  Just got my Officejet 5740 and cannot get my laptop to connect to it. I followed the instructions on downloading the software of the printer, and installed correctly. I also have this HP Aios remote printer that came on my laptop as well. I have connected the printer and set it as the default printer, but when you try to print items, a notification appears in the upper right corner, saying that the printer is not connected to the network. However, the printer indicates that it is, and I connected it multiple times to check, then also restarted my laptop and printer. I have gone to the HP site and that you've downloaded many support tools, but they can't get the printer to make them unnecessary. So in conclusion, I can see that my laptop and printer are connected wirelessly, but when you try to use the printer, he said that it is not. I guess that some sort of DRM would be necessary? These documents cannot be hosted or encrypted outside the network, so any solution will have to be hosted internally in its entirety.

  You can't stop the shared files, PDF or any other type. With the help of DRM you can make shared unnecessary copies. DRM is a complex and controversial.
