Audio mixer on the export

It is a hybrid first / Media Encoder question I think. I use the latest version of CC for each.

As a FCP7-> convert Premiere Pro, I used useful people on the forum here (thanks!) to find a way to have put in place for 2 discrete audio channels by using these sequences sequence settings: multi-channel, 2ch, Adaptive tracks (alternative assignments tracking: A1 to Master 1, A2 to Master 2, A3 to Master 1, Master 2 A4) etc.)

90% of the time, exports keep this audio structure and all is well. Sometimes, even though we love downmix our audio Mono or dual Mono.

I tried to set up and test a preset to export, and I chose MONO as the channel setting because by of Media Encoder help page about the audio export settings:

"If you choose a number of channels have in the master track of a sequence or project, mixture of Adobe Media Encoder audio."

However, while they inspected the files after completion, Media Encoder never actually remixed the master 2 follow channels, it seems just thrown on Master 2 c., leaving 1 c. as the only channel.

For this specific case, I'm using H.264 with AAC audio for output format, but I noticed more or less the same result with the format audio MPEG and other formats like QuickTime.

Is there something I'm missing here?

Thank you!

My experience with multichannel, it is normal behavior.

To replicate old FCP7 workflows school with that you might be best served:

other titles in the mono source

Mono timeline tracks which are odd panning left right even to a

sequence of stereo .

Will give you 2 separate mono outputs ('Left' and 'Right'), in which concerns them outputs multi-channel, but not downmix to mono properly.

With your current sequence you can replicate this by adding:

a stereo audio submix1.

then to route all audio tracks of timeline to this 'submix1' rather than ' master.

and then set pan left for odd, just to yet)

a submix2 audio mono (must be added after adding stereo submix1).

You can now leave submix1 routed to master when you want to output stereo,

and route of submix1 to submix2 when you want a mono downmix

(Make sure you use routing track output, rather than sent to feed submix.)

Sounds complicated but it's not really

  • Audio mixing for the preview takes too long

Dear all people on the forum.

I had a problem with the video preview in after effects CC, for awhile. I find the problem that he had just "Audio Mixer to Preview". This process is very long compared to other processes during the preview rendering. When I disable the audio preview on the Preview Panel, the preview began almost instantly after the preview has been triggered. Audios are easier to deal with videos, it's taking boring too long. Also, I noticed that the more layers, the graphics and audio files are added to the file, the longer it takes for previewing start. Help, please!

There is probably nothing wrong. EI audio capabilities are severely limited and it doesn't all in time real mixture worth mentioning. It can only play a limited number of audio tracks in real time, and those who must match the settings of your audio driver, since that's what it is based on. All files that is not conform to the specifications as well as incompatible driver audio settings force resampling. Similarly, compressed as MP3 files, it will be decoded fully first and then mixed. Don't say things could not be better, but you should get used to. If you provide system information and more details about your project it may be possible to certain optimization...

  • Audio Mixer of the AE

    Hello world.

I produced a commercial in After Effects. All audio layers I use are periods up to and nested within a model. Is there a way I can import this model including only audio layers in a sequence of multitrack Audition for sweetening and final mix?

When I import a model of normal After Effects import file, it's just a .wav. I would like to have all my layers. Is this possible? And otherwise. It would be a great feature to have.

    Looking forward to some suggestions.

    Concerning

You might be able to import the AE project first then hearing there.

  • Audio effects delayed the implementation

I have a documentary type sequence, I'm about to finalize. I've implemented a number of audio effects to remove static (e.g., DeNoiser) that sound great on the Board of Directors/pre-production edition. I have audio clips 20, and each audio clip of clear sound effects.

When I exported the sequence, however, something goes wrong every time. I tried three times (tried exporting as wmv and avi) and the same guard question arising therefrom. For about the first three seconds of each audio clip in the exported videos, audio effects sound as if they are not implemented. After three seconds, it reformats almost itself, apply audio effects, I added initially. I returned and erased each and every animation audio effect, thinking that maybe the problem, and the issue is not resolved.

This is a flaw known when using noise.

  • Get a good Audio mix

    SPOILER ALERT - rookie here...

