  I'm using Premiere pro CS5 trial version. The videos I have are in format .mpg and play fine in other programs. When I import into first they import in the form of audio files.

• Audio on and off randomly. Help out me here.

  So I got my laptop for about 9 months and I started having trouble with it about 2 months after I got it. Although it may be entirely the fault of laptops because I think that the person who resell it to me just wanted a quick sale because this is the bare minimum of what I expect it to do.

  But lately to my embarrassment, the audio has stopped working... for everything.

  Nothing I tried worked and from time to time, he will be randomly the sound will be back on again. He did this time about 5 months after I bought it and I don't think that anything of him, but now it is happening every day and driving me crazy!

  What can I do about it?

  I tried to uninstall the sound restart, but which does not double and triple checked that nothing is on mute, I used youtube, VLC and Windows Media Player to test out and still nothing. In the Control Panel, it indicates the sound works but it is not. I also tried to put in the headphones and it is also not all the sounds in the headphones.

  Please help me out here, I have no idea what to do with this thing.

  Try the following.

  Open windows control panel, open Windows Update, select "View update history" in the left pane and then select "Installed updates" link in the next window.

  Locate the KB2962407 update, right click and choose uninstall.  Once completed, restart the computer, open windows control panel, open Windows Update and select "Check for updates".  You will see the update that you have uninstalled just offered once again - right click and select "Hide update".

  After that you may or may not need to remove and reload the sound driver - if you do, how to use Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.

  You cannot use an audio port for video! This will never work!

  If the laptop supports s-video output port, then you could connect the TV to the computer using a SCART-s-video cable.

• Tried to replace the video card integrated with card pci-e x 16 and lost audio - help please

  Is this normal - when you replace your car video with a pci-e video card you would lose your sound.  The system I have is a Pavilion a1450n and has 3 pci slots and 1 pci-e.  I changed the pci-e video in the bios and everything is fine, but no sound at all.  When I took out the card then I would sound.

  Please help.

  The former system of video seems to give me a little trouble.  He keeps hide and freeze from time to time.  Don't know when that will happen.  But when this happens, a blue screen it freezes or just blanks out and comes back.  It will happen nobody knows.  Everything else works fine.  Hate to give up this old gem - for a lot of software installed to lose.

  Yes, when you have an old PC where the BIOS does not have HDMI.

  Your PC thinks that you have installed a sound card and a video card because of the HD audio chip on the video card.

  Thus, he disabled the integrated audio system.

• Audio help! How to get out of the "umms" in an interview

  As you know, I give you Karma points again so I hope that all my staff have been going to a lot of good things. I'm publishing an interview I did and there are a number of "umms" as in (I was walking on the street and 'um', I decided to go to the "shop um" ect - you get my point) in the audio and I was wondering if anyone has an idea on how to minimize this without the audio off completely for a second or two?

  You could get lucky, if there is not a lot of discernible lip movement in the "em um", and be able to just cut that particular sound signal. I locate some "Audio ambient" and replace those set out to offend, you have no silence when you cut out. If you are nearby, and there are obvious lip movement, then there is not much else, that can be done.

• First Elements 7 Audio help

  I'm working on a video project in first Elements 7. After starting to get the hang of it (this is my first time using the program), things went very well. I was manually putting upward brands menu, when I came across a video section that had no audio data. This part has been about an hour and the video up to this point has been perfectly fine. The silent part takes about 15 minutes and then the remaining 45 minutes have audio but it is badly out of sync with the video. I tried to restart the project and re - download video for the program again, but it did not help. I know that this isn't a problem with the video because I've worked with her before and just tested in iTunes and Quicktime and it works perfectly well with these programs.

  Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem and how to fix it? Audio problems would carry on the DVD if I burn with the video as it is? Thank you.

  Just had exactly the same thing happens to me. I could solve the problem by resetting all parameters. This can be found in settings > General > reset > reset all settings. After restarting my iPhone I tried Siri immediately and she was back to her old self.

  Note: This will not remove any content or media, but you will need to login to iCloud and iTunes, as well as re-setup a few things like TouchID, access code and location Services. Basically any parameter, which was not in a "factory" condition

  Hello:

  If your new video card also has an HDMI port (which most of them do these days), the audio chip embedded to HDMI on the disabled video card audio integrated (Realtek) PC.

  The solution is simple.

  Go into BIOS and find the onboard audio setting. It will be either automatic or off value.

  Change the setting to "Enabled". Save the configuration there and again when you exit the BIOS.

  On reboot, you should have your on-board audio back.

• Multiband compressor to normalize the audio--> help!

  Please bear with my lack of familiarity with the audio technical aspects...

  I use the latest version of first Pro CC.

  I work with a simple track and good quality of voice of a LAV microphone (no other background sound or other voice is involved).

  I am interested in the "normalize" where audio effect:

  (1) low volumes are magnified, and

  (2) PEAK volumes are limited to never exceed a specified decibel.

  If I understand correctly the Multiband Compressor effect, all I have to do is apply, click the "Edit" button (opens the effect Editor window) and work with the Gain and the margin values (in the limiter section) to get the desired effect (as described above).

  I did a test with my own voice (I spoke quietly and strong), and everything seems to be happening is that the gain increases the volume and margin on the limiter of decreases. It seems redundant. Why have a limiter to reduce gain if you limit rather just gain increasing is not so much the first place? The limiter reduces the entire audio track, the fall in the volumes included.

  It does not intelligently strong sections which would go above a specified decibel and leave only low volumes. It comes either increases or decreases.

  I looked at the tutorials and read articles on this effect as well as the dynamic affect getting a result normalizing. I'm lost! Thanks in advance for any advice.

  It is actually not all that feasible at first.  You will spend more time and get a less favourable outcome.  In any case, the purpose of the multiband compressor is to adjust different * frequency * (high and low pitch) in a clip. * not * the volume up or down.

  A much better choice is the treatment of the dynamics and the interface in Audition is a thousand times more intuitive than that of first!  Here are screen grabs:

  Ahh... that makes sense... no sound which is 0dB is reduced to-3db and all sounds i.e. - 23dB is brought up to autour-6 dB.

I started a project of type kenitic with CS6 and have now I just CC and try to complete the project with the CS of cloud.   I have imported my mp3 file and brought my text layers.  But when I try to hear the sound, I get nothing.  I tried the ram preview... nothing.  I tried the (.) on the numeric keypad as well as using Shift / and the displacement of the scrubber.  Still nothing.   I have the original mp3 file on my desk and can hear it very well from there.  There is no interactivity with the audio Panel... She is dull kind of worms down.   Anyone have any ideas?

  MP3 files are not suitable for production activities.  Convert your MP3 into an uncompressed WAV or AIF file and import it back.

  In addition, check after Audio effects / physical preferences and correspondence of Audio output, to ensure that your output audio standards are used.

  I use the frames inside the layers, each have their own 'answer', but if I have the first image as a white (to show no results when the game starts) the blank frame gets pulled up as a response.

• Audio and video Y570 randomly freezes for a short period of time

  I recently bought my Y570. While I was playing a video game (League of Legends), the video froze, and my sound is distorted for only a second or two, he jittered. I thought it was nothing to worry about.
