Assign shortcut keys

Is it possible to assign some shortcut keys in Theme Studio? I'm looking to assign an application to the space bar, and I couldn't find info on how to do that.

Thank you.

Must use composer to do this to make a SVG file.  It's actually quite easy, create a blank page and create the shortcut key action.  Save, export to SVG and load in the theme.  Fact!

  • BlackBerry smartphones cannot assign shortcut key!

Hi, I use the blackberry "BOLD" with AT & T. So whenever I press the 1 key from the home screen, instead of composing the starting number, he goes to the media net browser which is very annoying. Since I live in the United States, I press 1 then the number e.g. 13103334399 n then I save the number in my contact list... But since 1 gets me to medianet browser I can't do more... Anyone know how to change or reassign the keys?

Have you corrected pressing and holding 1/w key to dial? You have membership enabled Homescreen.

On your BB, press the green button of the numbering > Options > General Options > dial Homescreen = Yes, then SAVE.

Now you should be able to press the 1 key to dial.

  • .Lnk shortcut keys assigned are not respected on reboot

I like the keyboard shortcuts to common tasks/functions assignment (don't we all?). However, I noticed a distressing problem in which shortcut keys assigned to .lnk files are skipped during restarting and must be reassigned to work again. For example:

Today I tried to "C:\Windows\System32\scrnsave.scr" a .lnk and assigning the shortcut 'Ctrl + Shift + Alt + D' to quickly screen in white. This combination of shortcut keys worked brilliantly until the system has been reset, on which the combo shortcut is more worked except if I reassigned it.

I also tried several months (years?) there is to assign "Ctrl + Shift + '" in Process Explorer (an alternative inheritance to Task Manager), but there again, the shortcut never stuck after restart and I finally gave up to on that. "»

The only shortcut keys combination that never stuck has been assigned "Ctrl + Shift + Alt + X" to capture tool. The only difference in the example above, it's the .lnk file resides on a partition of the BONE (in the "All Users" Start Menu to be precise), so the other two .lnks reside on non-OS partitions.

Any ideas why a concrete example continues to work while others fail to survive a reboot?

  • Slow shortcut key

    Hello

This is my first question I ask here, I hope that I have to do everything right.

I use Windows Vista and has created 3 shortcut keys for my most important shortcuts.
Shortcuts are placed on my desk and I assign shortcut keys: CTRL + ALT + F1 (F2, F3)

If I press on one of these combinations, it takes about 20 seconds to open the shortcut (the shortcut is only one file, not a program or as sth.).
While Vista "opens" the shortcut, I can't switch from windows or access the start menu. The whole system crashes.

I think that this is not normal and should not be like that.

I have 2 GB of RAM, Intel Core2Duo (6420), an index of performance of 5.1 and I have disabled aero.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

    Frank,

We would like that you try to start in a clean boot environment to see if this problem is related to the interference from other services / programs.  Please go through the following steps to perform a clean boot:

    1. Click the start ORB, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER. (If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.)
    2. On the general tab, click Selective startup.
    3. Under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
    4. Click the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
    5. Click OK.
    6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
    7. After the computer starts, check if you receive notification of the optimal resolution.

If you do not have the problem while your computer is in clean boot mode, a background program probably causes interference. You can try to determine which background program is causing the problem when the computer is in clean boot mode.

To find the process or program to cause follow the beginning steps to enable half of the points of service, in the following article:

How to perform a clean boot procedure to determine if background programs are interfering with a game or a program that you currently use

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/331796

When you are finished stable, restore your Normal startup:

    1. Click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER. (If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.)
    2. On the general tab, click Normal startup.
    3. When you are prompted, click on restart.

Please let us know the results when you are finished with this test.

  • Record an action and assign a shortcut key F1 (Photoshop CC 2015)

I want to record a very simple action and assign a shortcut key F1.

I record the action and choose F1, but it does not work.

The action works if I play but not if I press the F1 key.

    It going to be fixed?

I use the CC 2015 (trial!) version and it is not a good sign when I think to buy it.

Its been a while I have used a Mac, but I'm pretty sure that the BONE protects the function keys. To override the F1 on a Mac, you must hold down the "fn" key and press F1, which I think then behaves like a normal F1 press. Try to start your action by pressing fn - F1.

It might easier to choose a shortcut different keyboard for your action.

  • How to use a keyword in pictures shortcut key

I've added keywords in Photos using the "keywords Manager» I selected the "Edit keywords" button and then assigned shortcuts to these keywords. For example, given two keywords (Tom, Joe) I added the '1' Tom key and '2' for Joe key. How I can use these shortcut keys to assign keywords to pictures? Help system Photos was of course worthless as long as all the apples help is. I don't understand how you can ad contribute to an application and leave out half the menu items. Apple is terrible!

The key word handle must be opened for simple working shortcuts.  You can simply move the side of the road and use shortcuts to apply a keyword to the selected photos.

  • Question of shortcut keys in Word on Satellite A110-195

I recently bought a new Satellite computer and installed Windows Office purchased separately. For some reason, shortcut keys, I've used for years on other computers are different on the new machine.

For example, I've always known 'save' to be CTRL + S. On this computer, now is SHIFT + F12. I am aware that I can change the settings of each key individually, but surely there must be a way to change the settings somewhere on the machine to return to more conventional keystrokes.

I have been searching around the internet for some tips on how to do it but came up with nothing.

Anyone out there able to help?

