Audio beats after repair?

I recently had my 6-1126sa screen (Windows 8) computer laptop HP Envy repaired, but unfortunately my hard drive had to be wiped. The problem, I now what a lot of my drivers were not reinstalled - so I did manually, but I can't seem to get the audio beats that I had before the repair. Is it possible that I can get that back?

don't worry, I realized that I had missed installing the audio driver from here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4132&lc=en&cc=uk&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=5311098#N515, could someone explain how to remove a thread please?

  • Wanted M6 Notebook PC: Switch Audio Beats and graphic equalizer do not work after 10 can I upgrade

My HP Envy Notebook PC sound M6 worked well with the IDT High-Definition Audio Driver 6.10.6498 (SP65196) on Windows 8.1.

After upgrading the computer to Windows 10, a few weeks ago, the soft ON / OFF switch and the graphic equalizer on the experience tab listening to setting Audio Beats (in the notification area), seem to have no effect, while the computer plays YouTube or any other media source. However, music, voice, and the 3D film work, but if I switch the switch WE / OFF made drag commands of the equalizer, then close and restart the media source or restart the computer, the quality of the sound changes according to the changes I made.

If I uninstall and reinstall the driver but does not restart the computer, the ON / OFF and Equalizer slide controls work, and I can hear the changes in sound quality that I do them (real time), until the computer is restarted when he's back as if the controls are disconnected from the source of the media.

I also noticed that the controls were working 'real time' after update of Windows 10 Support Package KB3081438. For a moment I thought that Microsoft has solved the problem, until the second reboot, when it stopped again.

I feel that Windows 10 is the substitution of some settings after restart, I would be grateful for assistance in this regard.

    Simple.

    Sorted,

I removed the HP biometric devices, wireless button and IDT Audio (SP65196) drivers and installed the standard MS Windows 10 drivers, then installed HP SP71886 "driver Audio IDT high definition (HD).

    Everything works now.

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question on your HP laptop and your Beats Audio does not work properly after upgrading to Windows 10. Here is a link to help solve the speakers and sound does not work correctly.

The link by using the Windows troubleshooting tool is the best for this situation.

    You can also try.

    1. right click the speaker icon in the lower right corner of your time.
    2. click on playback devices.
    3. click on the speakers.
    4. click on properties.
    5. click on the Advanced tab in the Properties window.
    6. change the default Format menu drop-down of the highest quality 192000 Hz.
    7. click on apply. Reboot the laptop.

You can try to use theWindows Update Troubleshooter to fix updates that do not come through Windows 10.  Please restart the laptop twice to make sure that all updates are completed!

If that's not enough to uninstall the Realtek HD Audio and other that are listed in Device Manager, click the arrow next to its video and controller to expand this category games
Click on it Audio IDT high definition (HD), and then select Update driver software.
Select search automatically for updated driver software.

The laptop must find and automatically install the updated driver.
Once the installation is complete, restart your laptop.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

Updated to Windows 10 8.1 and everything seemed to go ok.  There was some sort of update a little later after installation and it removed my audio Beats. How or can I get it back?   I looked and tried a few suggestions (nearly everything is for laptops), but without success.  May be a rumor, but do you buy Mac audio Beats and is why nothing works now?  I do not have software Realtek (I did a complete search on my PC), so anything with this solution does not work.   Other alternatives to improve the sound quality?   A lot of questions but I need help.

  • Pavilion 14-v060Br: Remove audio beats without loss of sound quality

As many customers know, audio beats produced distortions and can be very annoying.

After a lot of research here, I could remove from Beats Audio and install generic drivers, but then I lost the quality of the sound and equalization that I would have with original drivers.

I would like to know if there is no driver, perhaps from a laptop with a similar material, which can give me back and quality equalization, without the distortions of Beats Audio.

HP shoud really solve this problem.

    Only, I solved the problem.

I use a HP Pavilion and the soundboard is Realtek, so if your soundboard is an IDT, the solution is different, but I found many topics on the problem of the IDT and I think it was has been resolved.

    Here we go:

1 uninstall all the drivers, you need to me probably do it in different ways: try to uninstall by ' Panel > uninstall a program > > Unistall Realtek High Definition Audio ' then open the Device Manager and go to "Audio, video and game controllers" and uninstall it too. Probably, there is two options, uninstall both of them. If there are more, uninstall all audio drivers you find. Edit: I forgot one thing, if you have the Support of HP software installed, unistall it too.

    2. do NOT restart the computer, if you do this, windows will install the generic drivers.

    3. go to 'http://www.realtek.com.tw/ > downloads > High Definition Audio Codecs (software) "and download one of the first two options (32 or 64-bit, with 103161 k or 128412 k files). Install and reboot the computer. I'm not sure but maybe you have to restart the computer two times.

    4. the Realtek Control Panel manage will start with windows and equalization will be back, too, the Equalization of the volume that distorts the sound will be gone, but you can check or uncheck in the control panel.

    5. If the Equalization of the volume or any other effect is always on and its reduction of the quality of the sound, the right click on the sound icon in the taskbar and then click "Playback devices", then click right-click in one of the devices and select "show disabled devices", then click on 'Speakers' with the right button , then 'properties' and then 'improvements', there you can disable or enable whatever you want, including equalization EQ and volume (witch kills the sound when active).

    6. what a shame you HP.

    I hope it helps.

  • Pavilion my audio beats

Today, I noticed that my audio beats is no longer on my Pavilion m7-1015dx. I have upgraded to windows 8.1 a few months ago, and by updating the system to the latest drivers, I see more audio beats. I have updated the latest IDT and BIOS as well as other updates. I checked in my programs and the system. If the beats audio is compatible with windows 8.1, where can I find the drivers and software for this? I didn't chance to solve this issue.

I solved my problem and I'll share that in case others have the same problem.

GO to C: drive or your main partition with windows and find the file of windows.

Click windows file and GO TO a system32 file and click it, then scroll down until you come to the Beats64 file and click on it...

Note that each click Display logo beats... a click with to have a 'Slash' through the logo, if this is the case, click on the file of the application until there is NOT a slash through the emblem. Then search your system using the search bar under "programs" in the lower left of the taskbar. You should now see the Beats audio sybol.

I should point out that I use a classic interface on my windows 8 that makes my represent GUI like Windows seven. Therefore, your research after this operation that my differ, but you can search through the Explorer files or search for other options of familiar to you.