.. He is improving, but I had some trouble getting a good final audio output.   There are 2 tracks, dialogue and music "background."

and I mix basically to lead the dialogue sometimes (while reducing the music), or vice versa, depending on the clip.

I use the audio mixer with the 'Touch' of automation method.  In fact, my first burn was a "mix" acceptable, although

the OVERALL level was too low, so I remixed, turning down of my computer speakers and following each track a little warmer.  I'm a little

confused as to what meter should I watch - the main meter in the mixer or the meter that appears alongside of the

timeline, which seems to vary somewhat.   If I use the meter of the timeline, it is difficult to get it up to - 12 dB and the meter of audio mixer

doesn't seem to be adjustable.    Often, the audio dialog box 1 can be quite high, but the output volume is not much.

I also played with the industry to standardize and discovered that if I put it in, say '-8db, "

He charges for a while and gives me an error message on the subject of having to go to 0db, so don't not possible.  I lived a few tuts

but not finding some of the fundamentals, I think I need to get this right.  In short, the mixture is pretty good, it's just that the final output

level seems too low.   (I play to about 85% of the volume on the dvd player).   Maybe THAT is much ado about nothing, and

It is perfectly normal, but I don't know enough yet to know one way or the other.    After having worked with vecteurscopes and RGB parade

for awhile, I find it comforting for the system to tell me if it is correct, rather than rely on my own observation, although I guess that's

What must prevail at the end of the day.

Nesting means adding a sequence to a second sequence, as if this first sequence was a regular video.

Gain is added by right-clicking on the clip.  You will see the option there.

  • Exporting audio mixer effect is not to the final video.

I had a problem in the last month. When I do a mix using the mixer Audio Panel to apply the effect of amplitude "Multiband Compressor" to a channel and the "dynamic" on the channel master, everything works fine and I can get a clean mixture in the sequence with voice and music with 20db of separation during live play. For example, the track VO is about - 2 dB. The music is - 20 dB or less Ch2 on.

But If I now export the sequence into mp4 H.264, it seems the audio effects of layers are not rendered in the audio track or levels are reduced by - 7db at-10 dB. If I export the movie as a mp4 and report audio VO first raises around from - 9 dB and the music-20db. The music is invading the VO. So, I thought maybe the problem is that the effects of channel of the audio mixer Panel are not rendered in audio tracks.

So I started to do some tests, If I have the same sequence of export in "Preset" H.264 Vimeo and then export to ProRes of Apple Quicktime mov audio is completely different levels. I have no idea why. Here is a screen shot of the same sequence, with compressor on, exported and re-imported in the mp4 and .mov.

    Screen Shot 2016-06-10 at 4.25.34 PM.jpg

Same sequence exported as mp4 AAC 320kb

    Screen Shot 2016-06-10 at 4.53.35 PM.jpg

Then exported as uncompressed audio file.

    Screen Shot 2016-06-10 at 4.53.44 PM.jpg

Any other test I can do. This is confusing me.

    Thank you

Do similar tests with 1 k tone would be useful, you would have then exact db number to work with.

  • export a project with several audio tracks changing volume level regardless of the export format

Recently, I had to submit a TVC and discovered this first changed the power after export level, when the TVC has no quality control.

I checked the sound intensity of other formats that I had exported and the same thing happened the sound intensity, she had changed.

After a bit of troubleshooting, I've found a workaround. I have mixdown all tracks in adobe hearing to a track and then imported it in first.

Once I did the sound intensity did not change after the export.

"Workflow" for when it did not work.

I used the edit in adobe for audio tracks from first hearing.

Corresponding to the audio for the power level, I wanted to and then recorded each track.

    Export first.

    To check the sound intensity

Put in the file exported in new project first

    Edit audio in adobe hearing.

Drag the audio file in game audio to check the sound level.

    I use

    Adobe first Pro CC v8.1

    Windows 7 on PC

    Fix this adobe.

So you should use Loudness Radar in the mix... .to requires the specification of the broadcaster.

Your workflow such as described did not understand that.

  • Icon "Are the selected markers to separate the export audio files" is grayed out outside in the markers window. The titles show starts but no end of times, and yet time is calculated.

