  Each object in InDesign has an ID associated with an object, so that the next time I can identify this object?

  I have a grid in my report, which is a registered object. So, every time I make changes to the registered object, changes are reflected in the grid included in my report.
  Is there a way to delete this association?

  Select the object en Studio (so it has the blue border);
  then in the view pane (right side of the screen) turn off the element:
  Link to the Source object

  -If the display pane is not visible, press F4 on the keyboard.

  After I had created an array of doubles for the original design, I've found that once the original object is modified, all copies are changed automatically thereafter.

  Is it possible to break the link between the original object and are copies of the transformation, so that the subsequent changes can be made on each individual copy?

  Change > separate attributes. This will give you the items as a group. The transform is more effective.

• How to keep link text fonts to change when it is associated with an object?

  Greetings.  Using Dreamweaver cs5 and would like help with a simple problem.

  I am discovered late text flash broke and if I change links in html format.  The problem is that when I connect text to an object, another web page, the police link the two changes of fonts and colors (blue).  I suspect it's maybe because I have an attached css style sheet.  I guess that means that I have to change the properties of the link of the page through the page properties, which I believe is supposed to replace the css stylesheet.  Appears not to be the case, I applied the changes and change of police remains.  What I am doing wrong?  Thanks for your help.

  Hi, I have a black text that overlaps in part with a black object - I was wondering how you get that portion of the text for folding (in white) reverse precisely in the areas of overlap? IE: allowing to read continuous (just change when it hits overlapping areas).

  1. the rectangle tool: drawing a rectangle. Give it a black fill.

  2. text tool: type some text. Fill with black.

  3. position the text so that it only partially covers the rectangle.

  4. Select the two objects.

  5. If, on Windows, hold down the ALT key. In the Pathfinder palette, click the icon to exclude it form areas that overlap.

  When on is a copy - paste in the diagram of an object in front, a new object is automatically created.

  If the fact a copy - paste of a local variable associated with an object en front, a new object is also created on the front.

  There - it a way to avoid it?

  IE to be able to copy - paste local variables in the diagram without adding to each time an object in the front.

  I wish I could duplicate areas whole diagram that contains the local variables without creating new object...

• Should Hyperic 5.8.4 create automatically relationship the computer object virtual vROPS?

  I installed Hyperic 5.8.4 and deployed an officer to a MS SQL VM.  Hyperic discovered, I added it to the inventory, and vROPs sees the various OS and VM, including SQL applications.   However, the Windows operating system and apps are not associated to the object vROPs vSphere VM.   Should Hyperic create automatically a relationship between the VM discovered Hyperic and vROPs/vSphere?  If so, what might be missing?

  I just thought the screenshot you sent me, and I think it's just HOW you are looking at it. If you are using the troubleshooting > the metrics tab, you will see Hyperic relationships. You probably don't have your relationships build properly.

  Create a dashboard with widgets of topology or relationships, and you will see these relationships actually exist when you look at the vCenter:VMs or Hyperic objects: Windows. Alternatively, use the tab relationships under Administration... you will see your virtual machines have child objects of the Hyperic agent type. If the data is there, it's just a matter of how you look at what it is what "seems" as if relations are not there (but they are).

• Search for available properties for an object of vSphere

  In vSphere client to an ESXi host, I can click on the 'configuration' tab and see a horde of properties.

  It would seem logical that I could see how they are all named in PowerCLI by running something like:

  Get-vmhost myhost | get-member

  However when I run the present, I see some things but not others.

  I see the property of 'model' issued by using get-member.

  However, the "Number of Service" field, which is located on the same window in vSphere client, doesn't appear as the property when I run "get-member.

  Is there an equivalent to "get-member" function that will show me ALL properties associated with an object?  Do you just to KNOW where these other properties are hidden?

  When you know what item you want, is there a reference online to easily find other properties?  Would be nice if there were a reference table that showed you in vSphere client as it appears, and what is the corresponding property powercli name and how to access it.

  What is the best way to quickly find how to report on the property of an object, when it is not displayed with get-member?

  You can only see the 'level 1' properties of the object with Get-Member.

  The cmdlet does not show you any recursively.

  You might have a look with

  Get-VMHost | Format-Custom -Depth 3
  

  That will show you properties 3 levels deep.

  An alternative is to use an editor that contains a decent variable Inspector.

  In this way, you can click on through all nested properties.

• Mapping script in VCO object type

  I am trying to build my own plugin. I exposed my java objects in javascript api of the VCO. (http://communities.vmware.com/message/2217337#2217337)

  But I guess that how I have defined it finders, the types are not associated with script objects.

  Here are the steps that I followed, please let me know if I missed something: -.

  1 defined finders in vso.xml for each object exposed to the format: -.

  When I find types to VCO in the search Api, and then types do not show associated in script objects. It shows FinderResult as the associated script object.

  Please let me know if Miss me anything because of which I'm not able to associate types with script objects.

  Well, it is exactly the need for intentory items, because now you have items that you want to pass between the elements of workflow (a store the workflow in attributes).

  However, if you don't want to put in place a fully blown inventory:

  Try to use the generic types 'ALL' or 'Properties' (if you want to create your own "struct") as the type of return to action and type for the attributes of workflow.

  Only drawback: there is no presentation available for these types, so if you use them to workflow input parameters a user cannot start them (a different workflow can always!).

  (To close the circle to understand: the finder windows opened to the presentation of entry of a workflow using the PluginFactory and the find() methods, so if you want them to, you must implement the finders and therefor an inventory fully blown)

  Use the following tcObjectOperationsIntf API method:

  This method is used to get the list of users who are associated with a specified object (implemented, off, on, etc.). If no filter is specified, it returns all the users who are associated with this object.

  Parameters:
  objectKey - this is the key of the resource object
  attributeList - a map of key-value pairs in which the result set should be filtered.

  When we try to open smart objects in Photoshop CC from the inside, they are looking for in Illustrator CS6. On machines where Illustrator CS6 is uninstalled, we get errors. All the associations of files in Bridge are set correctly. Is there a way to change the file associations for dynamic objects?

  Mounting objectrs smart uses the associations wide system, not those of the bridge, you will be charged for the *.ai file type.

• CF 9MX object Destruction

  Hi all.

  I am a new developer to CF (9MX) and were not able to Google for an answer to my question:

  How no one destroys an object such as a component object?

  Can I use < cfset foo = new bar() / > creating a new component object, but can find no references as to the way in which an object is destroyed (if it is still possible).

  I want to destroy an object when it is finished with it, and then create a new (which will have a different State valid base).  While I do not use many of them, I try to avoid the overhead associated with which objects that are no longer in use, while others are being created.

  ColdFusion automatically destroys the objects when they are more referenced. In your example, will do the trick if you want to do it yourself, otherwise it self-destruct when the request ends, assuming "foo" is in the scope of variables (even if it is explicitly scope your variables - .)

  In addition, session or application scope objects will destructs when application or session timeout occurs or make you disappear through a reallocation or by using structDelete().
