Audio clip looping randomly in first project

Hey guys,.

Working on a project today and came across an incredibly frustrating error with little predictable to solve, at least in my opinion. It seems that at random (and I can't really give a better description of when this happens because it really seems to arrive at "random") audio from the individual sequences is corrupted and plays on the loop. For example, I have an interview clip that is cut in various places but all have the same source file. Now, in order on the photo the other two clips of '00046.MTS' will play their audio very well, but when he is at clamp highlghted audio loops a short second soundbite. I tried to play the original source file in VLC and it plays very well (i.e. audio does not loop) so it's clearly a mistake of fact first.

Is there a way to solve this problem without re - import the clip? I'll do it if necessary, but this is obviously not ideal. What is particularly frustrating, is that I don't know what is the cause for this, so I feel as if I'm doing things inadverntently to cause this. In addition, happen apparently randomly makes me nervous, it happen with another clip and I have to re - import again etc etc.

in any case, thanks for the help in advance.Screen shot 2013-12-03 at 4.31.09 PM.png

Try to remove the closed with PP media Cache files.  In this way it will rebuild the when you reopen the project.

You can find where they are stored on your hard drive under Edit > Preferences > Media...

Let me know if you need, more or less long. I always your original, so the version published on the system. Do not delete for a few days. We can also adapt a modified version to get an exact duration, by basically Time stretch the Clip. I'm doing this at the hearing, so I can maintain the field and other aspects of the case. Pre can do, to a certain extent, but I like the control of the hearing. In addition, we can Volume keyframe fade sooner than the last Audio Unit, if they had to.

PS - If you use SFX, I often more material, I'm going to need. Rather than change in Audition, I just put all the Clip of SFX on a track and keyframe and the Keyframe to just the place that I need. In this way, if, let's say I lengthen my video Clip later, I just need to set keyframes for SFX and I still have enough material to use - I have no re - edit in Audition.

  • How to make the loop audio clips in the first or elsewhere

HOW CAN I DO AUDIO LOOPING CLIPS IN THE FIRST OR ELSEWHERE?

None of these answers are correct.

My brother found this thread, looking for help and left in frustration, asking for the answer instead.

Kevin Monahan response is only semi-finished.

    Here's the full answer:

Looping a video or audio clip on the timeline, right-click and select 'nest...".

Name the nest, what you please.

Now, double-click on nested clip you just created. This allows to enter the nested sequence.

NOW you can select the clip, copy and Paste several times. (Just keep hitting CTRL V, and the read head automatically moves forward to place the next clip.)

    Return to the main sequence.

Now you can use the selection tool to extend this nest as much or as little as you like.

It is a far superior method, because a nested sequence is a SINGLE ELEMENT that can be resized, given effects, moved, lengthened and shortened very easily.

  • Unable to set keyframes in the audio clip selected with the pen tool - can no longer see the volume control line after developing the clip. What could be the problem? This seems to be the problem on any project that I opened.

Cannot set keyframes in the audio clip selected with the pen tool - cannot see even the line volume control more to set keyframes on having developed the clip. What could be the problem?  I use the first CC pro @.

You can use the Ctrl key and then click with the regular selection tool, clicking with ctrl will make a new keyframe. in this way, have no need for the tools. CTRL has other great shortcuts that will stop you having to spend retouching pads tools too.

If the automation keyframe line is missing, you can switch on and off in the menu sequence.

  • How can I register multiple audio clips (short) in a single long audio clip in first Pro CS5?

    Hello

The question is in the title, but I wonder how I can join multiple audio clips (short) in a single audio clip in PP CS5.5 long.  I put all my short clips just next to each other and selected all to see what options are available by clicking and using the options on the toolbar at the top.  The closest I got was to nest sequence, but not what I really want.

I want to merge all of the short videos in a single audio file (long) to use under the video.

Thoughts are welcome and much appreciated.

    Thank you

    -Melvin

O.K. This is the kind of basic and you will need to learn until on it fully... .but for now...

Make sure you have the WAB (work area bar) which covers the length of the audio clips. (You don't need to choose)

Go to the file Menu > export media

You will receive all the Export Options.  Select the Wave file

Select the option to export the work area.

Choose a location to export the file to (location HD)

    Follow your nose from there...

BTW - Why are you taking the audio to the Audition anyway? What are you going to do for her.

  • Same Audio Clip: "cannot synchronize one or more elements in the current selection because a match is not found.

So I recorded a one-piece multicamera Setup.  I recorded audio separately from an external source.

I turned view individual compisitions of each camera.  I then manually sync had my external audio by aligning alogn original audio wave forms.  Once I him I had lined up perfectly, I deleted audio of the original camera in the composition (to only use my external audio clip)

I went and had already done with the same exact audio file for each camera view (in their own compositions).  I even standardized tham all to the same heights-6.  Thus, they are literally all of the same audio data.

However, when I go to merge all of these compositions in a multicam composition (audio) via - I get this 'cannot synchronize' - which I don't really understand because I literally use the same audio clip on each of them.

I tried to clear my cache of media and delete the cache files from media like another post said, but it was without result.

Any reason, why this happens?  I tried to follow the channel 1, follow the channel 2, track down mix channel. all the same.

Here's what to look like my comps:

Ahhh I think I got it.

Through Google more on this subject, I found an old post of you actually.

That's your answer for someone else who sees this thread:

In order to cut a multicam project using the multicam monitor, which is by far the simplest method, then you will need to use nested sequences.  There is no way around that.

