ATI graphic driver constantly crashing on the satellite

Hi all, if this question is asked before, please accept my apologies and me directly to the answer.

I have a Toshiba Equium running Windows XP (sp 2) but there seems to be some kind of conflict with the graphics driver (ATI Mobility Radeon 7000 IGP) which forces the system to crash several times a day - sometimes at startup, sometimes it crashes just during the operation. The error message says that ATI Graphics driver got into an infinite loop.

I have the latest version of windows and the ATI updates but it seems to make no difference.

A trawl of the internet forums suggest that many people have had this problem, but nobody seems to have a good solution.

Hi Steve

The BSOD appears and it is said that the ati32dvag.dll of the driver is stuck in an infinite loop. Am I wrong?
I found also several threads on the infinite loop problem ATI graphics driver.
Especially, he arrived at the course to play games or run solid 3d applications

Lucky is right. You must install the graphics drivers from the Toshiba page.
If this does not help, you can try to use the drivers from the site omegadrivers.net

    Hello

I've been instances make more frequent accidents of graphics driver. The message I get is:

"Display driver stopped responding and recovered."

Display driver Intel HD Graphics Drivers for Windows 8 (R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered. »

When this happens, the screen goes black for a split second and then everything goes back to normal.

It happens every time I play games, demanding or not (could be just Agari.io, for example), or simply to Watch youtube videos. When you play a little demanding games, even with low settings I know my chipset is capable of processing, it happens rather frequently.

I have a HP Pavilion 500-321 with an i5 CPU 4750 and 4600 Graphics Intel Intel chipset on Windows (64-bit) 10. The driver installed is Windows and the site of software & drivers of HP, the last (10.18.15.4271).

Any ideas on the way that it can be and how to solve?

PS: I've done several resets factory and same charges 10 Windows installs, so is not a solution for me.

    Thanks in advance.

    Sunshyn2005

I think that I managed to solve the problem by forcing the installation of the original drivers for my Intel graphics chip. I downloaded from the Intel Web site.  HP would not let me do this through the Windows Wizard or through installation of Intel software, so I did it manually after some research.

I have not seen the error message in more than a week now, not even when playing a bit demanding games, so I think it's safe to say that the problem has disappeared and that the problem is HP drivers in Windows 10.

I hope that you are able to pass it along so that HP can work towards a solution, if they are not already on this subject.

Thanks for your help and attention, Sunshyn.

Downloaded the driver from the website of Toshiba (psl33-xp-820300), but the installation comes with is not compatible with the graphics card.
    Can you advise...?

    Hello

It's very strange because one of my friends has the same laptop series L30 PSL33E and ATI graphic driver works and can be installed!

Could you please post the graphics card hardware ID?
You can find them in the Display Adapter details Device Manager.

By the way; It is a XP driver and if you have installed XP on your laptop, you must install the drivers of Toshiba in the right order.
    See the installation instructions.

  • If I uninstall the ATI graphics driver, is it OK?

I read that there could be problems with the help of the automatic update to install the graphics drivers? That's what I used. In any case, I intend to uninstall my ATI graphics driver and reinstall it in the hope of fixing the problem of sleep.

I want to just make sure: is it OK to just uninstall the graphics driver? The screen still works? I guess there will always be a standard video driver from microsoft so the screen should work again right?

    See you soon.

There is no problem by uninstalling the ATI graphics driver and a video driver included with windows will be used as a Standard VGA driver or something like that. So it's not like you'll get a black screen after a reboot.

The ATI website, there are drivers for the cards 'Radeon', but trying to find "mobillity radeon" there is no model 3650, even 3400 or 3600. I just bought a new computer from AMD PHenom II quad core Dell Inspiron with Windows 7 installed. • Modeling 3D (Sketch Up) programs keep crashing on the Satellite C660 - 28 d

    Hi guys,.

Obtained the Satellite C660 - 28 d to Christmas as my old laptop was dying on its feet. So far I've had no problems with it, except for when you use a selection of programs, namely Sketch Up and the rhinoceros are two 3D modeling programs. Strangely enough, AutoCAD Revit works great, I have imagined would have been more demanding on the system.

When Rhino opening he allows me to choose my model before crashing and displaying a message saying "Rhino 4.0 has encountered a problem and needs to close" and with Sketch Up I get again select a model but then a message saying "Google SketchUp has produced a bug splat and needs to close" followed by a similar error report form that never works when I try and send the error. This is happening on SketchUp 8, after having uninstalled and reinstalled SketchUp 8 and then uninstall and install SketchUp 7, all with the same result.

It has been suggested to me that there is an error with the graphics card and I have to download a driver, but the only driver on the Toshiba site that would make sense to me is the display driver, I have installed and makes no difference.

Please help me, I need the use of these types of programs for the University.

    Hello

It is possible to have these problems because of display driver.
You should maybe contact the software manufacturer and ask for help. Toshiba doesn't third party software support. Software maker has better experience with own product. I presume that what they have tested on different platforms and need to know what can be the problem.
