Installation - the company - level Editing Section
Hello
Is the level of editing option available for installation extensibility and custom sections of company?
We have an obligation to company there where they change only a custom section no other attributes when the attribute of unit business factory away from approval. While I was looking at the level of the editing option section, but as I understand it, this is its only supported for GSM specifications and not for SCRM Specs.
Can you please confirm my findings.
Kind regards
Kumar
We support only level section edition for GSM specifications, but I bet that you can use the extensibility of the user interface to lock sections on a company.

Imported. MOV file is read in the very small edit section?
I have some footage of a camera flip video original that I converted a. Via Wondershare MOV file. I imported images in my first Pro CC and it reads back end/normal size in the preview area, however once in my edition track play almost 1/8 normal size (incredibly narrowed down into a small square).
Why is that happening and how can I solve this problem? The video is 640 x 480 (1.0). I guess I just need to understand how to "resize" or expand my pictures in Premiere Pro or a compatible program outside the first.
I'm completely deficit right now and I'm very stressed on this subject! Thanks for any help.
Hi katharineroman,
Do you have other clips playing in the HD size sequence? If so, right-click (Ctrl click on Mac) on the element in the timeline panel and choose "Scale with the size of the image."
If all the clips of this size, make a sequence that corresponds to the size of the clamp. right click (control click on Mac) on the clip, and then choose "new sequence of the Clip.
Thank you

MARIANAMariana,
Please confirm if you try to configure the siebel server in the same machine as the gateway server. If so try to use localhost instead of the hostname of the machine setting up Siebel server.
I assume you are using windows 2003 as the operating system.

How can I add changes in a file of Muse after I already pushed to my domain I bought through GoDaddy using the FTP server directly. I'm not BusinessCatalyst and I don't want to. How can I make changes directly from Muse and then direct update to the site? If this isn't an option, how I add administrators browser edition. I have in the browser active editing on the site, but which is insofar as it allows me to get. He actually let me add someone to do or give me a way.
You can change/update the site directly from Muse through the option publish to publish the Business Catalyst select drop-down list and choose the url for the site.

Section headers in the wrong after editing pages
Hello, I have a document with a marker for the section on the master page; and there are 23 sections in my document, each "start the new section" checked on the first page of each section, with each section name typed in. But when I add text or change the font size, the sections begin is no longer in the right pages. Is there a way to link the start of new sections to the text (on the first page of each section) itself? Or y at - it another way around this problem? Very much appreciated.
A section is the property of a page, so you cannot link the text sections.
In the case where the text will be reinvested, or if you do not have your sections broken up by page breaks he recommended to use text Variables. If you have your section names in your document in a single paragraph style, you can have them appear in the header of the footer by following this document on creating headers and footers.