I have a large wav file to finish securities as a mixer and inserted the CD markers where I want the marked pistes. Icon "Are the selected markers to separate the export audio files" is grayed out outside in the markers window. The titles show starts but no end of times, and yet time is calculated. Why can't I export those items marked as separate files?

You must make the markers of track in regions for the Export of work function. Make sure that you have placed a marker at the end of the file, as well as at the beginning of each track. Then select all the markers in the marker list by left clicking the first then shift left click on the last. You can then merge markers in the channels using the comb as icon (3rd from left) at the top of the list of markers. You will then be able to export the lines marked as separate files.

  • I do not get audio when I the central channel in the mixer audio surround solo

I tried and looking for days as to why I can't hear the sound when I put the audio puck into the central channel and turn the Center to 100% and it solo.  The same thing happens to the LS and RS when the washer is in L or R.  I have a Max of Mini Matrox as capture and output.  Volume indicators show sounds and I can double click on the channel and hear the sound with the mixer audio clip, but not with the audio mixer. I managed to create the Blu Rays using surcode and LS and RS out, but no center channel.

It must be something simple but I can't find anything on it to help.  I have Adobe CC (2 weeks ago) on a clean machine with the latest Matrox drivers.

The problem seems to be fixed.  I'm not positive as to why, but here's what I did.  I created a new project and quite well done what I did before (I think).  The only thing that I know that I have done differently, is that when you export audio with Surcode, I chose Bluray as the "target".  It offers 3 targets.  1 Dolby 2. Dolby 3. BluRay.  It is default to Dolby and their site does not (or not) have a view of the documentation updated or explaining what these objectives are or what they do.  Apparently, this option is brand new.  However, Surcode people contacted me after I did and insisted that the change of objectives would have no effect.  It works now and I stick to the workflow that worked.  I bought the Surcode Plug and it of real quick and looks very good.  Another 6 takes the file without the need for transcoding.

  • Different sound level on the exported audio files?

Today, I opened Audition, created a session multitrack with sampling frequency 44100KHz, 2 channels (stereo) and 32-bit depth.

I tried to merge a part of a song with the rest of another song, but I realized that the hearing has a low sound level as Windows Media Player or any other media player.

I looked for any configuration that could make WMP change the original sound, but he did play the song with the original sound level

If I have the low sound of hearing was something that wouldn't stay in the exported file.

But he did! And it was always like that, not just today.

    What should I do?

It is not entirely clear as to where is your lower level, but if you're talking about level hearing on the mixing being 3dB lower than what happens when you play multitrack, then the answer is simple - you need to reset the pan law-3dB center left/right cut (logarithmic) - this option is in the preferences > multitrack at the top of the pane. This will give you the same level on a file drop-down mixed or exported as you see on the screen.

But if you talk of levels of listening about, then it is very difficult to make useful comparisons to all levels of output. WMP and hearing use drivers and completely different engines, to the sounds of Windows via the Windows mixer - which changes even when reading levels. Hearing, if it goes directly to an audio device via an ASIO driver, don't get disturbed by the operating system in the slightest (that is the idea...), but if she gets plugged into the operating system for the output, then once more, the level can be changed through the Windows mixer.

But in the final analysis, it's not really important. Hearing files can be standardized so that the peaks are just below 0 dBFS, and if you do that, they will play correctly on any other player. If they seem to be more silent, it will be because of the overall volume of the file, and it is a decision of mix - nothing to do with the format of file at all. And this is often a problem with the mixture of two songs from different sources together - if it is been compressed a lot to make it sound louder and the other does not, while the levels will never match perfectly to the join, whatever you do. Your only recourse here would be to compress the most calm one more to match the first - but that 's going to change the sound, probably in ways you might not like.

So, quite a lot of options, really.

  • Windows Movie Maker - Audio only, which plays in the exported project

    Hello.

I did a project in windows movie maker with video and audio files. Project perfect cheek (the two audio/video playback) in windows movie maker when I am in the phase "creation/editing. When I export it and save the project as a. MP4 or. WMV file and try to play in Windows Media Player, Quicktime or VLC, as the audio of my theatre project. There is no video. However, when I play the other. MP4 files or. WMV files via these media players, they play very well. So I think that the problem is with the export of the Movie Maker project. Also, thinking that I have perhaps incompatible video files to Windows Movie Maker, I tried just using Jpeg files with audio to create a slide show, thinking that it would work with standard Habitat. Yet once, however, that the audio is played with a project containing pictures (no video). Any ideas?

