  OK, here's my problem and I searched the forum and I see that others have the same problem with the firmware.05.  before we begin, I want everyone to know that I don't know how to set up my network and I am a professional network.

  My problem is on my xbox 360 with the Wireless N adapter.  I use to have the firmware.02 installed on my router and sometimes while on my xbox, I'd get a message telling me that the xbox live connection has been lost. I would then have to resign in xbox live and it would start working again, so I thought that the router might need a firmware flash, after searching the site of linksys, I could find the firmware.05.  I installed it and the installation went well, after that I installed it I reset my router by pressing the button on the back of it. I then reset all my IP addresses and port forwarding and the WPA key. Then, I put the router in mixed mode because I still G wireless devices to connect to my network like my android phones and my laptop, so that all the devices are now connected very well.  I then go to my xbox and put everything up, static IP address, manual settings for DNS. and guess what it does not allow me to connect to xbox live. I then start to do some research and find out that I'm not the only one with this problem. so I find a few posts on here say to change the MTU to manual and put in a number, I don't remember the number but I did exactly that.  then I tried to connect again and guess what xbox live still does not connect. so I do some research to see if I have the correct ports passed to my xbox and guess what I got all the correct ports forwarded. so I do some research more and found a post by someone who said that they changed the router Wireless N mode only and they said it worked for them, so I try and guess what it works very well. I even put the MTU back to automotive and it still works, I also tested with the xbox set to auto automatic DNS and IP address and it still works. but then as soon as I switch the router in mixed mode, it will not connect. It's definitely a problem with the firmware.05, so please if someone at - he found a fix for this issue allow the router to run in mixed mode and still have the xbox connect please let me know what it is. and please don't try to tell me to change my DNS in the xbox 4.2.2.2 and 192.168.1.1.  and please don't try to tell me to set the ip address of my xbox to 192.168.1.20 because my i put my IP from 192.168.2.1. I need a fix that works, or tell me how to return to the firmware.02

  to anyone who is having these problems with this router wrt110 with the firmware.05 I flashed my router for the firmware.02 and everything works again, I can run in mixed mode and my xbox connects, and all my computers and phones connect. If someone wants the firmware.02 you can d/l here.this will probably get removed by the mods here but here goes

  You updated Lightroom to version 6.5? This is the version you need. What is the exact wording of the message you receive?

• Toshiba UK - trouble with European warranty

  "I have a new Toshiba laptop with a valid European warranty, laptop broke down with a HW error on graphic card / display, so I contacted Toshiba UK request to fill the European warranty, the Envoy me ' some self called expert PC" which is the local expert refused to service my laptop and fulfill its contract with toshiba , but after that I refused to accept his totally ridiculous and likely completely illegal terms where there were literally pushing me to relinquish my rights guaranteed by law!

  Above all what probably makes it on a large scale, is the worst that anyone should be well aware, is that they ask the complete product, i.e. including * hard drive with all your data and in the service contract you sign who can erase your data and that you agree on that *.

  Transfer of real meaning when you buy toshiba products and it brokes down, you can either get free warranty service and possibly lose all your data or you will have to pay for the service by you own on product warranty... nice cheat!

  So now... here's someone from toshiba, which will explain this or you simply delete this thread?

  In any case, its a shame that you were not satisfied with the service.
  Generally if your warranty is valid, (Toshiba laptops, PC all-in-One, netbooks and tablets are covered at least 1 year standard warranty, valid from the date of purchase)
  all hardware issues must be fixed in terms of warranty and of course free.

  To be honest, it is nothing unusual, and sounds like a common procedure.
  The point is that the technician must recover the laptop using Toshiba Image factory (recovery disk) in order to set the camera back to the factory settings.
  During the process of recover the drive HARD will be formatted and deleted data.

  So very important to backup the data before this procedure!

  I think that this information and the details on the recovery media as well as the recovery process are in the user manual. So if you created the recovery disc in the past, you must back up the data before using the recovery disk.

  Rather strange, since the update videio says they will be uploaded with your update of the firmware. Hmm. I missed something?

  Anyway, (endto come and happy)... I went to http://slotradio.com and preview of ALL the card samples.  YUCK!  And to think I almost buy a...! I'm glad I took the time to investigate on - I just saved myself $39.99!

• Problem with the firmware of my E270V1

  I looked for a solution to my problem, but not been able to find one anywhere, so I post it here!

  Today, I got a Sansa E270 (6 GB).

