  I'm looking using Captivate quiz in some provided training based on html. I have this type of structure:

  Page html with a conceptual content.

  Html b. with a conceptual content page

  Page c. html which displays a Captivate quiz question

  Html d. with a conceptual content page

  When the user finishes the test successfully at point C, I want to automatically advance to the next page of the html (D).  I'm assuming I could use a tip action in the Quiz properties. In other words, 'the success = Execute advanced Actions', then to run our javascript gotoNextPage() function.  But it does not work. Is there a trick to do something like that?

  If you test this output on your computer, try to upload to a web server and test from there.

  I find a lot of actions executed in Captivate JavaScript works only when the content is served from a Web server.

  I have a folder of photos that I opened to see several thumbnails. I can left click on a picture and it will open full screen. Then I left click on this image and the next should show but nothing happens. I can use the keyboard arrows to move to the next photo, but I can't use the mouse. The left click works for everything I use it for. I've used regsvr32 /i shimgvw.dll and he said DllRegisterServer and DllInstall in shimgvw.dll succeeded. This does not solve the problem. • Slide will not automatically advance to the next

  I have a slide that I need to switch to the next slide after the audio and video playback. The audio and video are both set to play automatically when the slide is entered. All my other slides in the project automatically move to the slide following and some of them have audio and video. If I activate the blade PlaySkin is as I want it, which is to play the audio and the video once and then go to the next slide. However, I don't want the PlaySkin in the lesson at all. This lesson is just a quick tutorial and didn't need the skin.

  When the blade reaches the end of the video, the video will stop, but the audio loops. I don't have the "Loop Audio" active choice. And with only one change the presence of the skin, it works.   Figured it out! All I had to do was select the video and on the timing tab in the property inspector, change the display for: for the duration of the video. They will then advance to the next slide.

  I currently have a slide that plays audio.  While usage is listening to the narration that I can click on three different click the boxes with advanced actions to open and close text boxes, I want the user to read the value.  When reading narrative ends and I'll click on the boxes to click to read a text box, it moves to the next slide.  I understand that I may have to replace the box with smart buttons click but I don't know how to stop the progression to the next slide.  I already have a next button that is put on pause until the user clicks.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I'm on a tight schedule.

  Quickly, I created a sample file, just have a slide with three form buttons that act as the toggles and a next button. The first three buttons break late exactly at the same time and the next button.

  Hi guys, hope you can help. I have 5 questions with audio inside to narrate the question and the response to selection. Once you have chosend your answer, then click on submit button... it waits until the audio ends then proceeds to the next question.

  try setting QuizProperties > Action > success

  "Jump to slide" instead of "continue".

  Do the same for the last attempt.

  So I have completed my course. All along (each slides or so) I quiz questions that are classified but undeclared. They are simply there to prepare the student for the final exam.   I know, it is barely visible, because the line between the inactive and the Active part is black on a blue background (already invited for 6 or 5.5 to change that color...)   It seems this would be a common request, but I can't find a solution anywere.
  Captivate automatically moves to the next slide when the previous slide ends. I would like to stop and wait for the user to click on the 'Next' button on the control of playback.

  Can I have answered my own question, BUT I would like to know if experts here have a better way to do this...

  Solution: Add a new text button to slide 1. Empty the text on this button. Select the option to make the button "transparent". Then copy the button to the Clipboard. Select all of the slides in the project. Hit the dough.

  All the slides have now a 'hidden' object that stops them. They can click on the next button in the playback controls to move forward at the end of each slide.

  I'm new on first so I was wondering if in a slide show, you can move the slide to the slide by clicking the mouse.

  Our units have up to 40 slides each and we also have video clips between some of them and we need to maually move the slide to the slide so that educators have the time for discussion on each.

  You will need to use a program dedicated for it, as a Powerpoint slide show. PrPro is a video program only and will not create slideshows that allow user interaction, away from hit a pause button over and over again... Sorry!
