  Prior to my upgrade to Firefox 3.6.3, there is an extension (addin) which allowed the new Windows Ctrl-N, and they began to the current page. The extension is not valid after the upgrade, it seems that 3.6.3 has an ability to Ctrl-N, but new pages begin now, always, to the "start" page

  I'm new to Mozilla Firefox, which seems more to a wall climbing of a learning curve. But I like it much better than the Google home page.

  • I use a Toshiba laptop and a Windows 7 system.
  • Mozilla Firefox start page has a Google search box in the middle of the page. The police in and around the box looks like a 4. Whatever it is, I can't see the words easily.
  • Click on the drop-down tools, click Options, click the content changed police 12 and clicked on OK. The police has not changed on the start page.
  • I went to the option advanced and not clicked the box to allow Web sites to use their own fonts, but that did not help at all.
  • Then, looked everywhere in the Google support site, but I couldn't find a solution.

  Perhaps using the word "police" in my research is my problem! I looked for a solution for well over an hour.

  Help, please! If things continue to go, I'm going to need an anti-depressant.
