the links are not accessible in Internet Explorer

The beginning of my site can be found at http://www.eversnug.com/holmeschiropractic. On my index page I am facing a problem that manifests itself ONLY in Internet Explorer. In Firefox, Safari and Opera, this problem is not apparent. During this time it takes to my page loading, the browser Internet Explorer recognizes four blue buttons at the bottom of the page and the form fields in the box "Request an appointment" and the links in the box to "Get Directions". When that time passed, however, and the page is loaded, all these elements become unusable or inaccessible. It's almost as if a transparent object to the higher z-index gets load on top of all these elements and covering them. I know this isn't the case, I'm just trying to describe the behavior. To compare, I've a bit of my site hosted links, and you will be able to see that the keys blue all work very well on all the pages, but the index page. Also, I copied the code of the 'Route' box on the drbenbio.html page so that you can compare this aspect, as well. Please keep in mind that this is the work of an amateur by five weeks and he was only partially. In addition, it is only on the internet at all so that I can get help with this question. I hope it's some coding error that is so ridiculously simple that I just cry when someone reports. I looked for more than ten hours trying at the bottom of this. Please save me!

If I turn off javascript and links work. If the culprit is one of your .js
files. Disable each one by one and see which one is the culprit.

I noticed that some jpeg images are not display in Internet Explorer 11, but they display well in other browsers. I checked they are RGB images, because apparently some people accidentally use the CMYK format. IE is configured to display the images - I checked that also. The images used to display properly in Internet Explorer, and the images have not been changed on the server. The content was created using Dreamweaver CS6 and Photoshop CS6.

I tried to view the page on other computers running IE, and they also have this problem.

Any idea of what could be causing this to happen?

Thanks for looking in this people!

I discovered that prevented a few images to display in IE 11, while other images show. The culprit was Adblock Plus for Internet Explorer. Once, I disabled the software Adblock Plus missing images showed once again. Interestingly, I discovered that I could cause the same effect in other browsers using Adblock software. There is either a bug in the software of Adblock, or fluid network of Adobe system, which caused some legitimate images should be blocked. Whatever it is, they do not play well together right now. All images are stored on the same domain, and none of them related off site, so it's pretty weird that they have been blocked...

Anyway, the mystery is solved! I know people like to see a conclusion to these things as much as possible, so I'll mark this as resolved issue.

  • ExternalInterface not accessible in Internet Explorer until the object is made visible

The site I'm working on has a swf flex embedded in one of the tabs. When the page is first rendered the visibility of the swf file has the hidden value in the HTML code. That choices are made on the other tabs, javascript sends the information to the swf via ExternalInterfaces. This works fine in Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Opera, but not in Internet Explorer. If I call the ExternalInterfaces before that the swf file has become visible in IE I get this error: "object does not support this property or method". However once the object has been made visible for the first time at the session I stop these errors regardless of the current visibility of the swf file. It seems to me that the SWF is not instantiated until it is visible in IE. Does anyone know of a good job about or something I am doing wrong?

Thanks for your time and sorry for the bad explanation of the problem.

You can set the height and width to 0, which should make the same visual effect (being hidden), sovereign wealth funds less part of tha lazy initialization.

  • At the level of the main Div are not centered in internet explore

Hi my website 'www.eckul.com' looks good in all browsers IE to accept. The main frame must be at the centre and must adjust to the size of the window as as it does in firefox, but in IE its judgment to the left and the window is not set correctly. I know this is a common problem and I probably made a small mistake with the divs. But I can't seem to fix it. Any help would be great. Here is the web address. See you soon

    www.eckul.com

The only problem I see is that the browser can be confused as no doctype is defined on this page.  In DW click on edit-> properties-> title/encoding of the Page and select a doctype and leave the rest to DW.  The code itself seems perfectly fine and should be centered in all browsers.

  • Why the links are not active in the Windows 8 e-mail program?