    Hello

    It's very strange and inexplicable
I never heard that the shortcut keys may change the feature itself.
I have also studied a little, but I was not successfully ;(

I've just found this review of Microsoft:

  • Satellite C50-A133 - language bar shortcut keys keep reset automatically

    Hello!

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite C50-A133 with 8.1 for Windows 64-bit (the system of English UK language) of the United Kingdom. So far I have not had major problems with Windows 8.1 but an annoying problem keeps coming back.

There are currently 12 languages/installed input methods, which some I have assigned shortcuts keyboard, Ctrl + number or Ctrl + Shift + number.

After the system boots, they work fine, but after a while becomes disabled without me aware to have done anything to turn them off. The only thing I can do is to open the menu language preferences and assign shortcuts again.

They disappeared in the menu language of shortcut keys, specifically each shortcut that I put has changed 'None '. This happens after a while little matter what I use the computer for.

Restart the system always back to my settings shortcuts but working with computer for a while turns them off. I use Avast, Malwarebytes, Auslogics BoostSpeed and Windows Defender regularly, as well as CCleaner at startup. I don't think it's one of these the origin of the problem, as happens when none of them scan as well. Using the Windows key + tab bar to change the input language works very well also.

All languages are displayed and can be activated in this way. It's just the shortcut keys that keep disappearing. It is not a huge problem but can be troublesome when needing to switch between 2 or 3 languages quickly without having to scroll through all 12 of them. If someone has had this problem and is there a way to fix it?

I have already explained this problem to Microsoft.
They had no solution that worked and he suggested, it was a hardware problem and I need to contact Toshiba instead.

    Thank you!

To be honest I don't know if I understand your problem, but I know first boot after laptop computer purchase, you can set the keyboard input language and that s it Mr. of course you can also change it and add some other input languages.

To me, it seems crazy that 12 languages are available as installed services. Who did this?

Can you please tell us how it all started? I mean I guess you use UK layout only and English as an input language. The problem with 12 languages seems crazy to me. Have you tried to change something? Have you tried to delete all the other languages?

Hardware problem? I don't know what think of Microsoft on this issue, but there is a simple way to check this. Reinstall the original recovery image and check how it works with the factory settings.

  • Shortcut keys does not work on Satellite L755-18Z - Windows 7 64 bit

    Hello world

I'm trying to start an application by pressing a combination of shortcut keys assigned, but nothing happens.
Maybe it has something to do with some of the TOSHIBA utilities installed on the laptop?

Hmmmm... custom application? You know that Toshiba doesn't support third party software?

Sorry, but I think that no one here can help you. If you have problems with Toshiba related things, we can chat about it, but the use of some custom applications can not be supported.
We don t know what you use on your laptop.

  • Go reference on note shortcut key?

I've been Googling for shortcut keys to use exhibitor and clues on my notes, and all the world says it is cmd + ctrl + the + or - key, but it does not work. When I went to edit/fonts part and verified manually options baseline, it is more shortcut keys assigned. Is it possible on this subject? It is a real hassle to select manually change exhibitors when taking notes in class.

  • No Power Manager on T450s shortcut key?

I installed a X 220 to a T450s, and I see that there is no shortcut key to select a profile for more power. This seems like a huge oversight. Windows 7 only allows its profiles of power native to be learned from its quick access tools (battery icon in the tray of the taskbar or menu of the Windows key + X). Now if I want to use one of the Lenovo power profiles (which are much more customizable than the native Windows ones), I have to make visible the toolbar of the Lenovo Power Manager in my taskbar so you can double-click it and wait for the application of Power Manager to launch. So I can select a profile, 'apply' the selection and close the application.

I'm used to switching several times power profiles per day depending on whether I use the laptop on battery on my couch, use it to compile the code on AC power at work, or the half dozen of other situations. Is it possible to install the old app hot-switch selection of profiles of power on this machine and map a keyboard shortcut to this? (I'd be happy to give up some of the unnecessary shortcut keys such as "OS Search" (F10) and 'Switch Window' (F11).

The executable power profile switcher is C:\Program Files (x 86) \ThinkPad\Utilities\PWMOSDV. EXE.

PIN in your taskbar or assign a hotkey (for example with AutoHotkey).

  • List of all Windows shortcut keys

    Hello.
I generally assign some shortcut keys for different applications on Windows. For example, I assigned Ctrl + Alt + I key to open Internet Explorer from anywhere in Windows, and similarly I assigned Ctrl + Alt + N to open Notepad. I also use many touches of shortcut within the Word application. My question is how to get a complete list of all currently enabled on my windows shortcut keys? I need what I know are the keys that are available to me if I want to assign a shortcut key for a new application.
    Thank you.

    Hi Medytrance,

Unfortunately, there is no way to find the currently enabled in the windows shortcut keys.

  • Themes and shortcut keys

We have two or three application that will define the shortcut keys. We have sporadic reports of customers that some 3rd party themes 'turning away' these shortcut keys and assign them to other programs.

For example, key sets the IdeaMatrix 'i' as a shortcut, but a specific topic (if activated) attributes this key to AOL Messenger. Setting the phone to the original tone of the 'i' theme to IdeaMatrix restorations.

Does anyone have any definitive information on the relationship between shortcut keys and themes? We want to solve this problem, if possible, or have an authoritative answer, when the question is raised.

A theme shortcut keys would negate those application.  And if more than one application uses the same shortcut key, the first application installed "win."
