Aspire Audio conflict / micro v5-571

Hello, I have an Acer Aspire v5-571, which only comes with an audio input so I think that it's a combo microphone / audio.

The problem is when I plug my only audio headphones into the Jack, it turns off the internal mic sometimes. Other times I would play with the taken by plugging headphones in until it works where I can hear through headphones and speak into the built-in microphone.

When I talk sometimes my friends tell me that my microphone emits strong and unpleasant noises forcing me to not talk / mute myself. I heard myself as well through testing.

I guess it's a conflict in making combo that he expects to receive both a helmet instead of simply audio mic audio/entry entry. I also tried to use the audio/mic headset, but when I plug the microphone in the headphones & internal MIC will not work, I can hear through them.

I have not modified the sound drivers by default in any way so far. I prefer to use audio only receive headphones and microphone internal, but it seems that the problem lies in the in my opinion.

An audio splitter will work if I plug just regular headphones without a mic inside? If this is not the case, is it possible to keep my internal mic still active? Also, how can I remove the unpleasant noises coming from my microphone when I don't even know?

Any help is appreciated.

    I can add a SSD for my Aspire V Nitro 15 VN7 - 571 G-72UZ? It's super slow...

    Absolutely Yes.

Update to the SSD HARD drive is a good way to improve your PC. My suggestion is to only install the OS on the SSD if the HARD drive still works. Then use the HARD drive as secondary storage. This would save space on the SSD so you won't need to buy SSDS with capacity. I don't know what your operating system, but normally a 120 GB SSD is sufficient for the OS. And you can install some favorite programs if there is a lot of space left after the installation of the operating system.

Clean install and cloning two works, yet if you want to keep all the current personal settings, cloning is the best choice. You can learn more about transfer of HARD OS to SSD drive here. Note that after cloning or a clean installation, you will need to remove the old HDD or change the boot settings in the BIOS to check if the operating system starts. If everything is OK, reformat the partition to the OS on the HARD drive in Windows PE mode (you cannot format under Windows environment).

    Kind regards.

  • Acer Aspire HD E1 graphics driver - 571-4000

Hello, I tried to update the HD Graphics 4000 driver in my Acer Aspire E1-571 and I'm able to get the latest version of the driver works very well from the Acer support page. However, this driver is almost 3 and a half years now or dates from 2012 with the fact that every time I encounter a problem with a modern game support always telling me to update my drivers. The latest driver from Intel page is perhaps not more than two months. I am aware that the driver must come from the OEM for him to be recognized, but decided to opt for a workaround see if I could update it in any case.

I tried the advice from the support page from Intel to uninstall the driver from Acer and do a fresh reinstall with the latest Intel driver instead, but it does not work. It seems that it only allows for Installer try to install it but fails halfway through, as supposed is not at all tell me to go to my OEM. It seems that Acer genuneily uses the custome for its driver software and if the latest driver must be provided.

I'm I missed something here, this is really the last version supplied by Acer and would it be possible for Acer to release a newer version. I also checked with people who use an HD Graphics 4000 and they do not seem to meet the same problems I did when using DX11. Which none use Acer laptops.

My characteristics are i5 - 3210 M 2.5 GHz with Turbo boost of 3.1 GHz technology

    8 GB RAM DDR3

Version number of Intel Graphics HD 4000 9.17.10.2867

I finally found the solution, you had reason to propose a system reset but that only highlighted the real problem. It was a combination of issues, hive corrupted corrupted windows installer and interference from program files. I recommend to anyone who tries this correction to create a Windows easy transfer file and backup register and license keys.

First of all, I tried to do a refresh of the system and then install the driver, even though I've updated first he failed and blue screened after the installation of the driver as he had not the necessary DirectX update. Which implies that updates has not really saved. I opened a restore point to back up the system and he projected blue perma then. The system repair tool is not actually grant me access to the restore point to try again. To work around this problem, I opened the disk part via the command prompt in the advanced and then forced Startup Repair tool permissions. To do this, I typed first 'Diskpart', then 'list volume', then select the disk D and C drive by their volume number. For my part D training was 0 and C disk 1, then withdraw their letters and assign again so that the primary drive is drive C (even if it does not change letters volume the end of it, it will always be you grants the permissions you need). This love so much "select volume 0", "Remove letter = d','select volume 1','Remove letter = c','select volume 1','affect letter = c',"select volume 0", " affect letter = d'. "" "" Then type 'exit' and 'rstrui.exe'. Perform the restore from here point and you should be able to continue the restore point.

With myself however, the restore point has been so severely altered it could not load up, worse yet, I was not able to make an another refresh or reset. I discovered that this was due to corrupt hive files, I renamed to solve this problem through the command-line as follows, ""C: ', 'cd %windir%\system32\config', "ren system system.001", "ren software software.001', 'exit'." This then allowed me to perform a system reset.

