Audio synchronization to Captivate 7

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone has had problems with the audio broadcast in one Captivate file and how they would say that I sync it?

See you soon

Erika

My suggestion is to not distribute the audio clip of several slides that it can trouble you sometimes when you try to synchronize the objects on the slide with the voice-over.  I advise to make your voice slide by slide and ensure that there is a small gap at the beginning and end of the audio on the timeline so that Captivate don't think he should 'steal' your clips.

  • Add audio to 8 Captivate

    Hello world

Wanted to ask what are the general approaches of the people to the add audio to 8 Captivate?

I think it's quite long and counterproductive to add a voiceover full record for an entire project and divide by the slide markers. Captivate only really seems like you're doing this 'once', as when you save, all lengths of slides are changed to the length of the audio.

The best way I found is to edit and export clips in Adobe Audition, and then import them on a slide-by-slide basis. Even if this is a bit problematic if you have audio to extend across multiple slides in a software simulation.

Thanks in advance for your comments,

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

I prefer to save in hearing myself (control freak), but will also create separate audio clips, one for each slide. I'll import to library, then drag each of them to the slide in the case of slide audio. Good labelling helps a lot.

  • Incorporation of an audio recorder in captivate

    Hello

I want to integrate an audio recorded in captivate so my users can self-register and reading what they have registered as part of the e-learning courses.

Anyone know if it is possible t reach and if so, what's the best way to go about doing and points in the captivate slides?

    Thank you

    Hi Pete

If it is possible to achieve, it would probably be "box you in a bit of a corner" by requiring that you publish only the course as Flash (SWF format) and she would need someone to create a widget that would allow.

But thinking about it, you might be able to achieve using the widget Web object and configure it to point to a web site that could offer this capability. I did a quick Google and found these links that you might find useful.

  • Audio synchronization to the typing Animation

I have found no tutorial on Google that explains this, so I'm keen to know if it's possible in AE.

I have a text animation built in a composition where a letter is displayed at a time, as if it is typed (this is done with a simple typewriter effect). Is it possible to take an audio sound effect file typing (for example a click keyboard) and synchronize so that whenever a new letter appears in the animation, the sound is played? If not, is there another way to have a sound play whenever a new letter appears in an animation of text AE? Maybe by writing an expression?

After the Audio insert slide. Play the slide.

To pause the slide at that time which the ball to appear.

Insert a text caption that will begin in the same position as the read head.

    Repeat steps.

You the balls must be separate text captions. You can then distribute vertically for spacing.

  • audio recording in Captivate 8 for a single slide

When I save a little short tutorial with Captivate 8 for a particular slide, where is he? I am not given a chance to name it, and I don't know where he's going. Typical fool in question, no doubt, but I'm stumped. ??

    Thank you very much!

Look in the library, Audio file. It has a generic name, but you can rename it.

  • The Zoom H2n sound audio synchronization

I just bought a Zoom H2n to record audio accompanying the video from my Canon 1 d Mark IV dSLR.  Today was my first attempt to manually synchronize audio H2n to video using Adobe first Pro CS5 of corresponding Canon.

I recorded a handclap on the DSLR video and audio and at the same time on all channels H2n to serve as my point of synchronization.  My Premiere Pro project is 1080 p, 29.97 FPS.

The problem I encountered is that the audio H2n is out of sync with the SLR Canon digital audio/video of a framework.  I can only move the Premiere Pro audio tracks that contain the audio H2n in discrete images.  I can't change the audio tracks into a framework, but it is what is required to get a precise synchronization.  The clip of final production will contain the audio H2n and Canon video but not audio of Canon.

Most people would probably not noticed that the sound is slightly out of sync, if they saw a clip with audio of half frame to the incompatibility of the video, but I'm not happy to leave it like that.

I am new to this so there is probably an easy fix, but I can't seem to find it.  Can anyone help?  Thank you.  Mardon

If you change the view of the sequence of frames for Audio devices, you will be able to move the audio clip in much smaller increments.

  • Audio synchronization is disabled at the end of the records

    Hello

I have a few tapes. Format AVI which were made earlier this year. The files were made using a black magic capture card and their recording Media Express program.  These recordings are about 2-3 hours long.

I discovered that although the audio is synchronized at the beginning of the records, it is disabled by as much as 1 to 2 seconds before the end of the recording.

