  Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode.   I read answers to similar questions about the failure of the cutting tool.  I use the tool cutting regularly and I think it's a fantastic tool in Windows. I have Vista Ultimate and all my windows updates have managed: none were not installed correctly, and I did not install new programs or hardware.  It seems that Microsoft knows the snipping tool does not - why can't they simply provide an update patch to correct the problem, rather than make us do all the work.  I don't have to go through hoops of restorations etc to get something it seems work was broken by updates.  I'm about to go to a Mac.

  There is a known issue point to the file on Mac if you use a big screen (I think only 20 ' or more) or on a Setup dual monitor. It works very well on smaller screens.

  When I try to use the text tool, that it does nothing when I type even if the font size is 12, and the color is black on a white background, and then when I try to get out of the text tool a progress bar will appear that says "Record type" and the progress bar does not until 15 minutes later.   I found the problem! When I pressed 'File' > 'New' to make a new document, I typed in the 1000, but I'm used to the measures in pixels, not inches. The new facility was in inches lol. The Web was gigantic! Once I put it to a smaller size that the text tool worked great! I feel stupid, I over looked that.

  Functions of the screen saver and sleep depend on the computer to detect an idle state. An idle state is reached when the computer detects no activity on the system. Once reached the idle state, it must maintain a State of rest for the period that you define in the element.

  If you have any device connected to the system that periodically checks for a specific action, this device can cause the system to achieve or maintain an idle state.

  Some devices, such as a device of VOIP phone that checks for incoming phone calls is an example. If you have a MagicJack or any other similar device, try to remove them and check if this solves the problem.

  Another culprit is an e-mail or instant messaging program that periodically checks for new messages.

  I have installed PS CS 5 extended on a new computer with Vista Home Premium. Any other version of Photoshop has already been installed on this system.

  The problem I encounter is the eyedropper tools in the two curves and levels adjustment does not work. The real sliders seem to work fine, but clicking on a dropper and then a spot on the photo has no effect at all on the image.

  I encounter this problem when I run the 64 bit version of the program. It occurs only in the standard version of CS5, I need to continue to use because of plugin incompatibility with the 64-bit version.

  I checked what is obvious and ensure that the 'Preview' is checked, and that I have the correct layer selected!

  I'm sorry to hear that none of those things cleaned up the problem for you.  I am almost sure this is a video driver issue, and it is unfortunate that the latest version of the driver does not solve it.  As a general statement: the Intel GPU and OpenGL drivers are known to be problematic with Photoshop.  A good number of people with Intel GPU report a problem on this forum.

  Just to be absolutely sure...  You have disabled the drawing OpenGL, closed and reopened in Photoshop, and the problem remains the same?  Have you tried both ways after the release of the pilot?  Make sure and close and reopen Photoshop after the change is made.

  There is another thing you could try...  Clear preferences for Photoshop 32-bit.  Press and hold Ctrl - Shift - Alt immediately after you start Photoshop of its menu item or a shortcut.  If you're fast enough, you will be asked if you want to restore all of the default preferences.

  Is this a new problem with an old facility?

  Or a new facility and the Type of tool has never worked?

  What is the size of the image in pixels and resolution?  Something that sometimes happens is that people get the wrong units and I think they are pixel setting when it is in fact centimeters.  If you have a low resolution game, like the default 72 dpi, which can cause the tiny text, it might as well be invisible.  This is particularly problematic when the Type is set on Points.  To test simply do a new document with reasonable proportions.  that is 1000 x 1000 pixels, 300 dpi

  Another test is to select the text layer and use free transform, or zoom so you can see if you have a small bounding box.

  If this isn't the question and the text color is not the same as the background, then...

  First step is to reset the preferences.  (The relocation does not overwrite the preferences file).

  Also try resetting subject tools.

  Then uninstall Photoshop and use the cleaning tool before reinstalling.

• Sharing in the screen Messages does not work

  Does anyone know how to get the service (list) in messages to work screen sharing.  This function seems to have been overlooked by apple for some time now.  I can get the voice, text and video/voice at work just find the problem is screen sharing.  Everyone in my friends list and I are running 10.11.6.  I use the screen based on sharing successfully for 2010, but I noticed, he started to get progressively worse with each update of the OS, so far I can't see what the problem is to avoid its use.

  Someone in the community using the sharing feature more screen?  I want to tell screen sharing between the point of being able to manipulate another user (buddies) desktop and vice versa.

• Why the screen saver does not work in the two screens?

  I have a monitor connected to my laptop using the VGA connector.
  Laptop LCD is set as the primary display and the additional monitor is defined as the extended desktop. When the screen saver appears, it shows on the main screen. How can I make it work on both? (without setting the external display as a clone of the hand).

  I have problems of this kind.

  I have listed what I've done to illustrate how to reproduce this.

  My OS is win7 32 bit.

  The replication steps are

  1. start on OS with integrated display (it is the system of n. b.)

  2. attach the HDMI (external monitor).

  3. turn on the extended mode and HDMI monitor as the primary device.

  4. set the screen saver 3D to be active and preview.

  Screensaver 3D drawing now works on the main screen.

  the secondary monitor (built-in monitor) working with black screen.

  5. hot unplug a HDMI monitor.

  6. the display of the 3D screen saver is changed back to the built-in screen.

  7. BUT the drawing of 3D on the built-in screen screensaver is STOPPED (= NOT updated).

  8 move the mouse, built-in monitor escapes from the idle screen status (operating system is still alive)

  Is this an OS behave as expected?

• The eyedropper tool does not work on mac + wacom

  Well - spent months and yet no update. The eyedropper tool won't come color using a wacom + a mac... and when you do that with the trackpad is not always the same exact color. I don't understand why this has not been set. The problem with the wrong color lasts for years--picking the wacom/mac problem lasts for at least 6 months. Please... put some serious effort into your product AND support.

• The eyedropper tool does not work with a hue saturation adjustment layer

  I use PS CC 2014, and the problem I have is that when I have to use the eyedropper tool to adjust the range of colors affected by an adjustment layer Hue/Saturation, rather than selecting the color in the Properties window for the adjustment layer, use the eyedropper closed the window properties and change the foreground color in my palette.

  Here's the real hitch... the same thing happened to me at the school last night where a) the Mac is older and CS6 b) is always used.

  It's something with my user settings, to be sure, because the teacher logged into his account on the Mac I was using in the class test, and it worked for him. We have logged on my account and it still does work for mine.

  Any ideas?

  You have no 3D under the CCI layer. The end of 2 seconds 3D layers... None of the 3D, camera layers have no effect.
