Audio problems with Vista

audio is present, volume is set to 100 for maximum audibility, but it is still extremely low despite the update of drivers. At the same time (actually quite frequently) audio turns off by itself and I don't have infections or corrupted files. Any recommendations? I use a sigmatel high definition audio CODEC device. Help, please. Thank you

Sometimes during typing on vista, it will stutter and freeze. The time is very short. Is this a problem with vista or the laptop. The T7300 Core 2 Duo 2 ghz processor.

    Hello

I have a Satellite Pro S200 and the same problem was with my camera. It s is not a hardware problem, it s more a driver related issue No. So, the best thing you can do is update your bios and keep your drivers up-to-date. Just check the download Drivers Toshiba site and make sure you have the latest drivers installed.

I had resolved my stuttering (core2duo 2.33 Ghz, 2 GB RAM) by updating all drivers...

    That's all

  • Compatibility problem with Vista and iTunes

I downloaded iTunes 9 on my Tobisha laptop Satellite last night and put about 2.5 GB of music on it. I didn't upload the music from the internet. I used MP3s, I had for a few years.

When I went to boot up the laptop this morning the loading process took some time, but it never loaded to the login screen. I just see the bottom of MicroSoft. Is there a compatibility problem with Vista and iTunes? Maybe I put too much music on my laptop?

Boot in safe mode and delete iTunes and all the music I downloaded would solve the problem? Or it is less simple than that?

Don't know where to direct this question if any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hello

iTunes is compatible with Vista and there should not be any problem.
Yesterday, I installed iTunes 9 on my U400 and everything happened correctly.
If your laptop can not boot Vista correctly, then you should try the repair feature.

Turn on the computer and press F8. Now you will see the advanced boot menu.
    Now, you have many choices.

As a first step, you should try the option called: last good known Configuration (Advanced)

If this will not help and the Vista will not start then try the option called repair your computer. This option displays a list of system recovery tools, you can use to repair startup problems, run diagnostics, or restore your system.

If that does not help, then you will need to retrieve the unit using the Toshiba recovery disc or HARD drive recovery.

  • HP Envy 23 - K030: Audio problems with HP envy 23-K030 and Windows 8.1

I read all the discussions on audio problems with the IDT High Definition Audio Driver and Windows 8.1
I get audio on my speakers ONLY and not the headset.
I uninstalled rebooted and reinstalled the correct driver by this web site of HP support for my machine.
    no luck - same behavior.

The only thing that worked was the IDT driver installation and Windows device driver high definition.
The headphone jack are properly behaved and everything is ok worked.  However, I lose the audio Panel BEATS and the functions of the Board of Directors of IDT.   (superior quality sound-even with the built-in speakers).

An interesting thing I noticed, when the Microsoft driver is used (and work) on the control panel for this device, it presents "the left panel making" when the configuration screen for the 'speakers '.  for the official driver of IDT, it shows 4 outlets - none of them say "left sidebar", there's rear panel and a plug of façade.    On the old driver that didn't work, he showed "right pane" and there is no control on the right panel.

I think the pilot is simply wrong of this material. The driver is to look 10/2013-it is as if it were updated for this model ALL in ONE - only when it comes to use the headphone jack.

Is there a better driver (I can't "find one beyond 6.10.6486.0 or 6.10.6491 - both had the same problem.)

I do not use my time to often-rarely-last helmet I used them they have worked. Now, they are not - a few automatic updates upset the balance of the force.

Any help would be appreciated. IF not - it is a problem that a person should study.

Also it is reproducible. I have install generic Microsoft driver-headphone jack works and the sound Jack not pregnant, I re - install IDT player - his fate only speakers and not jack.

    I thought about it.

BIOS V 80.09 (on this wonderful site to Support HP) - does all the work

V80.05 - did not work properly with this Version of Bios.

Thank you HP very useful site if you take the time to browse through all the updates.

  • Audio problem with Windows 7

    Hello

I have successfully upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 and I'm very happy with him... except. Audio glitches!
With Vista, I have not had any audio problems but now with Windows 7 I. With the help of the dpc latency checker, I disabled all the drivers I could disable but no result.
    Can someone help me please?

