  Hello, I have an Acer Aspire V5-552 portable it recently does not connect to internet in my apartment, the convenience store said that there is something wrong with the router, but all other legacy with her work.   This new information suggests that there may be a problem with the security setting in the router flat.

  Do you know how to get into the router to reset the password?   Assuming that the router itself is secure with a user id and password, you will need to know that.  I can't help you with how to reset because these instructions are different for different routers.  You may be able to get help by contacting the manufacturer of the router service.

  I installed a program (blackberry desktop) then uninstalled when it would not work properly. Win XP then stopped working normally. I went around and the machine froze. Finally found through searches using another machine that MS has disabled XP even if April 2014 hasn't happened and it can still be extended. I have DBANed the hdd aspires to despair and of course "restore" is finished now.

  Now, I need a new operating system and understand that Win 7 is available as a replacement for Acer for $19.

  My problem is that I can not understand how to order online at Acer. I'd appreciate if someone will point me in the right direction. The machine is registered with Acer, as is the one I use now.

  They are not normally active wireless.

  A look at the "front" face, under the lip of the keyboard, similar to where a lock would be on a laptop. There is here a cursor that is not a lock, but it is a switch that activates / deactivates him wireless on and outside. • Wireless connection drops after 10-20 seconds on Acer Aspire V3-572 - 56T 3 running Windows 8.1

  I have big problems with the network connection Wireless at the office. He sees the network, allows me to enter security credentials, then connects (with connectivity internet confirmed) but gave up after 10-20 seconds. I tried the wireless network to a friend who worked ok without interruption, is certainly nothing wrong with the hardware. I use a brand new Acer Aspire V3 - 572 - T 56, 3 on Windows 8.1, with all the latest drivers/patches loaded and tried to juggle with many advanced settings for the card of network without success. I connected the router to make sure that all the settings, encryption standards, channels etc was corresponding, but the problem is persistent. It has been going on for two days now and is driving me crazy because I really need to work in the office with wifi band. Plug an ethernet cable directly into the router works fine, but it is not the ideal solution (and poses a danger OH & S that he throws on the ground). Can someone help pleeeease!

  Go to the device, click Manager right on the wireless, then click on disable. When you want to use the wireless go back and click Activate.

  As above: Some Acers also have a wireless connection, button on / off, so make sure it is not disabled there. I'm not sure if your model or not, but check to see if it is disabled there. It may be "Fn" + "F key" or a real hard switch (that I had on my Acer).

  I know that this LAN update fixed a few problems of the people in the past who had problems of compatibility with the Acer Aspire 5552-7474, then perhaps you can try try this.

  I can't update my netbook. During the Windows Update 10 WHEA 8.1 (blue error screen) error message and 8.1 windows is reinstalled. I tried several times with different USB drives external used to expand the capacity of the system.

• Cannot enter BIOS or Option of Boot to display on my desktop Acer Aspire M3450

  For the last few days I tried to access in the BIOS or The Boot Options screen by pressing the keys with " DEL " for BIOS and ' F12 ' to The Boot Options screen. Same pressing down both keys on my keyboard and switch to normal startup with Windows 10 logo screen and then type password. I'm sure you know that this office is not supported for parameters of the UEFI. I tried with Settings\Update and Security-Advanced Options- then have 6 names on the double column , but I'm not sure that one to take to solve the problem. Here are the 6 names below:

  System Image recovery

  Startup Repair

  Command prompt

  Startup parameters

  Go back to the previous version

  Everything what I wan tis to solve two things by pressing the ekys for BIOS and the Boot Options screen. That's all that I need it. Or I need to reinstall the entire disk operating system Microsoft Windows 10 Home Premium 64?   Either way, my computer's desktop Acer Aspire M3450 game.

  It's a good thing I do not get out the my desktop's CMOS battery. Someone I know told me I 'Try to change the keyboard' Guess - it works now. The USB keyboard that I just bought does not work so I went back to the wireless keyboard that I used all the time. So now my problem is solved.

  Can I ask a question - why doesn't the USB keyboard support to accept that I press the key after the reboot for BIOS or Boot Display Options? Hope that someone here in this forum will answer for that.
