audio device on high definition audio bus

I shot my SL400 with windows XP SP3.

I've updated my system drivers by using the tool "system update" Lenovo. Although the audio driver is installed and the audio working there is a question mark and exclamation mentioning "audio device on high definition audio bus". the device instance ID is

HDAUDIO\FUNC_01 & VEN_8086 & DEV_2802 & SUBSYS_80860101 & REV_1000\4 & 847CD8C & 0 & 0201
kindly help!

Thanks in advance!

Hey man I solved that same question as you have it if your using xp for audio problem trying to load the driver manually in C:\DRIVERS\WIN\AUDIOC\WDM, for a video broadcast in audio HDMI, I think that you need to reinstall the video driver for HDMI and if the driver installation or locate the folder video driver to C:\DRIVERS\WIN764\VIDEO\HDMI it is because the audio and the video has the same HDMI system files necessary, sorry my bad English but I'm trying to help.

Thank you

    Hello

I assume you are using the XP operating system. Is this good?

Good friend had a similar problem and has been able to solve.
You must first install MS fixes / patches.

    Hey there!

I have a little problem with my Satellite L40-143 (Modell Nr.: PSL40E-04E00LGR).
I changed from Windows Vista to Windows XP Professional and found that all need drivers, except a "device on high definition audio bus modem.

I would be very grateful for all the good ideas.

    Thank you ^ ^

Laughing out loud. Hey Buddy what s the problem
You have no sound on your laptop or you cannot burn a CD with your CD/DVD drive?

The fact is that DON T need all the drivers for the CD/DVD drive. The operating system uses Microsoft own driver!
If you want to burn media, you must install a burning like Nero for example software!

  • T61 - no sound - Audio on High Definition Audio Bus with yellow exclamation point device

    Hello

I don't know when it started, but suddenly my T61 has no audio/HiFi. I checked the Device Manager and saw the device on High Definition Audio Bus Audio with question mark (large) yellow with yellow exclamation superimposed on it. On Lenovo's Support site, I downloaded the 7ka114ww.exe, hoping to remedy this device to uninstall it reboot and re - install using the downloaded exe, but anything will do.

Any suggestion or help is really appreciated. Thanks in advance

PS. I also see the basic pop up system device after a reboot and ask to be installed? This pop-up had been there for some time before the sound/sound has been lost.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

What operating system do you use?

When you say that you have installed the driver, do you also go to C:/drivers /... to run the .exe steup? The second Setup program must be run to install the driver correctly.

    Hello

I noticed that aid of t don SP3 in all cases.
First, the best solution is to install Win XP SP2, and then register the mentioned patches. Then restart the laptop and install the sound card driver.

If still get you some yellow exclamation points then the brand of the device and remove it from the Device Manager list.
After restarting again the device to be recognized by Win XP again and you can complete the installation driver sound.

    Help, please!

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

You only need the audio driver for your laptop computer and that's all!
Have you already installed this driver?

Before installing an audio driver for the sound card high definition, you must first install the two patches:

    Hi @JS2045

The audio device problem HD, what you see is the Intel HDMI audio device that needs a driver.

I looked around for a driver W10 to the hardware ID you have published and fails.

This device is necessary unless you want or need audio via the port display.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the graphics driver Intel W7 laptop support and driver page, but install it... so that you target just the audio device problem...

Download, but do not work with this graphics driver...

    http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?sp4ts.Oid=4095873 & swItemId = ob_127914_1 & swEnvOid = 4059

Download and install this free utility for files.  64-bit is the second listed file.

    http://www.7-zip.org/

After installing 7-zip, do a right-click on the graphic driver file you downloaded, and select 7 - zip in the list of items.

Have 7-Zip extract of: and let it extract the driver for the name of the folder (sp64360).

Go to Device Manager and click on the audio device problem Intel HD requiring the driver.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver 7-Zip created folder.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.

    Then restart.

If you explore the driver folder 7-zip created, and then open the DisplayAudio folder, you will find the setup information file that has the hardware ID you reported that supported by the driver.

If this driver audio works on W10, I don't know.

But if you want to give that a try, it would be a way to do it without messing with the real graphics driver.

  • Laptop of HP ENVY 15 TS: problems installing the audio driver (High Definition Audio device)

    Hi all

My product is the HP ENVY 15 TS laptop.

    Product number: E3B65PA #AR6

    OS: 8.1 64-bit Windows

A few days ago, I upgraded my windows to windows 8 to 8.1 windows and found that no noise from HDTV when hook up my HDMI cable however video is perfectly fine. I was completely baffled because the audio was working perfectly fine before the upgrade to Windows 8.1. I tried several solutions posted on other forums, such as install other drivers and uninstall the IDT High Definition Audio Driver and then scan for hardware changes. I checked the HDMI cable and it works very well with the other laptop.

Device Manager is needle 2 device:

High definition audio device (yellow own showing)

    IDT High Definition Audio CODEC

When I open the properties of the audio device high definition, that is to show:

This device cannot start (code 10)

    {Operation failed}
    The requested operation failed.

If anyone knows how to solve the problem, please help me

    Thanks in advance

    Hello:

Audio driver IDT (portable speakers) seems to work very well.

The problem is probably with the Intel graphics driver that controls the HDMI audio.

My recommendation would be to install the latest Intel graphics driver from the link below and see if that fixes the problem.
