Authorization error in opening word 7file in acrobat pro

I can create a pdf from Word 7, but could not open the file from acrobat 9 pro.  When I sent the document in they said that he has not been executed thanks to distill.  When I opened the Distiller and open the file, I get an error standard, content not emptied, none out.  My word documents 7 are saved as docx - must be post script?  I am totally confused with acrobat. I read the help files - but when I followed the instructions, nothing changes.  I don't have any game of passwords or permissions - why do we say that I don't have permission to open the file?  I'm the only person using this computer and the program.  I bought this program specifically to "distill" my word files and can't seem to find a way to do it.

Thank you!

I will try to answer some of the questions. I could spend the graphic problems for those who do better in those, or at least don't expect a lot of any answer I give in this area.

PDF Maker with AA9 uses a different process than previous versions where PDF Maker was simply a pre-processor for the printer (insertion of PDF to create links and other brands). I guess you've discovered that PDF Maker does not produce the distilled version you want. I know not why your home printing (think that's what you use) must be version distilled, unless they're trying just to be sure, it is compatible with Acrobat. However, tags and such PDF Maker may be the problem, don't know. In any case, printing to the Adobe PDF printer will create the version distilled as you discovered! There will be no markup, such as bookmarks and hard links, in the printed version.

I will not say PDF Maker do not distill the document, but apparently the message does not give you the results you need. DOC, DOCX and PDF files cannot be opened in distilling. Distiller processes only the files PS and EPS, period. When you try to convert in the menu "create from file" in Acrobat, PDF Maker is basically a process that is used for most of the files if your application has this option. Otherwise, I think they use the operating system print option to print to the Adobe PDF printer. I haven't played much with it and make an assumption of the process.

The complete help in the HELP menu is the manual of 300 or more pages.

Transparency is perhaps not what you think. It is a transparent graphic that allows what is behind to show through in a sense. Several packages transparent graphic support, but Acrobat used to have problems with these types of graphics until the latest versions of little. I'm still not clear as to the way in which it was repaired, but really, I don't use the feature. This is where others should be able to answer much better.

I'm also weak on the use of grayscale, versus B & W I hope someone goes to solve graphic problems.

    Hi higi97,

How are you connected to the internet? You're behind a corporate firewall particularly safe? You're on Mac or Windows? You have an anti-malware software running on your computer which can prevent applications other than your browser to connect to internet?

You can try the steps below:

    1. close the application of creative cloud.

    2. navigate to the OOBE folder.

Windows: [system drive]: \Users\ [user name] \AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

    Mac OS: /Users/ [user name] / folder/Library/Application Support / Adobe / OOBE

    3. delete the opm.db file.

    4. launch creative cloud.

Let us know if this helps,

    Kind regards

  • After update to open the files PDF Acrobat PRO 9.5.2 VERY slowly

    I use Acrobat PRO on a workstation (Windows 7 Ultimate - SP1)

After the update to Acrobat PRO 9.5.2, all pdf files open VERY slowly (30-60 seconds). It does not matter if the file is local to the workstation or on the network. Also, the file size doesn't seem to matter or if it's the first opened file or a later file.

Besides just opening Adobe Acrobat is all too slow.

I tried to disable the antivirus software. No impact.

    Any suggestion is appreciated...

FIXED – rather than trying to fix the program in its current state. I uninstalled Acrobat PRO then relocated to from the original media, apply the updates back to 9.5.2 and - Oh surprise - everything is nice and fast again.  Other than the 30 minutes or so to uninstall/reinstall, a pretty painless solution.

  • I had a "Code of Exception Error" when I try to install Acrobat Pro 12.0 Win for students and teachers.  Now that I can do to fix this?

I met a Setup error when I tried to install my recently purchased (on August 11, 2015) and validated copy (i.e., the license to use) of Adobe Acrobat Professional 12.0 Win EU, of JourneyEd.com.  I was able to successfully download the executable file {JourneyEd.exe} with the JourneyEd.com provider.  However, when I tried to 'RUN' and 'INSTALL' this program on my laptop for home/student, I got a 'CODE of ERROR"pop-up dialog Windows version 10, which says something about the"PROGRAM FAILED TO INSTALL".  When this happened, I have closed all open applications on my PC, restarted my PC, and then I tried to launch the installation process, a second time.  Unfortunately, once again I got the same 'CODE ERROR' of my operating system of Windows 10.  In my attempt to resolve this issue, I am returned to the "DOWNLOAD" URL and try to download another copy of the executable file (JourneyEd.exe), because I thought that maybe the first copy was somehow damaged or defective.  Unfortunately, the URL of 'DOWNLOAD' I cannot download a second copy of this file.  Now that I can do to fix this?  Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

  • How can I add a stamp to date than auto from the opening, in the new Acrobat Pro?

    I found countless sites that explain how to create in older versions with coding like this (var f = this.getField("Today");
    f.Value = util.printd ("j/mmm/yyyy", new Date());
). I can't find how to create now. I need the date automatically flood the current date at the opening. Help, please!

