Audio slide on the timeline

I have a scratcher real head of team here. For some reason any certain audio files don't drag on my schedule and others, I honestly can't understand it because they are all the same music files downloaded from first pro so it makes absolutely no difference with each clip except the title of the song, a few songs made drag and for others, there is simply no option to drag on. I just get angry hand with the sign 'don't go'. Perhaps PP CC 2015 do not like some song titles?

Help, please.

You will need to patch the track source before inserting clips.

  • is there a way to NEST or MERGE videos and keep the audio waveform in the timeline?

    Hi guys,.

I was struggling with solutions for my workflow.

I do a lot a microphone on a single video track changes. Then when I want to apply and modify the presets, I must apply the effects on all the small changes (sometimes 100 edits in a 3 minute clip).

So I learned about fusion - but the merger does not allow you to modify the effects in the batch. So in the above example, if I want to make a change in an effect in a merged item, I have to hold single OPTION click on all editions of 100 and then adjust the effects.

Then I bent over the NESTING. It works pretty well because it transforms all 100 mounts in 1 clip and I can't batch "edict", which means that I can change the effects on all editions of 100 at a time (because it's now 1 clip on the timeline). "

However, the problem I have now nesting is... get rid of the file audio waveform in the timeline panel. So now, it is difficult to edit audio.

Is there a way to merge, merge or nest together to make 1 clip (like nesting) and also to keep the audio waveform on the chronology of the changes?

    Kind regards

Try the sequence > rendered audio and see if you get a waveform.

  • Why you won't see names of audio clip in the timeline in CC?

It's very frustrating, so I hope there is a solution. I have to be able to read the names of the audio files in the timeline... especially music videos. Why they would remove this feature? Is it possible to get it back? And while I'm at it, why now you expand the timeline tracks to be able to read the names of the tracks? (I have all my track of the label names, but obviously don't want that any enlargement just to be able to read what I wrote every track... it would be a cot in a timeline stir since I was a minimum of 10 audio tracks at all times!)

Thanks for any help on this! I just spent to v.8 CC yesterday and am working on all the kinks.

Hit the key in the timeline panel and check the names of Audio.

I don't see the Audio waveform in the timeline panel. No triangle click button. Just changed pcf. Help!

I solved the problem.  It was just a matter of push lines down and creating a larger space of work for each row of the audio.  Never had this problem at the time of AVID or FCP.  I appreciate your help!

  • How to display the name of audio clip in the timeline?

How to display the name of audio clip in the timeline?  I can see the label for video clips in the timeline, and when I hover over audio clip [I see the label, but otherwise, not l; abels show in audio editing.

    Hi denniscallan,

Audio Clip names are disabled by default in first Pro CC. Turn it on go to the timeline (wrench) display settings in the timeline panel and choose Show names of Audio.

    Hope that helps,

  • You can "zoom in" the audio waveform in the timeline?

Impossible to find a solution to help or the FAQS, so I'll post my first question here :-)

I want to zoom in vertically on the audio waveform in the timeline panel. My situation is that I have an audio mix 24-bit of a concert of classical music with a fairly large dynamic range, is very strong and very quiet bits bits in a single audio file. I don't see enough detail of waveform in the quiet parts, even when I enlarge the track vertically. I did not find a formal way to zoom in, at least in the timeline panel. The display of the audio waveform only in the monitor source offers a vertical zoom.

    Official aid offers only this:

"To see more volume when viewing an audio waveform in the timeline, increase the height of the track."

That seems to imply that "Zoom" in additional to get really quiet parts is not a feature.

I found a bit of a workaround, which is to adjust the gain of the video - audio waveform as a result changes. However, I prefer not to change the volume whenever I need a different vertical zoom on the waveform.

    Thank you

No, you cannot zoom in analogues in the source monitor.

Will be a feature request good however.

  • Cannot delete the audio track in the timeline

    Hi all

Here's my problem: it is not the first time it happens, but to excerpts from different cameras, I'm completely unable to abandon the audio track.
In the source Panel the playbacks of normally with audio clips, but when it comes to insert the clip it does not work as if I'm falling all audio and video clip he simply inserts the video and if I try to drop just the audio it don't let me down anywhere.
Has happened on multiple devices and just on the first CC (I decided to switch to CS5 and I'm already regretting)
I tried to import the file in different ways (by drag/import/media browser), restarts first and pc and transcoding of other codecs, nothing works.

