ATI graphic driver cannot install on Satellite L30 - 10V
Downloaded the driver from the website of Toshiba (psl33-xp-820300), but the installation comes with is not compatible with the graphics card.
Can you advise...?
Hello
It's very strange because one of my friends has the same laptop series L30 PSL33E and ATI graphic driver works and can be installed!
Could you please post the graphics card hardware ID?
You can find them in the Display Adapter details Device Manager.
By the way; It is a XP driver and if you have installed XP on your laptop, you must install the drivers of Toshiba in the right order.
See the installation instructions.
I expect your comments!

Driver R300 stopped responding - Satellite L30 - 10V
Every so often, driver R300 has stopped responding and automatically retrieves? Is this normal? Would like to know why this happens.
Thanks, Maz
Hi Maz
For me, this is not normal, but using Vista there are many other things that can be defined as not normal. Now, I don't do the thing on Toshiba specific stuff, but on the general problem of Vista. But we have no choice. Vista is here, and I hope it will be better and better.
Back to your question: if I understand right, you have some problems with the ATI graphics driver. Check please properties ATI Catalyst control center and all the settings there. I don't know with certainty what it can be, but please take a look and do some tests.
I hope that you will be able to run well again.

HP G6 1201TX Intel Graphics Driver cannot install
I checked for an update for the graphics card Intel from my laptop.
Mobile version: 8.882.2.0
Version of the HP support site: 8.15.10.2559
Version of the Intel Support site: 9.17.10.3347
I use a HP G6 1201TX running Windows 7 64 bit on a processor Intel Core i5 2430M.
There is also an AMD Radeon 6470 M GPU.
The site is recommended to use the OEM support Intel driver.
But when I tried to install the driver of HP, I got an error message saying "this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software."
What should I do?
Hello:
You cannot update the Intel driver when you have switchable graphics.
Setup fails because if you manage to install the updated Intel HD driver then the switchable graphics do not work.
The pilot only you can and need to install is the latest driver for AMD graphics support page and the driver of your laptop.
Who installs the AMD and Intel graphics drivers for your laptop.

ATI graphic driver constantly crashing on the satellite
Hi all, if this question is asked before, please accept my apologies and me directly to the answer.
I have a Toshiba Equium running Windows XP (sp 2) but there seems to be some kind of conflict with the graphics driver (ATI Mobility Radeon 7000 IGP) which forces the system to crash several times a day - sometimes at startup, sometimes it crashes just during the operation. The error message says that ATI Graphics driver got into an infinite loop.
I have the latest version of windows and the ATI updates but it seems to make no difference.
A trawl of the internet forums suggest that many people have had this problem, but nobody seems to have a good solution.
Hi Steve
The BSOD appears and it is said that the ati32dvag.dll of the driver is stuck in an infinite loop. Am I wrong?
I found also several threads on the infinite loop problem ATI graphics driver.
Especially, he arrived at the course to play games or run solid 3d applicationsLucky is right. You must install the graphics drivers from the Toshiba page.
If this does not help, you can try to use the drivers from the site omegadrivers.net -

I have a Satellite L30 - 10V which I've updated Vista to Windows 7 (full version). I am now unable to read any CD at all. He thinks that all CDs are totally blank new CD
Anyone has any ideas what could be the problem?
Hey,.
> I have a Satellite L30 - 10V which I've updated Vista to Windows 7 (full version)
Did you do an upgrade or complete new clean installation of your version?Anyway, the drive worked during installation that you was not able to install Windows. So I doubt it s hardware related issue
In your case I would try to remove the upper and lower filters in the registry:
1.demarrez-> Run-> Regedit
2. navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
3. in the right pane, delete the "UpperFilters" key and delete the key "LowerFilters".
4.reboot. -

If I uninstall the ATI graphics driver, is it OK?
I read that there could be problems with the help of the automatic update to install the graphics drivers? That's what I used. In any case, I intend to uninstall my ATI graphics driver and reinstall it in the hope of fixing the problem of sleep.
I want to just make sure: is it OK to just uninstall the graphics driver? The screen still works? I guess there will always be a standard video driver from microsoft so the screen should work again right?
See you soon.
There is no problem by uninstalling the ATI graphics driver and a video driver included with windows will be used as a Standard VGA driver or something like that. So it's not like you'll get a black screen after a reboot.

Hi Matt
Have you tried to search this forum for more information?
There are many discussions on models of different laptops and I sure that you might find interesting and useful discussions on the HDD for L30 m.For example, I found this thread:
http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?MessageID=88214The guy said that a 120 GB 2.5 SATA HDD was possible.
I think you could use a bigger HDD as only 120 GB, you can try a 160 GB if you want.Cheers mate

Please see this http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=23346
You will find where you can download the zip file with the drivers A200. I downloaded this file and Intel graphics driver is here. I'll try to test with my A200.
BTW: your laptop obviously shared graphics memory card. Sorry, but with this graphics card you can not expect great graphics performance.

I have a satellite A60 and I've had it for a year, and now all of a sudden, I have frequent crashes. The blue screen of death was told it is caused by a driver not working not properly, namely an ATI driver.
Hello
The blue screen of death is usually due to a software problem or malfunction of the equipment. In your case, I recommend reinstall the graphics driver.
See the page of the Toshiba driver for updates.
If it doesn t help and the blue screen appears again and it would be very interesting to know the details of the blue screen, for example stop: xxxxxxCheck it out.

Impossible to install the graphics driver from Intel on Satellite R630
Hi, I downloaded the latest graphics driver from intel, but it won't install it? is there any solution for this?
You must use the driver from Toshiba's European driver page.
If you want to install the driver from the Intel page then you can do it at your own risk.
This driver can be installed in Device Manager. There, you have to point to the files in the driver downloaded from Intel page by using the Advanced installation procedure and have to force the operating system select this driver. -