I have been using Windows 8 during about two months now and I must admit that it is a little buggy but no bother it's why people like me come to the forums to help out and let everyone know something is not working correctly! If somehow when I get email from anyone with links in their email (YouTube) or everything that I noticed that they are not active and will open not in IE 10 or any browser. Now it's with the preinstalled Windows 8 Mail program not the version of the browser on the Outlook.com. I guess it is just called Outlook, but on the start menu, it is listed as a courier.   Y at - it a kind of reason for this or is it an oversight of some parameters, that I can't find to activate links? Tried searching with no luck and the help function substantially the same, no luck.

    Hello

Welcome to the Microsoft Community, the best place for all your windows related queries.

From your description, I understand the links that you receive in your email using the mail app are not active.

Could you answer a few questions to understand the question.

    1. in response to the same question in all accounts e-mail you have set up in the mail application?

    2. is Internet Explorer your default browser?

I wish to inform you that this is not a bug. You should be able to access links through the mail application.

So I suggest you to remove the account and it resynchronize on mail application and check.

  • How can I fix the link from Outlook Express for Internet Explorer

I am running Windows XP home. Whenever I get an email with a link to a website, my outlook express freezes and I havce to restart.

    Can someone help please

Reset IE as default value even if it already seems that is first, and then restart it.

Control Panel | Add/Remove programs. Set Program Access and Defaults. Custom + down arrow | Choose a default browser. Select the Internet Explorer radio button.

    If that does not do...

If nothing happens when you click on a link:
Open Windows Explorer or on the control panel.
Go to tools | Folder options | Types of files.
Scroll to [NONE] URL: HyperText Transfer Protocol (NOT the shortcut URL: Internet) and select it.
Click Edit or advanced, depending on your version of Windows.
    Choose 'open '.
    Click on change.

"Application used to perform action" should read:

"C:\PROGRAM may EXPLORER\iexplore.exe" - nohome (check the path to)
Iexplore.exe to ensure that it is correct and use the double quotes).

DDE should be checked and in the boxes below, you should have:

    #1:
    « %1 »,,-1,0,,,

    #2
    IExplore

    #3 (white)

    #4
    WWW_OpenURL

Protocol URL: HyperText Transfer with Privacy should be the same.

If the foregoing is correct, uncheck the box: use DDE.

And if you still have problems, try a new OE identity.

You may have a damaged identity especially if it's the default main identity. File | Identities | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. If all goes well, you can import your messages and address book from the old identity and delete it.

  • records showing as shortcuts. contained in the files are not accessible

Hi, I hope someone can help me solve my problem.

During a trip, I used my USB in different rooms, most of them had antivirus software. I have, I think, has contracted a virus that makes the shortcuts in my files. If I try to open these folders with the shortcut, nothing happens. It seems that files and folders are deleted, but it's not tru. I can contact them by entering the location on the taskbar. Then, I can reach the underlying files and folders.
When I look at the properties of shortcuts, I read that the shortcut refers to "pieimix.exe". I typed the name of the file in google but no results. I hope you can help me solve my barely visible files.

On the internet, I found a similar problem, but suitable for thus to get the files on another disk and then format the drive. This isn't a solution for me because the problem later is not only on that my USB has been good on my external hard drive (bigger than my local drives) and a SD card in my camera. The files on my C drive has not changed for shortcuts.

I hope someone has a good solution for my problem.

    Hello

Method 1: You try to run Microsoft Safety Scanner mode safe mode with networking and see if it helps.

To restart in Mode safe mode with networking enabled:
    (a) reboot your computer.
    (b) when you see the logo of the manufacturer of the computer, press on and hold the F8 key.
    (c) on the screen Advanced Startup Options, use the arrow keys to Select Safe Mode with networkand press enter.
    (d) log your computer with a user with the administrator of rights account.

Now, try to scan your computer for Microsoft Safety Scanner, it will help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Warning: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

Method 2: Also, try the steps from the link below.