  It seems to be a model V1. The firmware is 01.03.06P

  I would like to install rockbox on the player, but there is no way to put the player in msc mode. (No setting for this in the settings menu of the player)

  Then I tried to manually install a new version of the firmware in the recovery mode, but when the Player restarts after the update, it always says "Version 01.03.06P".

  Another strange thing is that the latest version of the firmware for the drive seems to be 01.02.24. This seems to be a lower version number than the version that came with my drive, although my version Date is August 2007, while the new Version of the site is April 2008.

  So here's my question: why Don t I a set of USB Mode in my player. How can I install a Firmware that allows the MSC support?

  Looks like you have the Hebrew Beta firmware installed on your device.

  On your Sansa v1 voltage and see if you see the animation Lil' Monsta at startup.  This little guy:

  

  The Sansa can accept good firmware, since it does not recognize the new valid firmware filenames.  What is needed, it's a simple renaming of files as described here.

  The pp5022.mi4 file needs to be renamed to firmware.mi4 and the second file should be renamed pribootLoader.rom

  Remember, these names are case-sensitive, and it only to do for this initial repair.  Subsequently, your e270 will recognize the standard mi4 and rom file names, if you want to reload or change the version of the firmware in the future.

• iXpand Flash Drive with firmware 4.4.7 and iPhone/iPad with iOS 9.2.

  I have 5 (!) iXpand Flash Drives (all updated with latest firmware 4.4.7) and have tried on iPhone and iPad with iOS 9.2. None of them are able to find the real or videos in folders on my iPhone/iPad, just the cards where the photo files and images video.

  Also - when you try to synchronize manually or automatically, a "red band" appears and disappears quickly on top of the window, telling me there's something does not.

  For me, as a novice by using this system, I find quite confusing to find a "Red Cross" in the MUSIC folder, when this "Red Cross" just lead you to a folder that contains pictures and videos and not relatet to any music at all. In other words, I don't want it 'plug and play', or how do to save/backup of photos, videos and music and perhaps a more detailed description of what are the terms backup/backup, images, videos and music, could save other novices like me some time she discover.

  However, thanks to your help, at least I am convinced now and look forward to start using the system. Thanks a lot again!

• Sansa Fuze 4 G v.2.02.28a wrong with gel, formatted and reinstalled the firmware

  My sansa fuze has been freezing since update firmware a couple of months.  Sometimes he would set himself, when I rebooted, but it gets progressively worse.

  Today it froze to the homescreen as usual, but I could not turn on after I restarted several times, after many trials, I could connect to my pc without the "rocket" freezing at the login screen. I decided to format it through my pc and I also reformatted it on the player as well. I have not reformatted it since adapting if I was trying to avoid having my deleted files. Meanwhile, I looked in the forums to apply solutions that have worked for others in the same situation.

  Here are some of my problems I think to make this kind of odd. Windows tells me is no longer a memory, internal and external, it reads the interns as F: drive and the external slot as drive G:

  Also, I have a napster to Go account that I use for a year now synchronized with this player and he wrote the unit (the "rocket") is not compatible, and I tried the update of napster to see if that was the problem, but napster has been giving me trouble since the new update with the firmware of the rocket. However, now I am not able to re - download my music files without paying the full price for one without a subscription.

  I think that the problem comes from the "rocket" as opposed to my napster account. Any information on this would be great.

  Have you tried switching USB (Settings/System Settings/USB Mode) mode to PSG?

  If not, why not roll back manually. Just unzip the firmware.26 and drop the .bin file in the drive of the rocket.

  After the last update, my phone (Samsung Galaxy S3) has problems with his phone for headset support.

  I can only use the headset as headphones to phone for calls. Do not go with general audio profile.

  OK, I just do a downgrade.

  I did a factory Reset on the helmet, downloaded "Update Services" and the program tells me that there is an update available, after the update has been completed I'm back on 0.1.D.0.6!

  I stupidly updated to a bad firmware. Instead of the firmware for the WTRG54GS I've updated my WRT54GS with the firmware for the WRT45G. :-(

  The router is accessible by the intellectual property and this firmware works on my router.

  But after this accident, my router does not update the firmware on the right.

  On the Web interface, I get when the firmware upgrade, the following message appears:

  "Upgrade are failed"

  With TFTP, I get the message "bad boss".

  Try the downgrade the firmware with a older version if it works, then upgrade to the latest version. You can find them here.