I'm sorry, I misunderstood your question. When you mentioned "stamp", I thought you meant a dynamic stamp that you place on a document.

The procedure to add a JavaScript to the document with Acrobat DC level is:

    1 select: Tools > JavaScript

    2. Select 'Document JavaScripts' in the toolbar that appears at the top

    3. give the new JavaScript document a name, like "init".

    4. click the Add button

    5. in the window that appears, delete all the code it provides by default (empty function) and enter the code you have posted originally.

At the document level JavaScripts are run when the document is opened, so the code placed there will behave as you wish.

  • Acrobat Pro XI not opening

I'm under CC Suite on a MacBook Pro ver. 10.8.5. I was updating acrobat when I got an error that the comQosants has not ended. When I'm back on the desktop, the icon has changed and I could fall is no longer an Acrobat file. I ran cleaner and it filled and remains unchanged. I decided to uninstall acrobat and reinstall. After the reinstall, he said she finished so I started the process of resettlement. About 2/3 through the installation, it was an error that there is already a version of acrobat on my system. Although the Distiller still works, both have an icon that has chnged to a circle with a line through it. Walker I try to run acrobat I get the following error... "Cannot open the application 'Adobe Acrobat Pro.app' ' because it may be corrupted or inconplete." " Any help would be appreciated I use acrobat every day. Thank you!

It seems that when you uninstall the application, the uninstaller does not occur correctly. Some files may remain on your system. Please try following steps:

1 quit all applications and restart your machine

2 uninstall the software Acrobat Pro

    3. check if all the following folder/file is present or not. If you find one of these files/folders delete them manually:

one) / Applications/Adobe Acrobat Pro XI.

    (b) / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat.

    (c) / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat 11 AMT.

    (d) / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat 11 Helper frames.

    (e) / Library/Internet Plug-ins/AdobePDFViewer.plugin

    (f) / Library/Internet Plug-ins/AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin

    (g) / library/PDF Services/Save as Adobe PDF.app

    (/ Library/Automator/Save h) as Adobe PDF.action

4 remove the following folders in the preferences:

    (a) ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat.

    (b) ~/Library/Caches/Acrobat/

    (c) ~/Library/Caches/Acrobat/

    (d) ~/Library/Preferences/Acrobat Distiller Prefs

    (e) ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Acrobat/

Here ~ represents your home directory. Empty your trash, restart the machine, and then reinstall the Acrobat software.

You should not get any errors now and it should install correctly. I hope this helps.

  • Re: Filled form fields not printing - using Acrobat Pro on Windows 10

I have the same problem, except that there is no system of Mac involved. I've created a registration form to fill live events to a charitable organization for which I work and distributed. I had checked that filled in forms may be saved with their data, but I don't actually print a. Today, I downloaded the form inside and tried to print it. Fixed content of the form prints normally, but the content of the form fields is not printed. I have the print options configured to print 'Document and annotations', as suggested elsewhere. A test, I used Photoshop to open the file. It can be printed (default settings) with the fields filled in displayed as it should show. On my own system I open and print the latest version of Acrobat Professional. I also tried to print from another system, using Acrobat Reader DC - this has also led the white printing. Both systems are running Windows Update 10 anniversary. The original form (empty) can be downloaded from http://ncinvestiture.holysepulchre.net/images/regformnew.pdf. I can send you my completed form if you want to give me the necessary details.

    • Open the document in Acrobat Pro ms
    • use tools > form prepare
    • Double click on a form field
    • change the settings
    • continue with the next field
  • Assign a language of document in Acrobat Pro XI and store in Adobe Reader XI

    Hello

I'm having a problem with Acrobat Pro XI and XI of Adobe Reader. This happens when you assign a language of document to a PDF, Acrobat Pro XI file.

Whenever I attribute to a language of document in Acrobat Pro XI (I do this by setting the language of the document in the Advanced tab of the file properties dialog box [file > properties]) and open the document in Adobe Reader XI, the language of the document is not preserved. Instead, if I check the playback Options (located in the same place where I set the language of the document, the Advanced tab of the file properties dialog box [file > properties]), there is an empty space next to the 'language '.

I'm sure I'm doing things. After all, before closing the document (after the assignment of a language of the document), Acrobat Pro XI wonder if I want to save the changes made to the document. Also, if I open the document in Acrobat Pro XI (after assigning a language of the document) and checking playback Options, it says language I selected next to "language". The problem is that the language is not maintained in Adobe Reader XI, I need whether for accessibility reasons.

So my question: how to assign a language to the document in Acrobat Pro XI and store in Adobe Reader XI?

Here is a screenshot of the same open document in Acrobat Pro XI both Adobe Reader XI to show what I mean:

    AcrobatReaderSupportScreenshot-Language.png

    Thank you for your help.

Assistive technologies (screen readers AT - aka) rely on what's in the tree structure of a tagged PDF document. Try to set the parent top of the language of the structure tree.

    Be well...