    Delete files using Disk Cleanup:

  • Some of the links are not clickable in firefox on windows 7

When I log-in to www.traffup.net some links inside my members area no longer not clickable.
I do not have a toolbar and the problem also happens with links that are not near the top.
When I click on links nothing happens. Here is the source code of some of the links that do not work

    <ul id="dropdown">
    	<li class="lbl">Howdy Thomas</li>

    	<li><a class="main">Websites</a>

    		<li><a href="http://traffup.net/favourites/">Favourites</a></li>
    		</ul>

I think the problem is this kind of link:
    < a class = 'hand' > < /a > Web sites

These appear on the page. If everything would work and then clicking them should open a drop-down list with the other 3 links, but it does not work.

Firefox doesn't seem to know how to handle.
But the same version of firefox does work on Vista.

I also tried the version 17 of the channel Update Beta and Aurora-> same problem

I tried the Mode safe mode-> same problem

  • The I am using the navigation does not appear in internet explorer, why not?

I went into the widgets library > publications > white as my navigation bar. After export to HTML to display in the browser to see if all correct them... the navigation bar stood in Chrome and Firefox but not in Internet Explorer. It is the only thing wrong with my site until I'm ready to live. Do I have to use a tool of different navigation bar? If yes where can I find it?

    Thank you!

It may be a problem with IE blocks the content or preview, try to publish the site as a place to test and then check, check also with a newer version of Internet Explorer to isolate the problem with the version of IE specific.

    Thank you

  • Adobe needs to inform people when the links are not supported in Firefox or Safari

A few months ago, I was unable to download skins for Robohelp from the gallery. A customer service representative told me that I could not download Mozilla Firefox. I was able to download after I launched the Skins Gallery of Internet Explorer. So today I tried to download a CC Dreamweaver trial version. I got a lot of crazy error messages and more than 100 tabs with mistakes Mao/SAP is open in Mozilla Firefox. I've searched the forums and read what a Safari user lived something similar, trying to install a free Photoshop trial. Then I tried IE to install the Dreamweaver trial version and it worked. Adobe should probably inform people in advance that they need to use IE.

Donna Saporito have you received the error, "[browser] does not know how to open this address, because the Protocol (aam) is not associated with any program."  If Yes, then please see error referring to the Protocol of the Mao, when you click on the download button. • The links are NOT visible in FF, are visible in Chrome

I MUCH prefer FF any other browser, but the fact that FF cache broken on our bulletin board links prevents me to detect problems until they are called to my attention. Is there a way to force FF to show broken links?

The capture on the left is Chrome, FF is the right one.

I did a hunting more around, lucky and found THIS:
    http://megashare.altervista.org/blog/2012/08/enable-broken-image-placeholders-in-Firefox/

It seems to do EXACTLY what I need. The new capture is the same area as the image on the right in my first post, but in FF, after I followed the instructions in the megashare link. ALL my browsers now display the placeholders.

Sorry if I wasted your time trying to help me. I think with a little more searching, I could have solved the problem without disturbing you.

  • The links are not underlined and the box is checked so they are?

My hyperlinks or links lose underlining on them? I went to tools and checked for them to be underlined. I went in inspect changed element there and they came back but will not stay. Is there a way to save the changes I made in the HTML code?

While Firefox has a setting that allows you to specify a preference for the underlining of the link pages can ignore it. Many Web sites, like this one, try to reduce the appearance of disorder that can be created by the underlining of links.

For some reason today, I noticed that the Google results have changed for not having pointed out the main title. Google is constantly experimenting the results page, so this could change back tomorrow.

If you want to apply a rule that all links should be underlined, you probably an add-on (either a specific extension to this feature, that allows you to apply your favorite page styles).

  • Dialog box is much larger than the screen as well as the buttons are not accessible!

Hello.  I ran over a display of 5040 x 1050 ground three monitors.  Recently, the dialog box overview wake were opening on the 2nd and 3rd monitor.  They are not mobile.  This means illustrator freezes that I can't click on the Yes/No/agree or what say the buttons off the screen.  I tried to resize my screen, but who did to fix things and I had to close the program using the Task Manager.

Any idea on how to solve this problem?

    Concerning

    Paul

    Paul,

You may be able to increase the resolution of the screen (before start up of Illy) and then move the boxes as you wish.

Or you can press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift while starting to reset preferences and we hope to return floating them.