Audio was working fine, just no photos or video showing once the project has been saved as a movie. So, I tried your solution of creating a short slide show with photos only and no luck. I uninstalled and reinstalled movie maker and still no luck. Downloaded the pack codek for windows 7 and still no luck.

So, I decided to download the Vista windows movie maker for my OS to windows 7 and everything works like a charm. Don't know how or why, but the version of Vista is flawless on my windows 7.

Thanks for your suggestions. I appreciate the help.

  • Audio glitch at the end of exports of EI

I've just updated Media Encoder at 10.3.0.185 and Adobe After Effects to 13.8.0.144 (running on Windows 10). Since then, I've been meeting a glitch in the audio of any After Effects projects that I exported out of Media Encoder. Everything is going well for most of the video, but as I reach the end of the exported video, the audio starts to double or to cut and move to another part of the track.

It does not exist in the AE project or the original audio track, nor does it occur on any video I export directly into After Effects. I tried to export with h.264 and Quicktime, with a variety of presets for both, for consistent results. If I export a video directly from AE, then re - encode the video in Media Encoder, so the problem does not occur.

I use this workflow without problem for a while now, so I can't imagine anything else that I do other than the software update. Someone else has experienced this problem / have tips on how to solve this problem?

    Hi Liam.N,

Sorry about that. We have a fix in the next patch. Recommendations and workaround are here: Re: last second audio skips and repeats after upgrade 2015.3

  • Audio skips out of sync in several places when the export of the first pro

I have a short, 15 minute, turned to 23.976 FPS.  When I export to load in yet somehow audio jumps not synchronized to several different places.  The weird part is that in all cases there are 2 people in the scene and that a single audio out of sync breaks people.

I went through all the audio files in the sequence in Premiere Pro (CC) and the audio fits perfectly even though I play in first.

I checked and double checked settings FPS in first and still, as well as other parameters such as the video and audio format audio sample rate, etc., and everything is consistent.

I'm exported from Premiere pro using the "Multimédia" option and choose MPEG2-DVD, NTSC, 720 x 480, progressive quality of 23.976 FPS, 100, CBR, target 9.00Mbps, with audio PCM, 48 Khz, stereo, 16-bit output.

    Source sequence is 1920 x 1080 (1.0), 23.976 FPS, progressive, 48000 Hz, stereo.

I also used Media Encoder on the same sequence to create an MP4 file and that seems to come out perfectly synchronized throughout.   So, I'll try using media encoder to create a .iso file, if possible.

I'm new to this, all the words of wisdom or of things to check would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks, Bobw

Voice out of sync with the lips.  I look for "bilabials" (P, B and M) in the speech, then make sure that the sound correctly synchronizes with the lips.

I guess we can do exactly the same with notes on an instrument if it was of expert musicians.

In any case, I turn on the "show time audio units" and then carefully align the appropriate sound with the position of the pack language appropriate lip. Often it's 'zoom' on the frame and audio tracks and the cleaning back and forth several times.

OK, but let's go back to my problem.  That, it turns off does not exist.  I treat so badly that I had to remove the camera and audio sound recorder and sometimes contract between the two during a audio jack.

AND, I actually had audio out of sync by about 3 images in three different places in my sequence, in one place.   And Yes, I looked at dozens of times and convinced myself that it couldn't be my work because I had "checked" so many times.

This was caused by a drawing of lots of last minute "tweaking" and "assume" that the settings I made did not affect the video tracks & audio following.  (HINT: it is almost always if you don't take extreme care and seems sometimes even when you do.)

AND I also had a "nested" sequence I had absolute fits for audio, synchronize perfectly on.

BECAUSE...   I had 'nested' video but I have NO audio with her nest.

.... The "Lesson Learned" here is: "If your export ends with audio out of sync quit"guess"that it is impossible because of your Premiere Pro sequence is wacked"