Anyone has any suggestions or has encountered the same problem?

    See you soon

    A

    Hi Andrea,

I'm completely unable to abandon the audio track.

Try making sure that the source of A1 is connected to the A1 channel in the timeline panel, and then drag. More information: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/878527

  • problems with camera .mts Sony PXW - X 70 - no picture, only audio format on the timeline in CC.

I have the Sony PXW - X 70 camera video. I recorded in AVCHD format... the file extension is .mts - when I integrate the CC file I can see the video and hear the sound in the control screen. When I put the video on the timeline, all I get is no video and audio. Also, in the sandbox, I see only the audio symbol on the video thumbnail. When I open the file in CS6, it works fine. So, I try to understand that CC is missing a codec or something.

  • Audio slide play the quiz

    Hello

Need help, please! I have a few slides quiz throughout the project, related to a question pool. Advancing through the quiz, audio of "slide" after the quiz randomly starts to play. Is there anyway to stop what is happening? Using Captivate version 8.

    Thanks in advance.

Make sure to leave space before and after each audio clip on a slide.

  • No audio track in the Timeline

So the ability to add Add Audio/Video tracks to timeline are "gray would be out" and what is even more strange is that they have even one or two tracks that are usually in the timeline, when you open the new project.

    Any help is appreciated.

Try this to create a new sequence:

Or, right click on a media file and select "new sequence of the Clip".

None of these methods will ensure your sequence matches your media.

How to choose the right sequence settings?

  • Buzzing when audio scrubbing in the timeline

    Hello!

I have a problem with the ear-tickling for you!

When I rub streaming audio in my editing panel, a hum occurs, and it will not stop until I have close Flash.

I hear no audio streaming in the background and the sound does not change if I scub other FLAs or timeline positions.

I know that he has isolated Flash because the noise of other programs continues to play very well and the hum stops only when closing the entire program Flash (not only the open project).

    Here's what I'm running:

  • Problem inserting audio track in the timeline

Sorry, I'm a newbie and I'm sure this is a stupid question - but I can't answer myself.

In collaboration with the latest update of Windows CS6 and 1080/60 p video from my Panasonic AVCHD camcorder, I find that the only way I can move a clip to the Source the timeline monitor is drag-and - drop.  Any other method (by clicking on the icon "insert", keyboard shortcuts) moves only the video, leaving behind the audio.

What I'm doing wrong, or what I understand?

Check your targeting and patching for audio tracks.

  • Display Audio waveforms in the timeline, first Pro CC

I just started using the first Pro CC, watched all the turorials and launched a project. I wonder how to view audio in the form of signals in the timeline. I tried suggestions like checking and unchecking rectification of audio waveforms, but have not been able to obtain the actual waveforms in the main timeline. It seems there used to display triangles in a previous version, but there is not in this version.

    Screen Shot 2013-09-07 at 4.05.45 PM.png

You must expand the Audio track (wheel of scrolling in the track header or drag points down)

  • Audio shorter in the timeline

    Good day to all

When I import an asset in again and insert the audio in the timeline is shorter than the video. I exported in body cs6 using preset mpeg dvd, including the multiplexer dvd value, which doesn't give me an mpeg file.

If I delete the .xmpses and the mpeg file exported .xmp files before you import it into encore he rewrites the files correctly

Is there a way to fix this?

    FIle.pngTimeline.png

I saw this same question on the forum a couple of times in recent weeks. Some sort of bug with the multiplexed content. As Stan suggested, don't use multiplexing - is a wrong workflow for reminder. I know you wanted, but apart from changing the rate of bit if need be, the presets work great and have the right settings for still compatible default output file.

The normal workflow of SOUL is to define multiplexing votes to ZERO, resulting in two files .m2v video and audio .wav (uncompressed). It is the DEFAULT value. You also get the other bits you mentioned which carry information on the first chapter markers. The only thing you can change in the settings of export is the speed of transmission for projects longer so that they match the disc.

In Encore, use file > import > like calendar and select the .m2v and all .wav files. This will automatically import as well (if defined in first) chapter marks. The video should NOT be transcoded and audio not compressed will be transcoded directly to high-quality Dolby AC-3, ignorant than MPEG "middle man." Who takes a few moments.