Combo / twisties in the master page footer section?
HR 2015 (12.0.3.428)
Windows 7 64 bit
CHM output
How to make scrolling text or twisties work in the footer of a master page section?
We try to add drop-down text menu / twisties in footer of each topic so that our clients can access company, product, technical support of any subject information. To do this, the most logical is to change the master page and add content in the footer.
We have these main sections:
Contact the Doc Team
Documentation PDF
Support links
Information about the company
Product information
Here is roughly what I want to be like him once that the user he develops:
Contact the Doc Team
Send your comments
Documentation PDF
Readme file
Manuals
Support links
Technical support
Forum
Regional office
Information about the company
Address
Web site
Product information
Name of the product
Version
Web site
But when I open the master page in the main editing view, the ability to add the drop-down list feature is grayed out inside HR.
I tried to create the footer drop-down content in a separate test topic and then copy and paste directly into the master page. HR removes such content from the minute I'm trying to save him, leaving only the related topics. Example of text that is deleted:
<? HR-droptext_start class = "droptext" id = "POPUP542020552" style = "" display: none; '? " >
< class p = "footerpar" > Readme.pdf | < a href = "#" class = "footerlink" > LINK
HERE < /a > < /p >
< class p = "footerpar" > printable manuals | < a href = "#" class = "footerlink" > LINK
HERE < /a > < /p > <? HR-droptext_end? >
Are there workarounds to accomplish twisties on a section of the footer of a master page without using an external .js file?
I may try a road .jquery if I can't get HR to behave, but would like to just use the page master itself without other files.
I finally got drop downs working inside a .hts which is then inside the .htt footer section.
I discovered that the problems in the CSS I posted in the pictures above are attributable mainly from my own CSS problems.
However, when I tried to add images twistie, bad new...
Twisties are all or nothing in RoboHelp. You apply all the drop Downs or None.
That won't work for us, since our footer is a background more dark.
So I created my own downfall personalized stockings with jQuery and CSS.
And they worked!
Well well, mostly...
Long story short: it has been a painful week and the other half, mostly spent trying to get this .hts of footer to the appearance and behavior of the way I want it too in my chm. I had to do a LOT of trial and error and additional testing to figure out something that works.
Things I've learned:
- Square pegs can go in the round holes with a lot of hammering and a lot of mess.
- CHMS are old. They are not easier to work with when it comes to the use of styles. Many things are not taken in charge you can do in a normal browser.
- Under the hood CHMS use IE 7, so you have to use CSS that matches that version.
- You can work around some limitations that HR requires using methods and tool parts.
- Use a repository. If you make a mistake or fall a path that you want to cancel or put on the shelf for later, you can do it easily. (I'm really happy that I did. I could come and go between my revisions and see what the code worked and which did not easily).
- In a repository, use a test project that mimics your production project, including the folder structure, but on a much smaller scale you can do faster chm builds. (I got my footer to work Monday, but when I moved it into our real project, the footer did not work on CHMS in subfolders. So I had to build a workaround for this. I would have seen previously had I better imitated my directory structure.)
- Don't get so sucked into approach that you neglect other tools or methods that might be simpler. (I spent a good amount of time trying to get HR drop downs working in HR footer when jQuery, once I figured how to make, provided a simpler approach.)
Result of my footer (with custom twisties and drop downs in expansion):

Melted how audio and keep the audio level in clips later
I have piloted PE 10. When I add keyframes manually to fade audio output, or simply select the option ' fade out ' to fade at the end of an audio clip, the audio ends at the end of the clip and the audio of the following clips is to initial level. This creates a large discontinuity to the noise level.
What happens if I want to the next clip or clips to continue in the same faded audio level, rather than start at their original level.
In Pinnacle Studio, for example, when you fade down audio, all audio to the right will be adjusted to match the level after the fade, as long as there are no keyframes forward of this final key-frame fade. Now that I'm getting 10 EP, I'm bored of this behavior.
In PE10, there is a sequence of keys which allow this behavior?
If you have only one or a few Clips, where you want to reduce the Volume, I do so at the level of the Clip and simply adjust the fixed effect (appears automatically on all the audio Clips), and add keyframes to adjust the Volume.
I find it easier since the effect controls panel, accessible by selecting the Clip you want to adjust, and then in the effects tab, choose Edit effects.
Lets say you have a Clip, where the majority of the Volume is just, but there is a section where you want to turn it down. Go to where you want the Volume to start to get lower, add a keyframe (toggle ON keyframes), then go to where you want the Volume restore the main value and add another keyframe. At this point, nothing has changed, but you added two key frames, which "held" the Volume at the current level. Now, go where you want the Volume to its lowest, to the right of the first keyframe that we added. Add another. Adjust the level to this keyframe (now the second in the Clip) to what you want. Go where you want the Volume first on the rise, just before the second keyframe that you added (now third), and add another keyframe. Adjust so that it matches the Volume you settled in what is now the second keyframe. You will have four key frames: the first, one that keeps the Volume at the beginning of the Clip, the second, which allows to adjust the Volume to its setting, the third, which corresponds to the Volume of the second, then the fourth, keeping the Volume at the level of the initial until the end of the Clip. It will look like this:
Some like to do the with the "rubberbands" Keyframing in the Clip itself, but I like the effect controls panel.
In addition, keyframes that we added, are linear and if you want to adjust the Interpolation, the smoother changes just Rt-click on each keyframe, to adjust the Interpolation. Interpolation is a little abstract, so I suggest to read the help files on Bezier curves on keyframes.
Good luck

Can I display the battery level of the mouse on my desk at all times?
I have an apple mouse and I want to check the battery level of mouse frequently without open the system preferences application. Can I permanently display the level on my desk somewhere?
You may be able to view the status of the battery of a keyboard and a wireless Bluetooth mouse
from the inside (or bound by) Bluetooth icon that can be made to appear in the Finder
top right of the main window. The two items should be a little quicker to consult, through this path,
that to go into System Preferences > keyboard, mouse, etc.
Didn't see a third party application or widget that might show the remaining battery life
in the computer or external BT wireless an iDevice. There may be a.
A widget by name iStat Pro used to offer a way to see these items, but not in the last
version and the company that makes the excellent original, no longer exists as such.
Good luck & happy computing!

