  I can't place what could happen, but when an application opens finder, it's showing only "peripheral" and then only the Macintosh HD under that. There is nothing in the sidebar.  However, when I open Finder itself, I get a full complement. Favorites, devices. tags, etc.

  An example is when I open Microsoft Word or Photoshop to get a file or image. I have to navigate all the way from the top of the car to the location.

  Not sure how it got that way, but I want to get it back!

  What actually happened is that there is, as the OP stated, before advisement in Windows 8 delay as all the start-up programs are executed.

  It can be flown in the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Serialize\Startupdelayinmsec in the registry (including the set to 0, then the programs are executed immediately).

  It is the response that should come from Microsoft. Everything else is a rubbish - model answers that everyone make Microsoft look green, as if they a) don't know their own product and b) don't care even clients who need assistance.

  The Bing team should also be ashamed of this site as their best result. Google does not work.

  Since upgrading my Macbook Pro at El Capitan I had a problem where launch apps cause a 10-20 seconds of reel. Oddly, the application seems to start immediately (i.e. clicking on Safari immediately brings up the Safari window) but when demand becomes inadmissible and non-interactive with reel spinning for an average of 15 seconds.

  I ran repair disk such as suggested by some other items with no improvement. I used the console to collect newspapers while it happened between a launch system and Safari preferences and the only common element between the two seems to be the message, repeated three times.

  If you allowed anyone remote access to your computer (and you're talking about a computer since you mentioned iOS which is the OS for iDevices; computers run on Mac OS X), while no one knows what they were able to install. Assume the worst and:

  Notify your credit card company / bank of potential fraud

  Change your bank accounts and report your fly/fraud credit card

  Change all of your passwords

  And, finally, erase your entire hard drive and reinstall the OS from scratch using recovery or your original installation disks.

  I'm launching my application executable that was built with the Application Builder. I use framework actor and have a Launcher.vi which is defined as the start VI and launched the actor parent. When I run the executable, I can see the front Launcher.vi opens and closes quickly, but the main façade never opens. Where should I start to debug my executable? I went back and watched closer launcher for the example of master actor and I noticed the block launch actor VI didn't have "Open front actor Core" value true which seemed strange because the front opens correctly for this application. I searched in VI properties for the parent of project example actor Core.vi and saw that the appearance of the window has a custom configuration. The options to see the façade when called and then close while initially closed have been verified in the sample project but unchecked for my project. I also watched the run settings and saw that the example is configured to reentrant run clone Shared while my project is configured to run not reentrant.

I played with the run settings to see what those and noticed that when my VI is configured to not reentrant run, child actors do not seem to get started. In addition, the stop on my front button will close the front panel, but the application is still running. I also tried clone reentrancy pre-allocated to see what would happen. errors of launcher just immediately say the call by reference VI is not executable.

  When you use javaloader.exe to load your applicaions they do not appear in the list of applications.

  So that they appear in the applications list follow these steps:

  1. Download OTA via the jad file.
  2. Create alx file in JDE and use Blackberry Desktop Manager to load your application (with ApplicationLoader) via this alx file.
