Audio L & R in the timeline

I would like my tracks audio L & R of my video clips on 2 mono tracks in the panel mounting instead of being forced into a stereo audio track.

Is this possible?

I've got shotgun on L & LAV on R. I would like that they separate in my calendar.

Sure. Before using one of your images in a sequence, select the clips and go to the Clip > edit > Audio channels. Check the radio button "Mono." That's all there is to it, but you don't have to do this before you use the images in a sequence. You can apply this change to many clips at once.

  • With the help of an audio clip to control the timeline

    I have a composition that has two pieces of VO. Each has an associated text block.

    I want to play the first VO when it is clicked on the first text. Then, when the VO ends, I want to fade the first block of text to falter, the second and play the second VO when we.

    I have the updated scenario in place with labels to play through transitions at the end of the first VO. No problem there.

    I have the audio that plays when I click on the blocks of text. Everything is good.

    However, I don't know how to make the calendar before the audio clip at the end play.

    This is the code for the first block of text:

    SYM.$("RUP01_Nar_1") [0]. Play();

    SYM. Play ('Nar2');

    It plays audio but also plays the timeline instantly (so from one to the other, the blocks of text fade as soon as starts the audio).

    I tell myself that I need some kinds of code between who said, essentially, ' wait than the audio finishes then [cheek chronology]. " But like many I tried I can't find anything to do.

    Thanks for your help...

    Thanks for that,

    I gave it a try, but unfortunately it did not work. The audio could not play altogether.

    However, I managed to solve the problem by using the setTimeout function and enter the audio duration as the time-out;

    SYM.$("RUP01_Nar_1") [0]. Play();

    {setTimeout (function ()}

    SYM. (Play ('Nar2')}, 10000);

    This does not mean having to customize the time-out for each clip, but it will serve well for the moment.

  • Source audio not available on the timeline of the program

    I'm editing sequences blocking pieces, that I have already edited.  However, when I select the titles that I want on my side source, they are not available on my calendar program on the map.  If I run the cut audio tracks come from an arbitrarily on titles that are not necessary.

    This Jpeg shows my calendar source. You can see that I have chosen the V1, 2, 3. A1-11 also.

    Screen Shot 2016-08-27 at 6.05.35 PM.png

    On my side of the source, I see v-4 and not a single audio track. If I turn on the icon at the top right of the timeline he sometimes changes my video tracks but the sound at all.

    RESOLVED (I think).  This is a bug.  I open older versions and this question was not there - if you look at the jpeg timeline below you can see two open sequences that no matter what titles are in one are available in the other for editing (in contrast to the picture in my first post).  Look at the left column in the first post and this one.

    According to my experience, it is yet another bug on the sound side with the disappearance of the waveforms and audio track names disappearing.

    The question is perhaps will be these corrected?  I see people who write on the waveforms disappearing go back at least 2103.

    In my case the "simple"solution is to revert to a previous version and do about 5 hours of work."  If anyone has a solution more simple I'm all ears. Maybe I do something wrong, that would be good to know, but I really can't think of any changes that I did it would affect.

    At least a few tracks have waveforms...

  • Merged clips are not automatically linked with the audio when put to the timeline.

    So I've updated to the latest version of first pro, and it seems that he has this bug with merged clips or is a 'feature' I don't know.

    I synced the audio clips video and multichannel, as I do usually - using audio matching feature.

    When I put the video merged to the timeline and try to move around, only following a video audio track, others are unrelated. It wasn't the question in the previous version first. Any suggestions how to solve this problem?

    A screenshot below, this is what I get when I put a clip merged directly to the timeline. As you can see, only the audio is linked (marked with [A])

    Hi bunaras,

    Yes, it's a bug with clips merged; It also affects the edit of a sequence in another with the "insert and replace sequences such as nests or individual clips" button to "individual clips." Sorry for the inconvenience; Currently, the only solution would be to manually connect the audio and video components.

  • no channels for audio or video in the timeline

    I use a mac and on my calendar, there is no channels for audio or video, for example, V1, V2 etc, and I can't drag videos or images on the timeline. How to rectify this please?

    I suspect that you might not have created a sequence, or it loaded in your editing panel.

    Do you have?

  • audio not imported on the timeline. Please help me. I'm going crazy

    Hi, I use a macbook pro after years of windows. I upgraded my Adobe CC software. I was using before CS6. I work with usually. MTS has clips that I have a camera video sony.

    The problem is that as the mac does not read that these first files does not recognize them either. I called Apple support and they told me to look for an app on the app store that I had to convert them. I did and I converted to mp4.