    Hello

What model of laptop do you have exactly?
Have you installed Win7 its the most recent driver for your laptop model?

  • Problems with Vista

I bought a used with a true windows vista PC, and all of a sudden I'm wondering for upgrade to windows 7, which I don't want, can't afford and don't see why I should. What I do, the error message is OXC004D401, and that an unauthorized change has been filed. The only thing I did was to use this utility to fix an audio problem.

  • Problem with Vista, WMP and Creative SB Audigy software

I have an audio continuous problem that I can't find an answer. The computer is a Dell Inspiron E1505 w / Vista Ultimate Edition and a map of its SigmaTel. (computer detailed at the end of the post) I have Creative Sound Blaster Audigy software installed. I have in fact two problems, but I'll start with the first and main one.

The first problem seems to be quite common now and is listed in this link...

    http://support.Dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/DSN/en/document?c=us&CS=04&DL=false&l=en&s=BSD&docid=28DC8E40D7FC2B06E040A68F5B284B0F&doclang=en

Deactivation of improvements solves this problem, HOWEVER... The only problem with that is that I then cannot use my Creative SoundBlaster HD audio software and am limited to graphic equalizer in WMP. I would prefer not to have to do, the software allows a significant improvement in sound quality, and it was not free.  None of the other things to try to disable helped either.

Now my other problem, which is currently more emergency. This problem occurs when the Sound Blaster software is activated. Every so often in random conditions, I'll bring your computer and the sound quality is totally messed up. It's hard to describe, but fundamentally, it becomes really tinny and hollow survey, w / no bass... totally looks like crap to me. As I said, he would only do this every once in awhile and it occurred in general if say, I put the computer in standby mode, unplugged, then took... or a random combination of those involving removal electric a/c. It used to be I could just do a system restore to the last restore point and might solve the problem. But the last time this happenend has not all restore points, I've tried and now I'm stuck w / either its hail and shabby (active SB), or disable the improvements and just using the equalizer WMP!

I enjoy music and plays the music on my computer all the time. I want to at least be able to use my software again, but if anyone knows anything of these problems, I would be very happy to help. Thank you.

  • PCMCIA.sys problem with Vista on Satellite M40 135

    Hello

    (Sorry for my English)
I tried to install Windows Vista on my Satellite M40-135. (I added the 512 MB of RAM).

But, like all users, I have the problem with pcmcia.sys. Vista starts successfully when I delete the pcmcia.sys file.
But I have a problem: I have a PCMCIA TV and I could not use it without the pcmcia.sys file...

So I was wondering if Toshiba will download the new drivers for Windows Vista... This laptop is 'Vista capable' according to Microsoft System requirements...

    Waiting for your help...

Unfortunately, it seems that the snipe is right.
Can the hardware specifications of this laptop allows you to install the Vista
but it seems that Toshiba has decided to publish no Vista drivers for each series laptop.

  • Problem with vista 64 - not another update

I am running vista 64 ultimate sp1 and for some reason, I can't take

    Update cumulative security for IE7 for Win x 64 (KB972260) 8007371b
    SP2 KB94865                                                                         800F081F
    IE8 for vista 64 8007371b

I have tried and read all what google can find
    I ran the Fixit
    I ran sfc/scannow - no problem
I ran the tool - no error
I disabled and then uninstalled mcafee
I disabled at startup, which was not microsoft
I tried as well the update of windows and programs stand-alone installation for all updates 3 - no difference
reinstalled windows update customer... no diff
tried in safe mode - same mistake
renamed caroot2 and software distribution directories - nope

I'm starting to think this is a problem with ie and you cannot uninstall it. I tried to install these updates several times and I got other errors and even once told me I didn't need the update (2260). I think I had a 80073712 and 7000 d also, not sure update. These errors only came once or twice, said them are the main errors

the strange thing is that there still updates
It took these updates after the fact

Update security for Windows Vista for x 64-based systems (KB973768)
A security update for Jscript 5.7 for Windows Vista for x 64-based systems (KB971961)
Update for Windows Mail Junk e-mail filter for x 64 systems [September 2009] (KB905866)

Update security for Windows Vista for x 64-based systems (KB970710)
    X 64-September Windows malicious software removal tool (KB890830) 2009
A security update for Windows Media Format Runtime 11 for Windows Vista for x 64-based systems (KB968816)

These upates are more recent than those that it won't take.