Hello!
I have a Toshiba Satellite L300-215.
Just installed Windows XP I went to keen on Vista. In any case I ve downloaded all the XP drivers on the Toshiba site. Everything works perfectly except the brightness level.
When I start my laptop to the top of the screen is at its maximum brightness that I then use the function hotkey special "FN and f6" to turn down the brightness of the screen. However once I have disable my laptop then restart it, the brightness goes back to the maximum level again...
Any ideas how I could prevent the brightness that goes back to max?I read that it s a particular order I should install the utilities and drivers from the Toshiba website for windows XP?
The ideas and help in what order?See you soon
Hello
In your case, I'd install the Toshiba Power Saver. This Toshiba tool is really great because set you the brightness of the screen for different profiles (full power, normal, etc.) and there you can adjust the brightness of the screen. In addition, you can change the method of cooling, the performance of the processor and to this day.
Check it!You can download the energy on the Toshiba page saver. I also have a Satellite L300 with Windows XP and everything works perfectly.
Here's the order of installation for Toshiba tools, they control the FN keys, etc. :
Toshiba Common modules
TOSHIBA Hotkey Utiliy
Utility Toshiba Touchpad on / off

Check the ink levels HP 4215 with windows 7?
I bought a new desktop computer with Windows 7. Old unit was Windows XP. The installation disk supplied with the HP 4215 printer does not support Windows 7. But windows 7 OS has the inbedded of drivers so I'm able to use HP 4215.
Drivers are limited to functions for this printer. No "HP Director", no kits, no way I know to check the ink levels is graphically on the screen, or an impression on.
HP offers that print "Self Test Page" using the printer panel keys. The only Self Test page that can be printed is the 'Self Test report'. Who only give me various technical info and prints 4 large bars of color. It does not print the ink levels!
HP.com says he should appear on a page of paper, ink levels. Nope! Can not get to do.
Someone first hand experience in the visualization of the level of ink for 4215 HP with Windows 7?
Thank you.
Hi printer123xxx,
Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! Yes you are right, you have some basic functions of the printer now, as for the self-test page that can be printed from the control panel this unfortunately does not include the estimated ink levels.
I would like that run you HP print and scan doctor- it was designed by HP to offer users the features and troubleshooting problem needed to solve many common problems experienced with HP print and scan the products related to Windows computers.
The PSDR does not include the services of printer that may be just what to check the estimated ink levels, I can't guarantee that it works, but it has an option of ink level.
Please let me know if it worked for you, I'll watch for your reply.
Thank you

How to reduce the brightness of the screen under the standard level
Hello!
How to reduce the brightness of the screen under the standard level in ThinkPad T520?
I think we can somehow, but I don't know how. I reduced the brightness to zero with the Fn button + button end, but this is not enough, I want to make the screen darker, because my eyes get tired.
The last (from Lenovo) Intel graphics driver is here:
http://support.Lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/MIGR-77038This should provide a decent lower limit on the brightness. If the installation complains about the non supported hardware, force the installation using the devices and Disk Manager. (Something like this: http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/11997-have-disk-method-for-windows-7-vista/ )
If this does not work, try f.lux (https://justgetflux.com/). It has a dimming function software (of course, he loses the contrast).

Software license transfer?
If someone is selling his company and that the sale includes the company's computers, are legally transferable software licenses? It depends on the license - all software has its own license.
Regarding the license of Windows:
Selling used Windows

(B) If you have the retail version, you can sell but to follow the EULA says:

The first user must remove the software before transferring it separately from the computer. The first user may not retain all copies of the software.
b. Windows Anytime Upgrade software. You can transfer the software directly to a not third parties only with the licensed computer. You can't keep all copies of the software or any previous edition.
c. other requirements. Before any transfer authorized, the other party must accept that this agreement applies to the transfer and use of the software.
