  I just bought a Motorola e Moto Smartphone a week ago because he says WIFI / 3G. I thought that this meant that if there is no available WIFI, I could just flip a switch and connect to the Internet via 3G. Is it not, how does it work?   I am usually connected to one of the two wifi networks, one I have control on and I'm not. When I am connected to that I have no control over, I usually spend my DNS settings of the network server (which often breaks down) to a third party one, but I end up having to do this every time. Is there a way so that it would automatically change my DNS server whenever I connect to this network? I am running Windows Developer Preview

• Acer aspire switch v10 wifi problem.

  It is possible that it is, for some reason, got the wireless off. There is a press of button (Fn - F3 on this laptop, may vary on the switch) which enables / disables wifi on and outside. In addition, you can toggle the wifi device in network and sharing Center, go to edit the card settings. If it does not then it is possible that the driver is corrupted or missing, open the Device Manager and look for whatever it is reported as a problem. Finally, it is possible, that there is a hardware problem in which case it will not show anywhere. This requires a trip to the repair depot.

  Hi harrybb, if you set the WAP300N as a Wireless Range Extender, you better do not connect cable to the router. The advantage when you do this, it's you will get an excellent signal strength and speed. How to do this?   Wireless technology: Wireless LAN

  At first, I have to say that the Satellite P20 is portable very nice. I got it 3 years ago. I had Satellite P20 304 and I've updated the WLAN and drive optical drive with DVD-RAM.

  WIFI compatible cards for Notebooks this model are:
  PA3212U-4MPC (Agere 802. 11b) and
  PA3273U-2MPC (Atheros 802.11ab).

  According to the specification upgrade BT is not possible. Anyway can you please post exact description of model P20 (P20 - xxx).

  Hi, I have a Pavillion G6 - 1261sa running windows 7, 64 - bit. I can't turn on my wifi and change the orange light. Ive looked for solutions for this, and most seem to be resolved by installing the drivers for the wifi card. and most seem to be resolved by going to Device Manager / card network... and so on. but I'm coming at this stage my portable Device Manager does not recognize a card wifi like being there! ! ? Help, please! I can only connect using ethernet

• Screen lock switch off wifi until this that unlocked?

  Recently, I noticed that my Bionic seems to disconnect WiFi when the screen freezes. When I unlock the screen (and I have the motive to peas unlock), there is no icon wifi for a few seconds.

  I have unlimited data, but still keep my DB on wifi all the time at home and the office. I guess that DB going in 3G or 4G mode when it is locked, which could be problematic if I had a plan of measured data. Anyone else notice this behavior?

  I noticed this also, in my view, there may be a setting for this property.

  Settings > & wireless > Wi - Fi settings

  Press the menu button, click on "Advanced".

  > Wi - Fi sleep policy

  > When the screen turns off

  > Never while it is plugged

  > Never

  Although I set it to never, and he constantly turns off Wi - Fi anyway. This could be another parameter, although I doubt it has much to do with power on/off Wi - Fi.

  Settings > Data Manager & battery > battery Mode

  Customize it to your liking, you can set your quiet hours, i.e. the hours that you are more likely not to use any data. This tells your phone to enable the data off after x minutes of being asleep. You can also set your hours peak, where you will probably use data, but for some cases that you will be gone for a while and it will turn off usually given after a longer period of time than off-peak hours. But I think it doesn't affect the Mobile data (3G / 4G) and will not affect the Wifi.

  Try this. Disable your account for a few seconds so that your email address will lose the connection he has with both routers, and then reactivate your account and associate the new router (WRT1900AC).

• Feel like 110 - question of OSX WiFi SCAN configuration

  I added the printer via WPS on the WIRELESS network.

  Under Printers Scanners &, click on the Plus sign button and you should immediately see the printer listed as like Hello.

  If the printer is not listed as Hello, which can occur because of a configuration of the router or limitation, any support from router Hello (aka. Multicast) and some provided with such support disabled by its default configuration.

  Please specify your model and brand of router, so I can try to guide you further.