You can cut without the multicam monitor if you want, but I find it much less effective.

There are different methods of creating a nested sequence multicam.  A large number of tutorials and even the focus of help file on the automatic mode, but I think it's lack and opportunity, problematic.  I prefer to do things manually.

    1. create a sequence corresponding to your images.

    2. Add the clips and synchronize them manually.

    3. create a second sequence corresponding to your images.

    4. the first sequence in the second nest.

    5. right click this sequence of nested, then select multicamera > activate...

Thank you.  They have really should let more people know this method.  I thought the compiler auto was the only way to do it, I would rather manually this way

  • Talked about the day differently audio clips

Hi there, please help - :))

I have several clips of creations audio .wav for learning project, that I'm building for online customer. However the clips are sounded differently (maybe because they were recorded each in another room). How can I make the most of the features unifying these audio clips?

Thanks for the replies and advice.

    Yarik

I'm afraid you can't. It's a problem for the voice-over since they were invented.

The problem is the human ear is very sensitive to the way sound people and can detect the smallest differences very easily. So if change you even the slightest thing on the way in which it is registered, it will be its different. And here is the differences that you just can't hide, I'm afraid - some people may even make the difference between someone in an identical configuration before and after lunch - what you eat and drink can alter your voice enough for some people to tell.

The result of this is that if you want a voice-over for the same sound completely, however, you must save all at the same time and make sure that the person making it sipped anything else water at room temperature while making!

The way that many people move discontinuities is to use a second voice, interspersed with the first, so that they alternate pieces of it. If there are major differences in the record, then even if it does not work.

I had the same problem. What I've done. 1 / I chose all mp4 files in Windows Explorer. 2 / I created a new folder very close to the original (s) 3 / I moved the clips (without the cfa and so on...) for the new records. 4 / premiere Pro will be automatically "relocate" the missing clips when you reopen the project. And now, they have audio too. I hope this will help.

  • Volume keyframing of problems on a reverse audio clip

I'm running on one more question that is really frustrating. I am not able of the two 1 reverse/reprogram an audio clip and 2 keyframe or change its size. I can do one or the other, but not both... when I do it, the audio is not just through my speakers. This has happened on several systems and projects on many computers Mac different with different configurations and GPU.

It is interesting, I found other people noticing the same problem (changes of time and conflicting keyframes) completely new to CS4: http://forums.CreativeCOW.NET/thread/3/897605

I asked this question here before, nothing helps. I doubt I'll get a solution here. But I wonder now, should I register it as a "bug" or a "feature request"?

It seems that it SHOULD work, since the first I can keyframe the volume, and the audio player reflects the decibel that must play. It is not just play through the speakers. I can reverse and keyframe of the opacity of a clip without any problem. Makes me think it is a bug and not a "missing feature".

While I must reverse the clip, exporting AIFF, re - import and add keyframes, which is such a waste of time. So many hours of wasted time...

    Thank you!

You can also drop the clip in a separate order and reverse the trend

Then, drag this sequence as a nest in your main sequence and the keyframe.

  • No audio clip names do not in the timeline

In first CC, none of my audio tracks shows the name of the element.  The video tracks do just fine, but the audio tracks are just empty.  They play very well, but do not display the name of cip.  I tried to go through the settings but nothing seems to fix.  I tried to start a new project with different audio clips but still the same problem.
Under first CC (with the last update) Mac Pro running Mountain Lion.

  • Adding an audio clip in something else than 1 Audio

First off, I want to thank everyone for their patience with my questions! I almost finished this project. Most of my questions are do not know what terms to search for the issue I'm having

Currently, I add sound effects to my video. When inserting my audio clip, even if I have previously highlighted the "Audio 2" track, the source it always inserts in 1 Audio, moving audio and video I have in this way to the right. So I drag the audio up to 2 and remove the ripple. Is there an easier way to do this, so I can't take all these extra steps?

You pointed out the 2 track, but did you remove the highlight of track 1?

  • Last approximately 10% of audio clips do not play

My imported songs will not play the last 10% of the clip.  At first I thought it was a result of trying to use clips from 6 to 10 minutes of music, like 1-3 minutes titles seem to never fail, but could not find this same cut out all but the last minute of a long clip (do a 10 minute clip in a two minute clip) and try to use has resulted in his last 10% plays do not!

The waveform for each audio clip is displayed in the Source tab and is fine.  But rub or play the clip works only until the point 90% and then sound becomes silent.  This is true to the Source drive or when the audio is inserted into the timeline.

I have converted the original .m4a to mp3 and wma audio files, but always with the same result.  All the clips of converts play in QuickTime and WM player players, so it's something within Pro CS4 Prime Minister himself who is a failure.

I tried everything I can think without results and have run out of ideas.

    Any suggestions, anyone?

I would like to convert these source files to PCM/WAV 48 kHz 16-bit format and import it into the project. PrPro should love these files and you should have no problems. You must specify PrPro moments to conform to these files until you make slide them on the Timeline (progress bar for consistent standard in the bottom right of the GUI). It should take only moments with these files (duration and your system will dictate just how long), and you might not even see the progress bar.

    Good luck

    Hunt

BTW - how you convert? Soundbooth or Audition can do easily, as well as free Audacity.

    Justin,

Please tell us about your project Preset and your source footage.

Then, tell us the exact export/share settings.

Usually, when we don't have audio on Export/share, it is because they do not check both Audio & video or multiplexing is set to None. As well as your other settings of export/share, please let us know about those too. Multiplexing is defined on this tab of the dialog box.

    Good luck
