I've updated the flash player.
In past threads, users said that they managed to solve this problem in a variety of different ways, suggesting that there may be multiple causes:
- Remove unwanted extensions
- Clean malware
- Disable hardware acceleration
- Change to a different drive Flash (developer/debugger version)
In response to these first two, here is my procedure suggested to track down and cleaning of the bad modules. I know it seems long, but it's not so bad.
(1) open the Control Panel, uninstall a program. After the loading of the list, click on the column heading "installed on" to group infections, I mean additions by date. This can help the undisclosed items bundle smoker who snuck out with some software, you have agreed to install. Beware of everything that you don't recognize / remember, since malware often uses sounding names important or innocent to discourage you remove. Out as much garbage as possible here.
(2) open Firefox page modules using either:
- CTRL + SHIFT + a
- "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
- in the Windows "Run" dialog box, type or paste
firefox.exe "about:addons"
In the left column, click on Plugins. Set essential and unrecognized plugins 'never enable '.
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, in case of doubt, disable (or delete, if possible) not recognized and unwanted extensions.
Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.
Any improvement?
(3) you can search the rest of problems with scanning/cleaning tools listed in our technical support article: Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware. These scanners on request are free and take a long time to run. If they end quickly, especially if they require the payment you have a serious infection. I suggest the specialty forums listed in the article in this case.

I have a desktop with Vista CAREB. It has always worked well until about June 11, 2012. Now it does not connect to Internet Explorer. It says it is connected to the internet and that has been verified by our server. Tried everything and eventually restored it and no problem. Then the next day, same thing and restored. Next day same thing so I disabled all updates and no problem. What new update windows made in the last few days which is the cause and what can I do?
Thank you
Hi Judy,.
We cannot verify that Windows Update is causing the problem, I suggest to install the Windows updates one by one and make sure that Windows Update is causing the problem.

Automatic update has occurred. Now the Task Manager does not come with window with tabs upward. Only a window with two columns ('Mission' and 'Status') and three option buttons ("end task", go to "and new task" "). Even not a 'close button' - may not only close to the taskbar.

Hi cmaag,
Thank you for using answers Forum.
There is not a way to uninstall Internet Explorer 7 I know.
Is there an error message that you can post on this forum?What happens when you try to update?
I suggest to use the System File Checker to search for missing and corrupt files that can cause the problem.
The tool File Checker system to determine if the problem you are experiencing is caused by one or more system files that are used by Windows Vista, run the System File Checker tool. The System File Checker tool analyzes the system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions.
To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:
- Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search .
- Right-click cmd in the programs list and then click run as administrator .
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click continue
- At prompt command, the following line, and then press ENTER:sfc/scannow
Please let us know if that helps.

updated from XP to Windows 7 and does not connect to internet
I'm upgrading to a computer running XP on a Windows 7 computer. I have all the wires and cables connected and in the correct places, but now with Windows 7 computer, I get a message that I am not connected to the internet.
I unplugged the computer Windows 7, rehooked the XP computer and everything works fine and connects to the internet.
I wonder... I must have an ethernet cable to most recent update with Windows 7 computer newer than what I used to the old XP computer?
Thank you!

new update of flash player 11 does not work with internet explorer 8
I have Windows 7 and IE 8. It is a home desktop computer.
When the last update of Flash Player 11.5.502.146 is automatically installed on January 9, IE8 has stopped working. I can browse a site, but then it just hangs. I can't click on a toolbar or other buttons or links - I can't even close IE - I have to use the Task Manager. If I disable Flashplayer, IE works fine, but then of course no content can be displayed. If I go to a site and then activate Flash Player, I can't click on anything again, so it does not work. Help. The most recent update does not work with IE8?
This looks like a problem that might be addressed in our latest beta version of 11.6. Could you try this updated version and let me know if this can help?

Problem with Hotmail. Usually when I start typing an address that is in my contact list, he fills automatically. Now I just get a circle going round and round. If I go to my contact list and select the address and click 'send email' will initially, it disappears in a second or two. To send a message, I have to enter the entire e-mail address in the field "to". This problem started about a week or two ago and doesn't happen when I connect to Hotmail using Internet Explorer.
It left me speechless. Still the same problem. I noticed that sometimes the auto-fill starts working for a few seconds, then I get the spinning wheel.
I will try to spend some time on it this weekend. -
The I am using the navigation does not appear in internet explorer, why not?
I went into the widgets library > publications > white as my navigation bar. After export to HTML to display in the browser to see if all correct them... the navigation bar stood in Chrome and Firefox but not in Internet Explorer. It is the only thing wrong with my site until I'm ready to live. Do I have to use a tool of different navigation bar? If yes where can I find it?
Thank you!
It may be a problem with IE blocks the content or preview, try to publish the site as a place to test and then check, check also with a newer version of Internet Explorer to isolate the problem with the version of IE specific.
Thank you

Line for the Hover draw style does not work in Internet Explorer
I found a great way to create a substitution effect when you hover over a table row, giving the row a class of "resultsRow" and using the following rules in my stylesheet:
{.resultsRow}
background-color: #EAEEB1;
}
{.resultsRow:hover}
background-color: #D2DE56;
}
It works perfectly in Firefox, but doesn't work at all in Internet Explorer, that's what will use the majority of our audience. Does anyone know a fix for this in Internet Explorer?The game, July 20, 2006 08:21:43 + 0000 (UTC), "Claire S.

the links are not accessible in Internet Explorer
The beginning of my site can be found at http://www.eversnug.com/holmeschiropractic. On my index page I am facing a problem that manifests itself ONLY in Internet Explorer. In Firefox, Safari and Opera, this problem is not apparent. During this time it takes to my page loading, the browser Internet Explorer recognizes four blue buttons at the bottom of the page and the form fields in the box "Request an appointment" and the links in the box to "Get Directions". When that time passed, however, and the page is loaded, all these elements become unusable or inaccessible. It's almost as if a transparent object to the higher z-index gets load on top of all these elements and covering them. I know this isn't the case, I'm just trying to describe the behavior. To compare, I've a bit of my site hosted links, and you will be able to see that the keys blue all work very well on all the pages, but the index page. Also, I copied the code of the 'Route' box on the drbenbio.html page so that you can compare this aspect, as well. Please keep in mind that this is the work of an amateur by five weeks and he was only partially. In addition, it is only on the internet at all so that I can get help with this question. I hope it's some coding error that is so ridiculously simple that I just cry when someone reports. I looked for more than ten hours trying at the bottom of this. Please save me!> You people will be able to take a second look at this site now that I have
