At the attribute level approval workflow

Hello
can someone guide me how to get the approval at the attribute level workflow.
IOM 9.1.0.1/2 supports the workflow for updating free profile but is not at the attribute level, & I need an approach
to achieve this workflow at the attribute level.
Thank you
Rahul Shah

It's for things OOTB (Self Modification profile).

    Hello

How to get the value of the attribute accessor in the script expression.

For example, I created the object of the entity for the employees table and created the accessor for job posting view. I need to get the jobs view accessor job description in the validation script expression. In the tokens of messages I can able to refer the accessor view using the following, but the same does not in the script expression.

  • Where should create user information be in the approval workflow?

I have created an approval workflow that is patterned after the Oracle DefaultOperationalApproval with JDeveloper 11.1.1.7.0 example. I am able to see the information of the applicant and request model information. This is the xml code that I can see from Enterprise Manager (11.1.1.7.0).

If you go here in the Oracle assets: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/id-mgmt/overview/oim-11g-assets-504842.html

There is approval workflow and a 11.1.2.0 example. It contains the final workflow that can be deployed. You can take this as an example and information out of it for your authorization custom which may help to recover what are necessary.

  • Use workflow to enter the value of the attribute

Hello, I have a workflow that turns off a virtual machine and it feeds and then turn it back on. He sent an e-mail if it does not power the correctly. Is it possible to insert the VM name which was the entrance of workflow in the value of the object or the contents of the email?

    Untitled.png

Something like vmname % do not restart.

    Thank you, Zach.

    The correct is

    content = vm.name + " did not reboot";

as it concatenates two strings - the 'name' of the object of type VirtualMachine property (the property type is string) with another string. Again, the result of this operation is a value of a string that is assigned to the 'content' attribute which is also of type string.

    This one

    content = vm + " did not reboot";

is incorrect as it attempts to concatenate a VirtualMachine type object with a string. What should be the effect of this operation?

You get this reference error because you have not added the input parameter "vm" tab within the script task . The code in a script task can run on attributes/parameters of the workflow that are explicitly referenced IN or OUT tab. those not referenced is simply not visible within the script task.

When you select an existing tab attribute/setting, you are not redefining you mark this attribute or parameter as visible and accessible in the script task. When you select an existing attribute/parameter ON tab, you mark this attribute or parameter as keeping its value changes after leaving the script task. In your example, you included the attribute of "content" on the tabs IN and OUT , which means you can use it in Javascript code inside the scriptable job and that changes you make to it (setting the new vm.name + 'is off') updates the value of real content and will not be lost after leaving the task scriptable element.

  • The list of all workflows pending approval

    Hello

I use Outlook as a front-end web and I would like to use a workflow to list all workflows pending approval.

I don't want to use the Web web-operator for this mode because it gives too much access in vCO and ideally would like a list of workflows as well as hostnames for approval (even if this bit is not necessary).

Can someone point me in the right direction for me start?

    Thank you

    Dave

HM, that seems to also not be there in Outlook.

If you want to stay with webviews, you could create additional actions which return the list you need, maybe even full html table.

But then you need to develop your own webview, which calls the action.

Another alternative: I think that all of the desired commands are accessible via the SOAP API, so you could create an "external" based on the desired technology web interface (which hopefully is Wavemaker course :-)).) But then you lose the easy submission of entrance for the Webviews :-( So this could only be valuable if you have a certain list of possible workflows and inputs limited in the interactions of the user...

as a combination, you might try to understand mora on the interactionURL of a workflow token and use that URL in a web interface 'external '. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of docs on this AFAIK.

  • Implementation of date deadline for the approval workflow step

Hello! I'm trying to set up the deadline for a date of approval workflow. I was thinking of using tokens, so that the user/author enters at this date (using the calendar tool) the custom metadata field, and then this value token can be used in the custom script iDoc in the case of update of the step.

Even if I found something similar in the documentation, I can't understand how to extract the date out of this custom field value:

    < parseDate (wfCurrentGet ("lastEntryTs")) $if < $ dateCurrent (-7) >
    DO SOMETHING
    < $endif$ >

I guess that dateCurrent-(7) will have to use my value of token instead of the value (-7)? But how can I configure the token for the date (I know how to user) and how to get here?

    Thank you very much!

It would not be a token, but just a reference to the field that contains the date value. Assuming that your custom date domain name is "xCustomDate", something like this should work:

    <$if parsedate="" (wfcurrentget="" ("lastentryts"))="">< parsedate(#active.xcustomdate)$="">
    DO SOMETHING
    <$endif$>

  • Difference between the approved & approval workflow

    HII all,.

What is the difference between approved & approval workflow?

    Appreciate your response

This is the user guide for the planning:

Approved: Occurs when the approval is selected. The administrator becomes the owner. Only
the administrator can modify the data or perform an action on the approved planning units. After
all the planning units are approved, the budgeting cycle is completed.

Signed: Occurs when Sign Off is selected. Only the current owner or administrator can
change the data or perform an action on the unit planning of which the State is approved. Property
does not change when a planning unit is signed.

    Hope it clarifies your point.

    =======

    (1) confirm if the workflow is personalized in some way.
    (2) confirm that you are able to select the global preferences for the other approval of invoices, meaning you are
getting the list of values for the other bills.

There is no customization of workflow. We strive to implement the AP invoice

Can you instruct me on how to test it? I thought I could only select global preferences since the workflow configuration window. And there is no distinction that invoice approval

  • Increase (or decrease) the authentication level using OAM user Plugins

    Hello

I have a scenario with 100s of applications protected by OAM. One of these applications, a portal, must grant access not only to all employees, but also a special set of users. These users live in a special subtree of my ldap repository. While these users have access to this portal, they should not be able to access any other application. All regular regular employee should be able to log in to the portal, and from there, go to any other application they want.

My current thinking is the "authentication level" value 1 protection plan portal, and use an OAM plugin to increase the level of authentication only for regular users. Y cannot apply the rules of pre auth because these users can come from any IP. Challenging users twice of credentials (authentication step) is not an option.

Now, here's my problem: I have not found a way by programming to set the level of user authentication. I tried to use the KEY_PROP_AUTHN_LEVEL parameter in UserAuthenticationPlugin, but it seems that it has no effect whatsoever. I also checked school directors and the attributes of the user credentials and there is nothing associated with this.

    Did anyone done this before?

    Thank you!!!

The authentication level is related to the authentication scheme. To change the level upwards or downwards, you will need to change to the plan with the desired level. If your plugin needs to amend the plan in order to change the level. Change the system basically will invoke the step to the top/bottom/workflow process and the user will be asked to re-auth.

We support only level section edition for GSM specifications, but I bet that you can use the extensibility of the user interface to lock sections on a company.
