    Hello

Have you tried reinstalling the audio driver with the driver of one or the other of Toshiba?

In addition, it would be interesting to know what operating system you have.
There is a yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager now?

Maybe you should try to update the BIOS too. If it doesn t work it seems to be time to reinstall Windows. Maybe something messed with the registry or the system.

  • Audio lost after upgrade to Vista on a Satellite Pro A120 PSAC1E

    Hello

I just upgraded to vista and I lost my audio. I tried all the latest orders, still no luck. The pc says the driver is installed and the device works correctly, but I can't hear anything. Volume is 100% also.

    Any ideas?

Well, first of all how someone should provide advice, if you n t write anything on the name cell phone you! ???
Then please provide more details on your laptop!

I noticed the same problem on the satellite U200. After upgrading from XP to Vista there is no sound, but the audio driver has been correctly installed and audio chipset has also been recognized correctly.

After a long investigation, I found a solution here in the forum.
First, it was important to increase the volume to the maximum with XP installed. Together sound controls must also be set to max.
Be sure to use the RIGHT driver sound after the new installation of Vista.
    Not all drivers are working!

I ran the windows Upgrade Advisor 7 and it says that my phone is compatible but I seem to have lost my sound. The laptop will play the startup chime when I turn on but that's all, so it must be possible to get sound to work, right? I ran all the on-board diagnostics and it says everything is working properly, but which is clearly not the case. Any help is appreciated.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Communities.

I wish to inform you that HP has not released Windows 8 compatible drivers for model G60 - 533 CL.

The reason why you are facing this problem may result from a lack of drivers for your hardware.

I suggest you try to install all the drivers for your hardware in compatibility mode and check. You will first need to download all the device drivers on the HP site for model G60 - 533 CL and then install them in compatibility mode.

Visit the HP website for model G60 - 533 CL to download device drivers: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=4041422#N1993

  • Audio lost when downloading on Facebook

I use first element 14 to create a video that I will upload to Facebook. In my video, I have a background music, which is in the piece of music, and the voice that is the way with his video. When I export the video on my computer everything works fine. However, when I download video on Facebook the voice in the video get lost and you can hear the music. This happens if I upload the video that worked perfectly in my computer or when I first download directly on Facebook. The same thing happens when I copy the video exported, which worked perfectly on my computer, on my Galaxy S7; no voice of the music alone.

    Any help will be appreciated,

    Enrique

Your audio mono dialogue is most likely on a left and right stereo track out of phase. A quick fix is to complete the filling with left audio effect defective components or follow. Thanks to Richard.

  • Audio lost in CS3 on PC

I just changed some MP4 files that I had converted to AVI using Neoscene of Cineform.  My original dimensions of the movie have been cropping the output so I created a new project with the release of correct size.  Then I copied and pasted the chronology of the old project into the new project.  He brought to everything and it worked fine.  Then all of a sudden the sound stopped play. I have the audio from the video and a reading of MP3 audio track 2.  I can play the mp3 from the location and the audio is fine.  This is true for the original video clips as well.  But when I play the timeline there is no audio data.  Audio icons to the left of the track are which means that the tracks are on.

    Any ideas?

Research your steps to make the frame of the Match, I don't know if I have communicated properly.

In the timeline panel, drag the CTI, it is more a Clip offending. Click this item, Select it, and then press the M key. Now do you see the waveform display and hear the sound when you play the timeline?

In the Source monitor Panel and also the player littly in the project Panel, go back to your original source file, they have to play the Audio very well. This is the Clip in the timeline, who lost the Audio.

Copy and paste can work, can work for a while, but often will result in the loss of Audio.

    Good luck

  • Audio lost when you import a file mpeg in 1.0 video

I have an old version of first elements (1.0), but it worked fine in the edition together video clips and pictures to make movies.

Some time ago I had a few VHS transferred in a digital file, and what they gave me is a big file MPEG (2 GB).

I want to edit this file into segments to put on a Web site, but when I import the MPEG file in first elements 1.0 audio

is lost. File MPEG play fine on my computer...

I tried all the options within the program, but without success.

Normally when I make films I use AVI files to the format, so maybe there is a problem with the MPEG format?

    Any suggestions?

An MPEG can be converted to AVI?

Yes, sometimes a few flavors of MPEG can give you funny results (i.e. no audio or audio synchronized).

MPEG Streamclip and "Prism" are free utilities that can convert your MPEG in a DV - AVI. The frequently asked questions to the right of this forum tell you how to use them.

Working on a project I must have done something wrong and now when adding clips on my calendar they transfer from the browser, but the audio is muted. In the browser the audio works fine but once in the timeline, it shows greyed out and there is no sound.

