window in a different window) Firefox will create a blank tab on the window where I dragged the dragged tab. So far, the only way to close the Fire Fox is click on the close button or to stop by the Task Manager. When I re - open Firefox Windows and previous tabs are also there, and I'm still not able to close them. I restarted my PC and reinstalled Firefox (uninstalled and re-download). However, after downloading Firefox... the same windows will be opened, with the same tabs! It's horrible!

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

  • Click the menu button

    

    click Help

    

    then select restart with disabled modules.

  If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

  • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
  • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
    (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

  When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

  

  If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. • Notification Center will not close on my ipad 2

  My notification/widgets page will not close on my IPAD 2.  When I drag the page, it won't move.  I can see my page weakly in the background with "slide to unlock" and the clock start, but could not get anything to move.  I wanted to try to start again, but I can't stop because I can't drag any suggestions?