    I use a project that I've already started on a PC. On the section of the project, I changed all the sequences and it worked with the clips that I already had on the timeline. The problem is that if I want to import a new clip or part of a clip on the timeline of the section of the project or the audio source does not appear and there's the little yellow triangle with the '! ' indicating an audio loss as summer disclosed. In contrast, audio works if I play the clip in the source section.

    Thanks for your help

    Please try this: from the SD card, copy all THE files and folders on your hard drive. All of this, do not alter the content. Then in the first, use the "media browser" actually import the images. This often allows various issues. First CC should be able to manage your clips natively without messing with the converters. The media browser method works much better than "file > import"-assuming you have any content intact card and NOT just only .mts files.

  • Can I change Clips Audio waveform display in the timeline panel to resemble CS6 in CC?

    I just changed my CC of CS6, and I don't like how waveforms of audio clips in the timeline panel look in creative cloud. in CS6 is show the waveform centered in the clip, but CC, he seems to have cut in half.

    I have change a scripted show and have the Visual cues when a line starts and stops was incredibly useful. It was very clear in CS6 because I could see peaks and valleys very easily.

    Can I change how the waveforms of audio clips in the panel mounting back to the way it was at CS6? I want it to be centered in the clip and not cut in two.

    Thank you

    Click on the drop down the timeline and uncheck corrected Audio waveforms.

  • audio track missing in the timeline & don't relink

    I am rebuilding a hour-long show and was almost finished yesterday.  When I opened the program this morning, not from my music or VO reproduce.  The clips were there, but not sound or wave form.  When I double click on the clip of VO in the project window, nothing happened.

    I took one of the clips offline then attempted to connect to the source element and received an error message:

    "An unspecified error occurred during the execution of a consistent action on the following file: Users/jamespwatt/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/media Cache files/Hawaii-7 6 - 16.wav 48000.cfa '.  This message also disappears quickly so finally that had to take a picture of it so I could copy the message.

    I went outside the Premier and open the clip in iTunes and it plays well back.  I exported a source through ME as a test file and get the same results.

    I deleted the cache of media several times, rebooted PP, trashed preferences and restarted the computer and CCPP.

    I was able to reconnect all of my music, but not my VO, and I'm in a dilemma how to get this accomplished.

    This project is a version previous to the first Pro CC, not sure, but a year ago.

    Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  In addition the program works great so far.

    I uninstalled PP 2015 and reinstalled PP2014 and the update to see if that would solve the problem with the files of VO disappears.  Exactly same thing is happening in PP 2014.  lay down on the track VO VO, then close the program and reopen it.  clip is there, but not to wave or audio form.

    I got to thinking about all this started after I installed an update of Sonic Pro/Smartsound so it would work with PP 2015, so I disabled just my Smartsound 5.8 file and the plugin for Premier Pro and I now VO.  No music, but the remains of VO when I close the project... I therefore believe that the update of Smartsound must be the culprit.

    Everyone has installed the latest update of Sonic Pro/Smartsound in PP 2014 or 2015. ?

  • Audio/video problems in the Timeline

    Now that I'm about to complete the project that I am working, I encountered a problem with getting portions audio and video of all of the assets of my video to come in the calendar when I drag them on my main sequence. I'm not having this problem if I drag the same assets in another sequence in the same project. What I've done!

    Check your Source patch. I suspect that in the sequence where you have problems, you do not have an audio patchwork of the selected track.

  • Is it possible to group video and audio tracks separately in the timeline?

    Correctly securities are classified as follows:

    video

    audio

    video

    audio

    video

    audio

    I can arrange to look more to:

    video

    video

    video

    audio

    audio

    audio

    Because I can use the two Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro frequently at work, I find more natural if the audio and video have been grouped separately.

    Step forward. PrPro groups in this way, but can't do the arrangement which use PrE.

  • Video does not load in the timeline, but audio only

    I'm trying to drag and drop my tray video media in the timeline. When I drag and drop there is no video. Only the audio file appears in the timeline panel. If create a new sequence of the video, it works very well. But now I can not add the video imported without encountering this problem.

    Help, please

    Check that you have enabled your audio and video on the timeline.

  • Audio not listed is not on the timeline

    When I'm doing drag and drop a video clip on my scenario which, according to the Prime Minister, has an audio clip attached to it... the audio clip part do not appear in the timeline panel, but the video doesn't. Why? If I am in the Panel projects on the far left where I can see all the items in my project, audio and video popular, I can click on the video clip and play and hear the sound, but if I drag this same clip in the timeline without the audio is available in the timeline panel. Seems very strange to me. Other video clips in the timeline have no problem, but this one doesn't. I can even drag and drop video clips with audio in the timeline and they come with audio here but a she refuses despite the fact that I used it in other projects without problem. Someone knows why?
