  This new information suggests that there may be a problem with the security setting in the router flat.

  Do you know how to get into the router to reset the password?   Assuming that the router itself is secure with a user id and password, you will need to know that.  I can't help you with how to reset because these instructions are different for different routers.  You may be able to get help by contacting the manufacturer of the router service.

  I have an Aspire 5741 and the wrieless does not work.  I've updated the BIOS and that is has not yet fixed the problem.

  It's my 4th factory reset and it still won't connect to my router.  Network troubleshooting does not resolve as well.

  I checked the Acer site and the driver for the cars of the network is the same as installed.

  Any suggestions?  I'm stuck.

  so I'm having to V3-771-6601 laptop which I bought in the US 2 years ago. I have some kind of virus which was activated immediately after the sign in. Some photos of Interpol appears and they wanted to charge a fraud or something like that. I tried to press CTRL + ALT + DEL to task mngr, but the virus won't let me. So I entered in safe mode and saved all my valuable information. The laptop has windows 7 Home Edition. I decided to install W7 Ultimate RTM. So when I was doing that, I formatted ALL partitions that I saw on the screen. After that i have PXE boot problem. I realized that I need to connect my lan cable. Ok. After that the computer does not start, it shows just acer splash screen and immediately restarts again and again and again. I tried to click ALT + F10. At the bottom left, I saw "switch to erecovery" or something like that. After pressing alt + f10 there is a '_' in the upper left corner, and the Frank is frozen. So I can't even boot to see victory logo, even I can't return my phone to factory settings. Just to note I have no CD with my PC, only the power chords and that's all. The House of win 7 was already languages. Please guys help me how to fix my laptop.

  Well, you could have done your own recovery discs when you bought your PC!

  I agree that it is a shame that you can't get a copy of the disks where you live!

  If you are happy to have a cracked version of Windows, it is to you. Even if you can open a Pandora's box, we'll agree disagree on the question

  As for the problem of button, it could be a sign of a faulty keyboard or it could be a software problem. A few copies of cracking are so changed, it could be an error in the code!

  You can try and run a Linux live disk to see if it happens there. If so, then the keyboard will be replaced.

  Hi, I reset my computer to factory settings by Acer Recovery Manager, which worked perfectly after the removal of some distributions additional linux and grub, etc.. But I was unfortunately a bit too fast at cleaning my new installation and I was able to remove the wireless driver which I CAN'T find. Then, someone knows where I can get the right driver for my Aspire 4810TG (No. wireless P4LJ0), whether a link where I can download the driver THAT I should choose to 'Browse my computer for drivers' or it-option? I tried the obvious options, like driver Acer support downloads and other driver pages and chose the most obvious "go, but none are just...." If it is possible I would not reset my computer again... It would be great if anyone out there has had the answer! Thank you, Daniel

  It's a desktop PC.

  They are not normally active wireless.

  Normally, you will need to buy a wireless card or a USB Dongle of Wireless to do this.

  I recently updated my Windows 8 - Aspire E1 - 522 to 8.1 Windows and now I can't connect to TKIP encrypted networks.

  I have even tried to manually create wireless profile, but does not give an option TKIP for encryption.

  I tried to install that recent driver built Atheros directly to anything did.  From what I've read on the internet until now, I'm afraid that Windows 8.1 has actually withdrawn TKIP as an encryption option.

  This is necessary because my college uses TKIP with their wireless network.

  The problem has been resolved without restoring the system to 8.0.

  Had to install drivers Atheros to build versions, versions not Acer or Microsoft.

  A reboot is required after installing the drivers.

  Note: The option for TKIP is still not available, but when you connect to the network it will automatically connect using TKIP encryption at authentaction.