Is there a way to first Elements 8 to correct the audio so that it is correctly synchronized during the registration?

    Thank you!

    Welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately, you have filed for the subforum tips & tricks, which is a repository for tips on how to do things in the meadow. Our MOD, Steve, will probably pass this point on the main forum, so that several users can see and respond.

Now, in regards to the AVI, which term is simply a wrapper, and it's what's inside that really matters. This ARTICLE will give you general information.

It is likely that the CODEC of the BM is originally the derivative of synchronization. Dynamic correction of OOS is a little more difficult, that static OOS, but this ARTICLE will return you though the process.

  • Several Audio objects in Captivate 5...

    Hello

I want to create a series of Captivate 5 slides that contain many audio objects, these objects will play the sound associated with a point defined by mouse click, rollover or a similar event.  The blade should stay persistent until the user clicks a button that them will advance to the next slide in which a similar format will be presented.

The creation of the progress button is a simple case, but the creation of audio objects that will play due to various user events doesn't seem so simple, and maybe it's because I'm still finding my hat of timelines of Captivate.

I tried to create slidelets I add audio to and then tried to add the property on working capital to run the advanced measures.  I then created an expression in which I put a script to extract the current image and add value to it so that it would allow the slide to the natural pause point that has been created with the introduction of buttons.  However this led to undesirable effect of simply enable all the sound elements at the same time.  When I spread the slidelets in the time line after the break of the button, only the slidelet was available, as the other were too quirky in the timeline panel and were not visible at the time of the break.

I was just wondering if I'm on the right track here, or if there is a simple way to do what I want to do, which is to allow students to text and rollover/click and hear audio text, or to have a button that will do it.  It might also allow students to see an issue that when you click on the answer will be spoken.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards.

No worries!  Once I was very distressed about something and got a fix here.  The very simple solution - visibility for my items.

I wasn't sure how to create audio on a button, because I have not used this technique before, but I did a little searching around and found this excellent How - to's:

It's for Captivate 2, but I tried on Captivate 4 and it still worked.  I'm sure that it will still work with Cap5, too.  Good luck!

  • Markers and audio synchronization

I would like to be able to synchronize events to match a narration. I imported the audio file into the library and it loaded on a layer, but it does not seem possible to scrub the audio or start then stop the playback head to place a precise marker. Do I need to do it in an audio editor and manually add cue points?

Select the image that begins your sound. Go to the Properties tab and find the settings to 'Sync '. Change the first drop 'Stream' and you will be able to rub your sound.

  • Audio synchronization in flash problems

I is currently experiencing some problems with Flash CS3 audio sync, though I noticed the same problem in Flash 8.

The problem has to do with receives the sound to keep up with the animation. We were all our audio put on a layer in the main timeline and set mode sync 'stream '. If audio is all in a single file that runs continuously throughout the comic strip (i.e., the cartoon lasts 4 minutes and the only audio track lasts 4 minutes), it is about half a second out of sync at the end of the film.

However, when it comes to multiple audio files (for example, in a 4-minute cartoon every line of dialogue is its own individual audio file) the noise becomes considerably out of sync - sometimes an audio file will play 4 or 5 seconds before she is supposed to be in the timeline.

Is there a way to solve these problems, and is there more information on why they occur? The last of them seems more outrageous tto me. 4 or 5 seconds out of sync, sometimes only 10 or 20 seconds in the movie, is quite a bit and is not acceptable. I know that a solution has beeen to keep flash files less than 1000 frames in length, but for my work it is simply not possible.

The only way I found to solve this problem is to go to your publication
Parameters and the level of compression set the MP3 to something higher to 16 Kbps. I
set mine at least 24 kbit/s and it will usually solve the problem of synchronization.

  • With audio synchronization

    HI -.
I have a project for which I am asked to synchronize animation Flash audio for 3 to 5 minutes, and it raises a number of questions that I hope I can get answers here.

The only way I can think of really synch those is to embed the audio in the timeline, but 5 minutes of audio will be a very long timeline which I think will quickly become unwieldy.
Is there a limit to how long a timeline can be?
Is there another way to synchronize these without integration of the audio in the timeline?
Can someone point me to a tutorial or an example?

    TIA all suggestions.
    Josh

16 000 images is the limit.
Is there another way? Not that I know of. You can try to break your film in small sovereign wealth funds but
It depends on if the audio has breaks inside where you can splice into smaller audio files.
