• Problems with connecting fiber and new router AirPort

  I installed the fiber optic connection to replace my cable modem connection... I have a network of airport for a long time. When I bridge router ISP in my airport network that there are multiple problems.   Unfortunately, Apple has designed their routers airport to work with a standard cable and DSL type connections. The fiber is a whole new game ball, and Apple has not yet learned the rules of the game, so you may or may not have a really hard question.

  When you plug the ethernet cable from the modem ISP Ethernet port on the WAN of Timecapsule port all the TC LAN ports go dead.

  Before you connected to the fiber "modem" Time Capsule, did first reset you back to default settings... and then... set up again I hope to work with the fiber optic router?

  If this isn't the case, you need to do whenever you change providers or the modem that the Time Capsule connects to.

  All other devices that might be connected to the time Capsule should be turned off and unplugged.

  Then, if the time Capsule can be configured to work with the "modem" fiber, you can connect devices to the time Capsule one at a time to ensure that each of them is working before connect you to the other.  It may be necessary to reconfigure some or all devices that are connected to the time Capsule so that everything works again.

  Bottom line here... get the time Capsule working first with the "to modem" fibers.  Then start to add other devices to time Capsule one at a time.

• [SOLVED] Problem with the ACB and InterVLAN routing

  I have Cisco 3750 G with IOS k9 - mz.150 - 2.SE4 Service of intellectual property. In my network, I have 4 VLANs with 4 internet gateways. I have set 4 static route for each gateways and with PBR to match this static routes. If I use "set ip next-hop" all traffic goes through the specific gateway interVlan routing does not work (I need to because the customers interVlan routing in different VLANS must be), and if I use 'set ip default next-hop', I was incapable of it attributed to Vlan (road-map lan14 not supported based on routing strategies).

  Model SDM is on the road that ip Routing is enabled.

  Here is my config for 2 of these VLANS:

  You have created courses 2-card to set the next hop for a portion of the traffic classified with an acl.

  If you want any other traffic manager you must create an empty instance of your roadmap

  Example:

  lan7 allowed 10 route map

  football game...

  map of route allowed lan7 20 ==> Add this instance and leave it empty. You say the switch/router that he must refrain from other traffic but nothing to apply.

  I installed a wireless belkin router on my laptop L10 and have an excellent connection to the internet - everything works fine. However, I would like to secure the connection to prevent indiscreet listening - I tried to do this under the encryption and authentication of the menus, but I'm not sure about the different acronyms used - eg Shared, WEP and WPA for example.

  I tried different combinations of these, but the laptop disconnects just from the router until I return to the connection 'open' standard with encryption disabled. Can someone point me in the right direction... ??

  Your router is unknown to me, but encryption is still working on the same path. Check the security settings of your router, then select security options. Set the encryption you want to use (WEP) and the password.

  If everything is done on the right track to avoid any problems. I also use WIFI at home with 64-bit encryption, and I spent 10 minutes for any configuration.

• OfficeJet 6835: Connection printer/fax to the single telephone line with answering machine and DSL router

  I change my current 2 lines phone/fax with answering machine setup and router DSL to a single line.  I have the right instructions HP and all the necessary parts and wiring diagrams, but I can't determine which of the now used phone cords is 'special' one provided in the box with your printer.  Instructions for the installation of a line saying I should use this cord between the DSL filter and the 1-line port on the printer for reliable fax.

  How can I identify this original HP cord?  And, in case I can't, what makes it "special"?

  I understand that you change the way that your fax is installed on your HP Officejet Pro 6835 e-all-in-one printer and you want to be able to identify the phone cord supplied with the printer. I would like to help.

  Usually the phone cord supplied with the printer is black and a 2-wire telephone cord. There are basically 2 types of telephone cords, 2-wire or 4-wire. cords 2 telephone wires are the most basic phone cords and because the fax was built around the analog telephone systems, this is the type of cord they suggest to use.

  You can identify a phone cord of 2 sons looking at the end of the connector that you plug into the phone jack. Please see the attached diagram below.

  

  Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

  In the computer turn off IPv6 under properties for wired connections and wireless LAN.  Restart and try again.

