Atrix, Bluetooth, 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I just bought a 2011 Hyundai Sonata SE yesterday. As announced, it had included Bluetooth as a basic characteristic. Whereas it should be quite handy, I have problems with this component contacts by name. Once the device is paired, I am able to speak a number to call or answer incoming calls using the steering wheel controls; However, I am unable to "Call John sth"

Maybe it has to do with the phone book synchronization. Anyone found detailed instructions or give me advice on how to make it work, or if speech recognition is simply too shotty on these cars? I was diggin autour for more information for one or two hours through Google and the Android experience is very limited.

From what I can tell, you must use the guests of the Sonata. It would be nice if there was a way to tell him to use the built in Android or vlingo voice commands. I'm already used to them!

Thank you mullins_j. It seems there was a problem with permissions and download of the telephone directory. The phone is locked, so alerts are not obvious. Once I received the 'Sonata' bluetooth device, to access the directory and checked to remember this preference, everything seems to work as it should now.

  • Phonebook of Bluetooth downloads

I sent this question to support as well so if I get a response from them, I will post it here.

I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata with the connectiivity of the standard bluetooth for phones. I just brought the Bravo today as an Update/replacement for my HTC Tilt (two AT & T) running windows mobile 6.1. This phone works well with the system of the vehicle. Press the listen button and say the name, confirmation and dial away. The output contacts via a CSV download to my gmail account has worked very well and the calendar.

I had configured the coupling on the car for the phone and the great connection worked for audio, but when I tried to enter the name of the system could not complete the order, no names. I can dial a number verbally so that link works fine but not the phone book download. When the ignition is on and the Bluetooth connect phone emits a beep and the status line displays the message "application download phonebook", but that's all. The car system will normally display directory download at this stage, but all I get now is completed connection.

  • Sansa View and my new 2009 Sonata

I just bought a new 2009 Hyundai Sonata.  It has a USB input for the audio system.  When I plug in my opinion I get the response "Reading USB" or "Read error", but the audio system never seems to connect/sync to the view.  The audio system connects however on a regular USB key, and it displays the available songs.

    Someone at - it ideas?

Have how you used to load the songs to the view? If you used the Auto detection, (PSG), it is quite possible that your car system will not see them. (Same as your computer. Files in a mode are not displayed when the view is switched to the other mode, but the view will show all files to it). Try to load your music to your view using the MSC mode.

  • CarPlay cards do not switch to night mode

Since the update to iOS 10, my phone didn't mode at night when I use CarPlay maps. My car is a Hyundai and the stock radio is compatible with CarPlay. Before the upgrade, I've not had a problem. Are there any new setting I don't know or a known issue with this upgrade?

    Thank you!

I'm having the same problem with iOS 10. Brightness remains 100% at all times, there is no way to reduce the brightness. Maps also no longer switches to night mode. He is INCREDIBLY distracting and terrible. The car is a Hyundai Sonata from 2016. There is no update available.

  • Connectivity USB car problems

    Hello.

I just got the "rocket" for the reason of its use in my car. The only reason why I got it.

I have a USB ports and in my car (2009 Hyundai Sonata)

Filled the "rocket", plugged in - turned in the car and the "rocket" entered this thing 'slave' and the titles of songs on the car, but obviously would not show on the screen of the rocket that I had this login screen.

If I plug the "rocket" while the car is already on, the MP3 player shows the screen and it plays very well, simply nothing comes out the speakers and salons auto reading USB or something.

I don't want to control the "rocket" through the car and not being able to scroll through songs, or choose what I want.  I want to be able to run it out of the rocket itself.

I have the "rocket" on the first option so that the parameters to THE - auto detection or whatever.

I would like to pass it to the modes of the MTP and MSC, without change.

Please keep in mind, I am challenged by electronic means and any notice must be explained as you would for a 8 year old girl.

I need to change the mode and reload all the songs? or get a different connector, as one instead?

    Thank you!

    Camille

Your solution is simple: connect the headphone jack to the socket AUX in to your car stereo via the audio cable 3.5 mm rider only.  Turn up the volume of the "rocket", giving the stereo total control of car on the output level.