This is a picture of the project; Note the upper clamps with audio muted

any suggestions on how to restore the audio?

  • Replace the video card and audio lost

    I have a HP m7350n desktop under WinXP SP2

    The plug: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00585745

I replaced the video card (original) with a Gigabyte GT 440

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16814125366

The new vid card also demanded a new power supply, so I replaced the original power supply with a Cooler Master GX 450

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16817171060

When I restarted the computer, I noticed that I had more sound. Not sure if it was important, but even after that I downloaded the latest drivers for the new video card, there is still no sound.

In the status bar system (or what is called the lower right view), I have more small icons for audio that I used to see.

If I run dxdiag and click on the "Sound" tab, everything is white with the error 'no sound card found.  If one must, you must install a sound driver provided by the hardware manufacturer. »

The audio jacks are NOT part of either the old or new video card, so I think that the new video card should not cause this.

Could I have missed feed somewhere during the exchange of food? If I remember, I have provided to:

    -2 CD/DVD drives

    -The expansion slot empty

    -The hard drive

-A long connection on the motherboard (it was like 12 x 2 pins)

    -A small connection square to motherboard (2 x 2-pin)

Any suggestions on what I can is dead wrong, or what I need to check? I am a novice at this stuff, so it could very well be something stupid.

Also, I suppose, it does not matter, but I also added memory 2x1GB sticks in the empty slots (who does not see the PC, but that's a separate post)

    Thanks for the pointers

    Hello:

I see an HDMI port on the map output...

Why what happened?  The answer is that your video card has HDMI that requires a separate HDMI audio chip on the video card. So yes, your videocard DID cause it happens because the PC has picked up map video, disabled the car video (if you have an onboard video) and also disabled the audio system integrated, take on it for audio HDMI on the video card.

The solution is simple, but almost no one knows about it, so I wouldn't say it's something stupid...

Go into your BIOS. Looking for an embedded audio setting. It will be either disabled or Auto. Change the setting on " Enabled".  Save the setting here where you made the change, and again when you exit the BIOS.

When the PC restarts your integrated sound card needs to be restored, and you will also have the use of your audio HDMI when you plug an HDMI cable to your TV.

  • Audio lost after the cell is located.

I lose audio after I used the computer for a while. When I'm cold first boot, the audio works fine, but if I let the laptop sit for a while or surf with using audio, it stops working. If I do a restart, still no sound. I have to start cold, (turn off the computer and then press the button) for its return.

I think I found the problem, well well what was going on. When the power settings were to darken the screen, Beats Audio would go to power saving mode and when I went to use the computer again, the audio not come on again.

I went to the rhythms of noise emissions, under the advanced screen, was a place to use the thigy for energy savings. I changed it to not allow the adjustment of power, work and have not had a problem. Now to know why when I used the computer, its not on again.

Thanks for looking, hope this helps

  • Audio lost after buying first pro

    Hello

I worked on a project using the trial version and when it came out I bought a license how some of my clips were marked offline. When I create a link to the media (never moved in the first place) I get an error as follows:

Any idea what I can do to get my project back to usable state? The clips provide audio but first seems to completely ignore!

    TIA

    Marcin

Clear your cache of media and the media cache database files, which will probably take care of that. Otherwise, rename the files that the media is and then re - connect.

  • Audio lost after plugging

I created a project with a creation of branch. On slide 7, the learner has one of two options, if they choose option 1, the Directorates-General of the project to slide 8 slide 30 breaks (that part works very well), if they choose option 2, the branches of project to slide 31, at that time the project loses audio. If I find out each slide in edit mode the audio works well, this problem arises when I discover the project.

Anyone seen this before? Anyone can understand how to solve? Thanks in advance for your help.

I continued on this troubleshooting. The original project was created with the previous version of Captivate. After the update to Captivate 2, I opened new project for adding additional slides. The slides where the audio didn't work on branching are the slides created with the previous version of Captivate.

I saved the project to another name. I exported the audio for each slide (slide 31-74) to my hardrive. Then, I deleted the audio for each slide and re-imported the audio from my hard drive to each slide.

This solves the problem. Thanks to everyone who looked at it.

  • Movies transferred to Mac will not play audio

I have some videos from my laptop that I saved on my desktop Mac. They had audio on the laptop but now I noticed there is no option for sound on the Mac, but the videos play without a hitch. Now this is not a huge problem except that my laptop recently crashed and I can no longer log in and access my files. Then these videos are, roughly speaking, no longer needed. Is there any application or any situation to extract audio lost for my videos?

If the problem is a lack of support from the audio codec on Mac, then try the VLC Player for free.
