  Anyone know how to get the field of VIEW for devices? I need for the application of augmented reality. IM developing point-by-point documentation available AR but I can't find a way to get the field of VISION...

  Get orders for the player and find the control with the ExposureControl type. ExposureControl indicates the aperture value, you should be able to use you to say the angle of the field of vision. Check this, but I think the angle of field of VISION is:

  I want to develop an application of augmented reality for playbook.but that found nothing related to this. Qualcomm API for AR in ios and android only is it worn under qnx or not.

  or via the android app runtime, this can be used on playbook?

  Wikitude said they will provide SDK for peripheral BB10. But no matter what date fixed for version or it supprot on playbook or not.

  I'm sandrine from the India. I'm with knowledge of Java software engineer, Flash ACE and OOP are understandable for me. I'm working on a project of augmented reality. I am completely new to Flash, Adobe community and I have a few questions about the augmented reality and Flash Builder:

  1 flash Builder 4.6 comes with a default Flex SDK of 4.6. However, Flex SDK of 4.6 was not allowing me to compile and run sample files. So I downloaded the version of Flex 4. 0a on Adobe.com. Now, the examples are works well, but is there a problem if I try to deploy these projects in a website or a desktop application? Once the code is compiled into a swf file, the used flex framework doesn't make much difference, it?

  2. the project of the ATR would actually on a Web site, given the different speeds of internet/processor in the world? The effectiveness of the AR project, deployed on a Web site, will depend on the number of triangles in 3D models i.e. files dae? Because according to my understanding of the heavy models means more time to download the flash app in the local browser of the internet and more time to make them by the right papervision 3D engine?

  3. can we develop a stand-alone application of the AR Office using Flash Builder? Using Adobe AIR, we can, I guess. Please see a tutorial, if possible.

  4. I have seen that we can implement multiple-marker-tracking AR the use of vectors/tables in As there performance problems according to the size of the used arrays/vectors.

  5. can you someone please mention some tips to improve the performance of an application of the AR (desktop app and web app)?

  6 What would be, approximately, the cost of the FLARManager, FLARToolkit commercial versions, if you have an idea? I went to their site, but they did not mention costs.

  #1, if it compiles then you don't have a question. There is no reason at this stage do not use 4.6. It should group a runtime in captivity to ensure that computer users won't need to have AIR installed at all.

  #2, Papervision is old. Use Stage3D or a wrapper framework. With regard to the generic "if I download a lot of data will take the user more time to load ', so, of course. Just do not do loading the painful experience. Entertained while they way or ways to display data more sooner rather than later. If it is desirable on the web has more to do with the context of the application and the device displays. In other words, a phone user could find it is easy, but obviously not a desktop user.

  #7, models could be huge, complex or tiny and simple which changes the answer. See the answer to #4. Ultimately most people get on fast networks with mobile and excessively fast on the Office WLAN. Size matters a lot less than 3 years.

  #8, it depends on what you are doing. You have to explain it.

• How to connect a video camera (not a webcam), in a way that Flash player sees as webcam

  I'm working on a project of interactive/augmented reality for a show, where viewers trigger a video by sitting and standing at some point in a room (like the BBC Frozen Planet). My problem is that the image of the webcam we used to capture the audience is not up to the task and produced a really poor quality image. Now I'm trying to fix a video camera with recorder Mini Blackmagic, but Flash Player (standalone) 17 does not recognize the entry as a webcam. So is it possible to connect an external camera flash takes care of everything? Otherwise, can anyone recommend a great webcam, it's SIGNIFICANTLY better than Logitech Pro 910? Thanks in advance!

  Hi, is there reference apps embedded DPS AR (augmented reality) functionality?  If so, are there instructions how to do it?

  Basically, I want to integrate a scanner on my DPS catalog that allows you to play a video when you analyze code AR.

  You must have a JavaScript-based AR-Scanner. I don't know if there is any out there - probably due to performance issues? I know Metaio has a massive SDK with multiple components, but the base always engine requires you to incorporate in native code

• SUCCINCT HTC Hero vs Palm Pre summary

  All the:

  The other hero vs pre thread on this forum is like reading a novel of 50 000 page... not very useful for those who want a quick comparison between the two phones.  I studied and I personally used both phones for hours... under my signature line is a simple attempt to ball-format.

• How to make the object move like mice

  I am now getting a... augmented reality project and I used flash to do this system... my system Maker use face detection and the object as a mouse cursor... means the object moves when the face moves in front of the camera... now I can do it... but I can't do this movement of the object in the frame of the flash... move only in the frame... now I would like to ask how I want to object to move out of the frame... like going inside the computer and can click on any folder (average control the computer as mouse). can someone help me?

  You cannot control the mouse of the user outside the flash scene (thankfully), and I don't think you can detect the user with their mouse off the stage with a not installed (that is to say, projector or air) flash application.

  It should list the volts/amps for 12 volt rail, it's what is needed to feed a GPU is not enough and the GPU will have problems running. If it does not show one, you must contact the HP support for additional details on POWER supply.
