  Want javascript to attach to a button that does the following: -.

  ask the user in the dialog box how many copies of page 10, they wish to print.

  Seems easy hmmm not to me... Unfortunately.

  If this cannot be done is is it possible to have page 10 selected in the dialog box for normal printing on a button... which brings up the print dialog box and all you have to do is select the number of copies.

  When a mobile user install my application and his motive is not install Adobe AIR / low version of the AIR, it would be a popup asking installation of Adobe AIR required.

  iPhone will work the same as iPad - so does not rely on a separate installation of AIR.

  You can achieve the same thing with Android if you deploy a period in captivity.

  Assuming you are using Flash Pro - when you publish to Android just select "Embed AIR runtime associated with the application". As the text suggests it automatically includes the AIR runtime in your application.

  For my application, I can't use a simple MessagePopup where the user must select the OK button to continue.

  I created a new Panel with just a text message and an OK button to act as a MessagePopup.

  When I call InstallPopup and the box pops up that I have to wait until the user selects OK before continuing as the MessagePopup.

  The popup has no effect on the mouse: it can happen that you have a function that manipulates the cursor before the popup is displayed? A SetWaitCursor (1); would be sufficient.

  My requirement is to allow the user to select a fixed number of values using the SelectManyShuttle component only.

  Suppose if I have 10 available values in the left part of the element of the shuttle, I should allow the user to shuttle only three values on the right.

  In the image below, I already have 3 employees. Now the user should not be able to select employees more.

  There are different strategies how to implement this. The easiest will be to check the size of the selected list when the user cklicks the button finished. If the number is larger that the size limit display you an error message.

  Another way would be to use a valueChangeListener and the listener, check the size of the new value and add the tonthe size from the size of the already selected list. Then display an error message.

• Reader SDK: is it possible to see what text the user has selected?

  I use Adobe Reader SDK with c#, by looking at the characteristics of communication monitor.

  I can open a document in the reader and allow the user to the user the reader as select text tools, etc.

  Here's the problem: I want my application to know what text that the user has selected.  And I would like to know the name of the field that the user has selected, not only the text of the field.

  PIA of Microsoft Office went something like this:

  Is it possible to do with IAC or javascript or plug in the Player SDK features?

  If this is not the case, can it be done with the Acrobat API?  I've looked through the two sets of documents and have not found what I needed.

  To write a plug-in for Adobe Reader, you will need to go through 2 separate steps.

  Step 1 - Download the SDK Adobe Acrobat (from here http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat)

  and build your plugin against the Acrobat product, following the documentation to ensure that you use only the API that does not exist in the player program. The documentation tells you what version of the Adobe ACrobat program or Reader is required for the function and that the function can be called in Reader.

  Second step: apply for a certificate of reader allow your plug-in to be loaded by the player, the link is on the same web page as the link above. This step can be started until you have created your plugin, and I recommend that start you this process before you develop your plug-in like Adobe may refuse to give you the certificate in which case your development would be lost.

  Only once you have authorization form Adobe can you do your job of plug-in with the reader app.

  Once you have done these two steps there are a lot of people on this forum who can help you with specific problems you may encounter.

  If you are not sure of having the knowledge to build the plug-in, there are a lot of people that you can hire to create the solution for you.

  OK, this will be much better than just having it scattered randomly in the list.

  What you want to do is to create another view (to the same instance of VO) accessor, this time in your entity object. For this class accessor, you include a named view criteria (change the accessor for that) which limit the selection that the entries 'selectable '. Then, set a validation rule 'List' to the entity object attribute target, select 'In', 'View attribute accessor', and your display accessor and the attribute. Given that the VO attribute uses the more general accessor, which will determine what appears in the LOV, but an attempt to choose something that is not in the narrow view accessor will send a validation error.

  When I run the present I don't see folders and files of these 3 types. The file type dropdown contains the entry "go", there is not "all files (*.)" *) ». YMMV on different versions of windows, but there is always a way to escape. Just enter an asterisk in the file name prompt under Windows and it will show any type of files without worrying.