The first thing I tried to do was last updated in the system and even once, it has failed, it is constantly necessary to restart and wouldn't install anything. After you perform a clean boot, I realized that it was interference program McAfee and after he could not afford to be disabled I uninstalled it completely (I might have updated to see if he would settle the matter, but at this point, I was losing patience). Procceded updates until the end of the first batch. After that, the update has been stuck in a loop of always trying to find updates but never finished. It was because corrupt windows files from the installer, to solve this problem, I restarted the machine to make sure that the update has been closed and I opened as an admin command prompt so I could rename them and force the system to make new files by typing the following. "net stop wuauserv", "net stop cryptsvc", "net stop bits. Then type "ren SoftwareDistribution.old C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution", "ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old. Then type 'net start wuauserv', 'net start cryptsvc', 'net start bits' reactivate the update and then restart the computer. The update then worked fine until he hit Security Windows KB2756872 solve this I used a manual installation.

Available to the Update for Windows 8 for x 64 systems (KB2756872) - Microsoft and then select Windows8-RT-KB2756872-x 64.msu (162.8 MB).

After this all updates completed fine, I created my restore points (and a backup just in case restore point) and continued to install the driver manually. It worked the first time after having solved the problems. I use Windows easy transfer to restore all the files and after I re - install my programs, I'll be as good news.

I get no error message, but it's really starting to get annoying. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might have a HD audio conflict. Very well known if you install of Nvidia HD audio drivers when using onboard audio. Do not install the Nvidia HD audio drivers or disable them in Device Manager.

  • PC freeze when starting games

This is going to be a bit long, I hope that the details could shed some light on my problem. I have problems with the commissioning games. Whenever a game gets to a point where it begins to display 3d graphics, my system hangs. I have searched in many forums and found similar problems, but none of the fixes worked for me.

First of all, I am under 4G of RAM, Intel Pentium D processor, as well to 3.00 GHz and a Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT.

A little background first of all. I played World of Warcraft on my pc for a few years now. Back in August, I fell prey to a fairly widespread worldofraids.com keylogger that took advantage of a vulnerability in the Flash Player. My account has been compromised, but restored by Blizzard. I cleaned the files infected my computer off manually, as AVG did not catch them and installed Kaspersky, who caught a few others that I had missed.

Over the next few months, I noticed decreases the performance of my pc. I would get about 35 fps in a fight against a boss, 15 3 next, after that, then on a picture by six seconds. Some of the members of my Guild suggested overheating, but another guildie told that my file has been flooded by debris from the keylogger. He gave me a list of programs to run (malwarebytes, smitfraudfix and ccleaner, among others). I followed his instructions, cleaned the infected nearly 200 registry keys and appeared for the raiding of next week without any problems (I even overcame damage for several fights counters).

Our raid week finished, and in the meantime I played torchlight through steam upward all night before our next raid day. When I logged in the next night, my graphics glitched descent and I was unable to play. The screen would Pixelize, the sound would start stuttering, and I got a bsod. The bsod's happened twice and every other time the pc could just lock or to restart. I thought that this could be a problem with WoW, so I loaded with torches and got the same problem.

My minidumps for the time, I actually got BSOD said being faulty nvidia drivers. I took my roommate's video card and put it in my pc and was able to connect to WoW without crashing, but my sound is released (Windows said it was due to an audio conflict). I put my card in the pc of a friend, and he ran wow without problem. I tried to update my drivers but also to roll back to the older drivers to no effect.

I carried out stress tests on my system and the memory passes, my cpu goes, virtually everything up to the gpu, which still crashes my pc without indicating why exactly. The motherboard seems in good condition, with no bulge or leak capacitors.

In my reading similar incidents, I thought that I might have some residual registry problems so I bought Windows 7 (as XP Media Center came pre-loaded on my pc) and a custom settled 64-bit, spares nothing. I downloaded the new drivers for everything and even updated the BIOS for my motherboard. I reinstalled WoW and it still crashes.

By raising the specs on my card, I noticed that it requires a minimum 400W power supply. Mine was 300W, although she had worked for more than a year without problem. Might think that any change in my settings fan or similar
be just enough power to defeat of drawing, I ordered a new power supply 550W. After replacing it, I fell again. I was able to connect only once for about 10 minutes after replacing the power supply, but the next time I tried to connect (several hours after turning off my pc) it crashes immediately.

I did not get a bsod since the first couple of times, so I don't have the minidumps for access. I have disabled the automatic restart, but which causes just my system hang when I crash and I have to turn off manually.

A couple of things more I noticed that may be linked: when I run WoW since the pitcher, usually the screen would go black temporarily and then proceed to the login screen. Since the problems started, in that brief moment where the screen goes black, it flashes a white text on the screen in a view type BACK. I was not able to read as it happens so fast, but he mentions shading and some other graphics settings. It's a short list of articles, about 10-15 lines.