All you have to do to use the "rocket" in this mode is a basic USB cigarette lighter to recharge the "rocket" while being used in the vehicle, or simply rely on its internal battery.

When the "rocket" is connected to the USB port on the radio, he sees the data on the pins of the Center and responds as it is connected to the computer at home.  If it is connected to a USB charger base, it will operate normally.

Now, the only thing required is to press pause when you get out of the car, and it turns off automatically, if you use the internal battery (depending on the auto power setting interval).  If your cigarette lighter is activated only with activated ignition, the auto will work.  If you have a constant power, don't forget that the "rocket" remains lit.

The "rocket" will not charge its internal battery when turned off manually.

  • Bluetooth Audio in a 2011 Camry

While my Droid X synchs and functions in my 2011 Camry XLE gernerally, song data does not appear on the audio screen Bluetooth. Correctly and completely displays this info even when I use my USB flash drive.

What is a Droid thing or a Toyota problem?

rocko73 wrote:Your USB flash drive is hard connected to your stereo, I doubt the X supports fulle id3 tagging via bluetooth.

    Well... Apparently, it does.

After reading your post, I decided to run tests at lunch.

First I tried to connect the phone to the USB port instead of the flash player.

The good news: you can charge your Droid X using the USB port and a USB microphone cable.

The bad news: he has not yet identified the memory in the phone.

Then I disconnected the phone from the USB of the Camry and tried the audio Bluetooth before you plug in the flash drive.

The good news: all now appear info (ID3 tags)!

To his point, I plugged the drive back in and it shows also all marked information!

Don't know what I did that worked.

Thinking that perhaps it would be unsupported tag formats, I also played with these files in mp3tag before lunch.

  • iPhone with a Hyundai Santa Fe

I was at a dealership this afternoon looking at a Hyundai Santa Fe in 2017. The seller I pair let my phone with the car, and I have seen download my contacts.

I tried to use the handsfree to listen to the music on my phone, but the car failed to find. I then plugged my phone with a cable, and the same thing.

But the car shows my music when it is plugged and I use the touch screen.

Shouldn't the car recognize my voice command to listen to music, or the car to download my music first?

    Thank you

    Greetings, Bladehntr!

It seems you are trying to test our CarPlay feature at a dealership with a new Hyundai Santa Fe.  Power associate your iPhone with your vehicle, it's definitely a really cool feature that I use myself every day, so I can understand your excitement on extract.  I'd be happy to help in any way I can!

From what I can see on our website and the page of specifications for the Hyundai Santa Fe, it does not appear that CarPlay is yet available for this model.  For your reference, here are the pages I checked to find this information:

CarPlay - models available - Apple

    Apple CarPlay | HyundaiUSA.com

From what I see, the feature is available on the Elantra now (according to Hyundai).  Our site also lists the sonata and the IONIQ.  While CarPlay hands-free devices seem not to be available right now, that does not mean that you cannot even use your iPhone in your car!  The iPhone pairs with sound system in the car (that you have discovered yourself) via Bluetooth or a USB cable.  After that, you should be able to play music using the interface app from your phone (if it's our music application or a third-party music player).  This document details using audio features of your phone with a vehicle:

  • call the Hyundai + iphone

I have a 2012 focus and an iPhone (with the last iOS) 5s that I connect via cable USB of Hyundai.

I listen to music via the cable and make/receive phone calls via Bluetooth.

I have a problem when I'm listening to music and you receive a call.

When I answer a call, I can hear and speak to the caller, but the music continues to play at the same time. The phone call, making it almost impossible to understand.

If I unplug the USB cable during the call, he MUST immediately stop the music, because that's the way he plays. But this does not happen. The music keeps on playing in the background of the call.

Also, if I MAKE a call, instead of receiving one, it works as it should. The music stops until the call is completed.

I paired/re-paired my phone several times, but the problem persists.

Thanks for any help and suggestions

    Hi phidalgostar,

Looks like you have a problem when receiving calls phone bluetooth while listening to your music through ties. This could happen because you use both types of connection, try to disconnect the USB cable and use bluetooth for phone calls and music playback. This should solve the problem you are experiencing.

Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question. Good day.