• Laptop with Windows Vista wireless and wired computer with XP SP3 and office router cannot share folders

  1. I can ping computers by IP address and name, but I can't access the shared folders on the desktop to the laptop.
  2 working group is set up on both machines with the same name.
  3 McAfee and win firewall is turned off both for troubleshooting purposes.
  4. from office network places, it shows files from the laptop.  The laptop computer, the desktop computer is not seen.
  5 hot fix for XP machine, Layer Topology Discovery LLTD (Link) (KB922120) answering machine will not load on the desktop with XP SP3.

  Have you tried to change the wireless channel that your router is running at? There may be interference that could prevent the network connection:

• Seem to have conflict with hp dv9408nr and bt router (cant get wpa2) wireless usb would be the way to go

  Yes an external WIFI should help you but you need to test and verify the material according to the needs. You can use your favorite search engine to search for any third party material which may help you.

  I would like to be more intelligent.

  Here's the little story, installing the camera outside the Conference on Disarmament did not work, so after reading here, I downloaded the software site and installed by directly accessing ip camera. The wireless camera works if I access it by putting the IP in my network... I can't access it on the internet.  I'm not sure what network settings must be in place within the modem or the router.  So here are the details:

  Modem:

  Actiontec GT701

  Local IP address: 192.168.0.1
  Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
  Local DHCP: off

  Mode PPPOE, no firewall.  NAT is on.  Now that I read the number double nat, that might be the problem.  But when I put the modem in transparent bridge mode, disable NAT, I lose the internet connection.  I enter the PPPOE details in my router, but that does not really do anything.

  Do not put your modem in transparent bridge mode, it should be in full bridge mode... Try to disable your internal firewall of the router... Check the external IP address on your router installation... The external ip address to view your camera on the Internet... Suppose that the external ip address on your router installation is 66.x.x.x, open a web browser when you are on the Internet (outside your network) type i.e of external IP http://66.x.x.x:1024 and you should see the prompt for username and password for your camera... Make sure that port 1024 is open using a Port Scanner(sometimes port does not open, though you have port forwarding enabled on your router)... Yes, you can also try DMZ...

  B. do you receive this error only with firefox?

  Try to change the registry and check if it helps.

  1. go to "Start-> Run" (or press the windows key + R) and type regedit and click OK
  2. use the directory tree hierarchy to access the 'HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\HTTP\shell\open\ddeexec '.
  3. delete the registry key 'ddeexec '.

  I extended an APInvDistAllVO view object by adding two fields which are functions. Basically, in the invoice approval screen, I want to add two fields where the distribution of the invoice is shown.

  The SQL contained in jdeveloper when you extend the VO object is different from the query, what I see in the invoice approval page by clicking on the APInvDistAllVO link. There are two bind variable: 1 = invoice_id and: 2 = line_number being added dynamically. After the extension of the view object, the invoice distribution line is displayed as no record found.

  In my opinion, it is due to not having bind variables does not correct parameters being passed, and under this point of view object is an object depending on the invoice header record. There is a link to the original View object as well. Will be very grateful if someone can provide the way forward in dealing with this situation.

• EA7500 and three RE7000s - seamless roaming

  My current setup is 4 different old (all with ethernet wiring) wireless routers to get coverage in all of my house. There are a lot of walls in concrete and insulation where 4 routers. The problem I have is that I have quite often disconnects and reconnects as my move of one router to the other devices.

  I want to do is get an EA7500 and three RE7000s. Each of the RE7000 will have a wired connection to the router that will also have a swich next to additional ports.

  My question is the transparent roaming will (802.11r / k) knit between access points and router in this situation? Happy to make the investment if it will work, but I want to confirm this first. I saw messages with a RE7000 and a router and some with a RE7000 as an Extender and the other as an access point. All mine would be connected acccess points.

  I posted this in the channel of wireless routers, but if it is better placed under access points please let me know.

  In addition, to configure your policies of Management Center of firepower to make the most effective module, I recommend the Cisco Live presentation by 2015: "BRKSEC-2018 migration ASA IPS and CX to firepower." You don't have to worry about the title, it's a good overview for most use cases.

  The WLC interact with the ASA directly but the placement of your controller and you use anchor and host controllers can play in your ASA interface design (i.e. comments in an area controllers demilitarized). Other than that, Wireless subnets are just part of the variable "$HOME_NET" located on the module of firepower.
