ATI 3470 Graphics driver
First post time... any help any would be great.
I have a new T400 Vista 32 (I got the decision-making Lenovol...) and try to find a solution to work for 3470 pilots.
I looked around a LOT and that you have not found a solution. I tried a lot of different things, including latest switchable Lenovo drivers, ATI drivers (modded 2400 series drivers w and w/o catalyst), install integrated and discrete graphics drivers separately, with the BIOS for one mode or the other, etc. I either get a blank screen or a BSOD. I should have gotten in a month (when I got it) and it is still under warranty, but I still have to update the drivers on my new machines and was thinking that it would solve.
At this point, I'd be happy to spend just the graphics in the BIOS, if only I could get a stable system up. In my tests, I had to work for some time (using ATI latest version 11/09/09) and was able to see how much better, he manages the two games that I play on it (NBA2K9 and Tomb Raider Legends) - they look and play a lot with the ATI card.
If you have a working solution to use the discrete graphics on the T400, can you post exactly what it is?
I decided to stay with IBM/Lenovo for this purchase after searching for laptops, and I hope that I have not a bad choice. In integrated mode, I'm really happy with the way that it works/performance, battery life, screen (1440 X 900), however. I paid extra for the discrete graphics, so I tell myself "somehow" I should be able to use it effectively.
Whatever it is, if I take it, I'll post what they say or what, I hope, will be a configuration work that I'll be back.
Chris

Equium A60 keeps restarting after installation of the graphics driver ATI
I have installed the Toshiba ATI graphic driver, but when I restart the laptop, it does not start, keeps restarting before surposed to go on windows XP. Help, please.
Hello
Try please solve it as described on this Microsoft article http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=293078
Generally, the display driver installation should help. As you know sometimes it is not easy to fix this kind of problem and sometimes is much better recovery procedure.
You can not write about any common problem if you n t know exactly why this happens. If you are recovering the unit it will be working well. A negative influence on the graphic can have some games preinstalled or many other additional software.

Satellite M30x: Graphics driver ATI Catalyst to move
Hello
I've read another post about a person not being able to play a game because it cannot update ATI drivers. Now, I have the same problem. Half Life 2 has recently updated and since then, I need to update my gfx card drivers. However, the only driver I can install is the Toshiba one (on the cd). This helps not at all, because this driver is 2004 and I need to install the catalyst 6.1 or later.
I hope you guys have an idea on what to do! Thanks for reading :)
Hello
The fact is that the Toshiba drivers are designed especially for the use of the laptop.
The original ATI drivers are made for the use of desktop PC and cannot be used on the laptop. The use of any graphics driver Toshiba can damage the laptop.
I read that sometimes drivers graphic omega can solve graphic problems but if you use any other drivers you can do at your own risk.Good bye

Realtek HD Audio driver disappears after installing an ATI Radeon graphics card
My Realtek HD Audio driver disappears (the Vista "Sound Manager" and "Device Manager") and is replaced with an ATI HD Audio driver after you install an ATI Radeon 5450 graphics card. I tried to uninstall the ATI Audio driver and re - install the Realtek Audio driver. But, after reboot, Vista automatically re - installs the ATI Audio driver (and the Realtek Audio driver, which I have just reinstalled, is not where after the reboot). I use a HP a6110n desktop running Windows Vista.
This works! I would never have suspected that the problem was a BIOS setting. Thanks for the good advice!

ATI graphic driver constantly crashing on the satellite
Hi all, if this question is asked before, please accept my apologies and me directly to the answer.
I have a Toshiba Equium running Windows XP (sp 2) but there seems to be some kind of conflict with the graphics driver (ATI Mobility Radeon 7000 IGP) which forces the system to crash several times a day - sometimes at startup, sometimes it crashes just during the operation. The error message says that ATI Graphics driver got into an infinite loop.
I have the latest version of windows and the ATI updates but it seems to make no difference.
A trawl of the internet forums suggest that many people have had this problem, but nobody seems to have a good solution.
Hi Steve
The BSOD appears and it is said that the ati32dvag.dll of the driver is stuck in an infinite loop. Am I wrong?
I found also several threads on the infinite loop problem ATI graphics driver.
Especially, he arrived at the course to play games or run solid 3d applicationsLucky is right. You must install the graphics drivers from the Toshiba page.
If this does not help, you can try to use the drivers from the site omegadrivers.net -
XP need graphics driver for ATI HD2600 - Satellite A210
Hello
I have the same problem with the same computer. I can't use XP, because I can't find the right for my HD2600 graphics card display driver.
I have already downloaded the driver couple for my graphics card, but everyone working. When I run the Setup, it further warning with this text window "Installer not found driver compatible with your current hardware or your oparating system." I installed Windows XP Professional SP2.
I would like to move from Vista to XP, because Vista is real bulls... t (sorry for that Word, but I really don't OS like that stupid).
Thank youHello
One of my notebooks is an A210 with ATI graphics card and I was able to install XP.
I found the graphics driver on the European driver Toshiba page.
The fact is that many models different notebooks use the same graphics chip and if you're looking for a little then you would know that the driver ATI for other laptops would work on your A210 too.As far as I know this laptop supports the same GPU as your A210 models:

Windows 7 and windows compatible driver 8.1 does not work on windows 10, it installs successfully without any problem, but swtiching to high performance cause crashing of a game or multimedia player. I also tried the update of the driver through windows update, but it detects ati radeon 6470 m as series 7400 m ati and don't work at all, although please help me what to do.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the problem, that you are facing is that Microsoft provides only pilots with the most basic features and what you really need for these features in laptops is the specialized drivers written for the specific material found in laptops - and unfortunately, there is no HP Win10 laptop driver. HP only guarantees the compatibility of Win10 for machines manufactured after August 2013. HP is not no matter what timetable indicating when, or IF, they will produce drivers for older machines.
This means that your PC is probably NEVER going to be fully functional under Win10 because the pilots is needs for all features simply do not exist!
To restore all the features, you will need to do a reset to factory using HP recovery media to its original operating system pre-installed.

Hello.
Recently, I noticed that my laptop is unable to play Second Life without almost causing an epileptic seizure.
There is a strobe effect in the game, where it should not be a. The UI all strobes. The strobes on the ground. My brain racing.

You will need to look at the offers 3rd party. The site on the following link has helped a lot of people facing the same question as you, but I highly recommend reading the guide - especially to understand why Driver Signature Enforcement "must be diasbles to load these custom drivers.
From personal experience (Intel 3000 / ATI 7690 M XT under Windows 8), they generally work very well, but you can find a special version fits your laptop, better than the other.
