  If the computers aren't on the same network and and/or that the network is not along the NetBIOS name - then you will need to use the IP address or some form of dynamic DNS.  The alternative would be to change your HOSTS file so that you can give the name you want and not have to remember the IP address that is now associated with that name in the HOSTS file.

  We have a form that requires the user to check a box on medical conditions, they have (e.g. asthma, diabetes, Hypertension).  Later in the form, you must type the same condition in a text box. (I know it's stupid to the double document, but it is necessary).  Y at - it a script that will automatically fill the text box when the check box?  For example, if they check the asthma, the text box on a page in the PDF file will say "Asthma, controlled."  Is this possible?

  You could try to penetrate into this scipt in the text box that will contain the word 'Asthma', as appropriate.

• Auto-fill form fields based on the input from the end user?

  I am currently trying to create a new form that has a combo box 'Locations' with various options.  What I want to do, is to have another car to text field to fill out other fields associated with this location (for example, address, contact information) to save on time and reduce the possibility for the end user input errors.

  What are my options to accomplish such a task?  A form of bonding in the fields with a database of MS maybe?

  You can use the owa_util.get_cgi_env API to get the IP address of the applicant.

  I am trying to build a form using LiveCycle Acrobat but have problems with the drop-down lists.

  Inititaly I just wanted to fill in the fields in a table based on a matching menu selection dropdown in another table.

  I used the following code and it worked fine:

  You use .rawValue in the change event. This will cause problems because the selection of the users has not received .rawValue from the drop-down list at the time when the change event is triggered.

  Move your script as it should to the output of the dropdown event.

I have bound him to a form of the APEX so that when a user enter information through a form he generates a sequence/trigger number and saves it in the column (named tracking_NO)... I use this tracking_no as key for monitoring purposes.
  
  My problem is that when the admin will post information from MS access to Oracle, it generates automatically a number for my column 'tracking_No '... Please advice how to use the same trigger Auto Fill a column (tracking_no) when the value is zero.

• Want to auto fill a context menu

  Hello! I'm looking for a way to auto fill a context menu with the data of a column on a separate sheet. On sheet 1, I have a bunch of product names in column A (with their prices and taxes from columns B.). On the sheet 2, column A, I would choose the products required for this project in a context menu (drop-down) which includes all items on sheet 1, column A.

  I have a lot of products listed in sheet 1, column A, so it is not practical for each context menu manually. I also need to add more products to sheet 1, column a quite regularly, so need it to update automatically. I can't for the life of understand me. Any help would be much appreciated.

  I'm using 3.6.2 for Mac numbers.

  We do not have the feature of auto filling of the popups at this time. In other words, we don't have popups that will update when a column is revised.

  It may be that you work hard for you to complete your pop-up windows. If you have a column of items, select and change the format of "popup" each of these cells is a popup with all values in your column. You can copy and paste them to your other journal and he use it.

  A while back I developed an applescript script to automate this process, but it is still a process that must be run-it introduces himself. Let me know if you are interested and I'll see if I can dig it up.

  You can RIGHT CLICK on the printer in PRINTERS AND DEVICES. There will be a tab RENAME you can choose to change the name.

  You will have to do it on EVERY COMPUTER in the building. The printer itself has a HOST name and is the name of the NETWORK.

  It's about the only way that you can change the name of the printers.

  I'm loading software on to Dell 990 and I'm having a problem chhanging a computer name for the lowercase letters.  When I booted the machine originally I used capital letters in the name of the computer. Now I find that the instructions require that one tiny to join the domain and software respond correctly.  I need to change the name to lowercase. Is this possible without reloading the operating system?