In addition, from time to time at my computer at idle (not in mode "standby", usually when I'm playing my 360) I hear the speakers make a pop sound, similar to when you turn on the. I checked what could be a short circuit by touching the case, but everything seems to be fine. Electrical installation in my apartment is a little older, but I use my pc, monitor and speakers through an inverter.

I am quite at a loss what to do now, other than trying to replace my motherboard. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be happy to try. Sorry it was a bit on the long side. Thanks in advance.

    Hi digimicah,

Thank you for using Microsoft Windows forum.

To troubleshoot BSOD, start your computer in Mode safe and check:

    Here's how:

    1. reboot your computer and start pressing F8 on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured to start to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears.

2 select Safe Mode when the Windows Advanced Options menu is displayed and press ENTER

If it works with Safe Mode, you can choose to run the clean boot.

You can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note When you perform a clean boot, you may temporarily lose some functionality. When you start the computer as usual, the function returns. However, you may receive the error message, or you can experience the original behavior.

Follow the steps below to put your computer in a clean boot state:

Note If the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from following these steps. We recommend strongly that you do not use System Configuration utility to change startup options on the computer, unless a support engineer Microsoft directs you to do so. This can make the computer unusable.

    1. sign the computer by using an account with administrator rights.

    2. click on the Start button, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    3. on the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)

    4. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.

Note Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.

    5. click OK and then click on restart.

Check the link to learn more about the clean boot below:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    1. click the Start button, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    2. on the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    3. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

Looks like there is a problem with the display drivers.

As the posts above mention, the problem comes from your drivers.  BSOD crashes are usually caused by bad drivers (manufacturer's code).  With Windows 7 being again your manufacturer is not fully functional drivers.
Unfortunately, when this is the case there is little Microsoft can do that the problem is with the provider code.  I suggest you knock it down on their support lines (send your incident information) and tell them that you found accidents as a result of their hardware and drivers - they should open the relevant support for you tickets.

    What you can try to:

    1. update all the drivers (sound card, graphics card, etc...)
    2. try to disable caching
    3. try to disable virtualization
    4. try to use the onboard sound with the updated drivers

Make sure you have the latest chipset drivers installed with the latest BIOS.

    WARNING OF THE BIOS:

Change (CMOS) BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

I also suggest you to download and install the latest drivers updated.

Also check out this link for more information on how to fix blue screen errors:
     http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/958233

If none of this works, try reducing to 2 GB of RAM.
If your Board has 3 or 4 locations, use only 1 and 2 housing

I just ordered an Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro VN7 - 571 G-50VG and it came with a 1 TB drive HARD + 128 GB SSD. I tried to remove two disks and just install a 500 GB SSD instead. When I started to disassemble the laptop, I couldn't find the 1 TB HARD drive, it was under the keyboard and to the right, as in other models that I found on YouTube. I removed that and installed my 500GB SSD. I booted up my laptop to find that it still initialized from the 128 GB SSD. Because I could not find, I thought to leave there and instead of the 500 GB SSD boot by changing the boot order. I made and noted that the 128 GB SSD was labeled 'HDD0' and the 500GB SSD was labeled "HDD1. However, he kept always begin on the 128 GB SSD!

    Hi navnyu,

    (a) what software do you use to record audio? Using Sound Recorder in Windows Vista or any other third-party application?

    (b) what device you use to record audio? Micro analog video camera, CD player and DVD player

You can check the volume settings on the device itself for the volume levels.

Also check the settings of volume (if available) in the recording software

What type of jack audio and microphone is on the acer aspire v3 - 571 g? I would like to buy a headset that needs an audio PLUG to 4 pin + jack mic combined (iPhone/Samsung headsets with microphone) and I was wondering if my laptop was there.

Your laptop has standard audio input/output jacks. 3.5 mm plug. Absolutely, you can buy the kit microphone and headphones, but you will need an adapter that allows to use the headphone jack and microphone jack separately on your device.

  • Qosmio G30: Conflict between the audio driver Sigmatel and Vista SP1

    Hello
I have a laptop Qosmio G30 PQG32E and impossible to move to Vista SP1 because the driver Sigmatel (6.10.5462.0) is in conflict with the service pack.
As some of you may know, there is no Sigmatel and IDT who bought them is so say nonexistent, saying to contact the OEM directly to drivers updated.

Is there a plan to upgrade the audio driver?
There are huge memory leaks in my case from the audio driver.
If you use Photoshop or Premiere Pro, the audiodg.exe process consumes 800 MB and more after an hour of continuous work.

I hope for an update driver stable and more stability of the SP1.
    I am a dreamer?

The problem is that the final version of Vista SP1 is brand new and it may happen that some drivers don't support this new service pack.
In this case the driver needs to be updated.

If you will not find the latest version on the Toshiba page then maybe you can find it here:

    http://www.IDT.com/?ID=3969

In any case, the solution is the update driver and sooner or later, the update will be available.

    Good bye