I even tried to reinstall an update but after sitting between 4-5 hours and thinking that he was going to work, he stopped on the last line to 60% and pops up a message saying that he could not continue and it has been reinstalled the origin o/s. I think that this may be due to fact I said to take updates, maybe I should not have.

  • Problem with Vista SP2

Hi, I am posting this for a friend who is computer illiterate

She recently bought a Dell Inspiron 1545 of PC World, I did all the Microsoft updates & then handed to him only to find a few days later, when she went to assistance & some of the images have been only partially displayed. PC World said that it was probably a problem with updates & would be 'Mater itself. " Ultimately, we decided that I would do a recovery of the system from the recovery partition. I made & then downloaded the first batch of updates & images were very good, it was only after the installation of SP2 that it happened again. It is fine when it is connected to the internet but not in offline mode. I posted an example here

    http://i46.Photobucket.com/albums/F106/barrythegreek/capture.jpg

There is help & Support - The Desktop (overview)

I asked on the Dell Forum & nothing. I hope that this is a known problem & will set a new update but I don't know.

    Any help appreciated. TIA

    My answer:

    Hello Barrythegreek,

Thank you for choosing Microsoft answers forums for Windows Vista.

You can try uninstalling and reinstalling the video drivers.

Also try to run a file system check.

To do this, follow these steps:

    1. open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.

    2. type the following command and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command. analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

  • Audio problem with nitro v15

Hi, I'm on this forum (AGAIN) because I have an annoying problem.
Sometimes my sound card randomly stops working, I have a red x on the speaker symbol and an error sayng something like "no audio output device installed. Looks like it fixed itself aver a FULL stop, but when I have this problem the pc cannot yet completely shut, it crashes after shutdown with a black screen and the fans of coling at max speed, and I have to force by pressing the button.
The last time that this happened, that I also had a bsd at the first boot sayng System Service Exception associated with rtkvhd64.sys.
    I
already tried to restore, I removed and reinstalled all drivers, nothing works. Once o twice a day I loose that my sound card and I need to do a full restart closure of the pc in the brutal way.

I'm starting to get tired of this pc, I already changed it TWICE for problems with the trackpad, I bought another in another store that has no problem with the touchpad, but now I have this problem which is even worse.

Personally, weather or not, I have this problem will be solved, I will NEVER buy another acer pc. I'm running to / from the store with this thing for 3 weeks now, how can we Acer set up a portable 1200 euros in this way?

    http://community.Acer.com/T5/V-and-VN-series-laptops/VN7-592G-blue-screen-after-installed-Windows-10...

In this section there are other people with the same problem (and a possible solution).
I really hope this is the last time I have to lose a week to trubleshoot this laptop.

  • problems with Vista and msn

my laptop had vista business on it originally, it crashed a year ago and the store put windows 7 Home Edition premium on it, last week I had to have my hard drive changed due to problems with it and computer scientist put my vista business back on it, I thought I was brilliant as always I like vista , the problem is now I can not MSN up on it it keeps saying IE he blocked, IE 9 will not download, I play Facebook games and many of them won't load properly, tried to install service pack 2 for vista and it goes on to say that I have to install service pack 1 in the first place , its already there and updated pack 2 but still will not download. Someone at - it answers or useful tips or advice they can give me to have an entirely new work laptop

Yes 100% positive sp 1 is installed and updated, already tried all the links you have kindly posted, was trying to do it for 12 hrs before I posted this question, I have 64 bit but that he already knew who didn't need the computor to tell me, I finally returned to the it guy and he discovered that the lap top returned to the original IE 7 when the hard drive has changed it dosent msn so therefore all the problems, he finally put IE 9 for me and the two vista service packs and support now msn works finally done my f/b, so Happy Days
