Auto-Mute microphone and levels to go down to zero

Hi all.

I came to a recent issue with my computer. My automutes micro itself and levels to go down to zero as well. Even if I manually adjust the levels to 100 and reactivate the sound it resets and automutes again after a short period (less than a minute). I have not updated to drivers, but I don't see them being the question because I had zero problems yesterday why the problem would start today I was not to update or install new programs. I tried another microphone plugged into the standard Jack and it does the same thing. My mic is a logitech USB webcam. Any suggestions? I can't seem to find any solution on the web other than what is obvious "Oh reactivate it.

In my view, it is a problem of windows 7 and that's why I came here.

Hey,.

I made a video on how to solve this problem.
You can watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4xQMlZEyr0
I hope that helps!

  • Whistle with ECM - W1M Bluetooth microphone and a3000 camera

Web site of Sony said that the a3000 and ECM - W1M are completely, 100% compatible. I bought the microphone and the receiver lights up on the camera.

I try a lot of things until I decided to try to record with the receiver on the camera, blue light comes on and the microphone and the receiver coupled with each other. I know that through these hoops does not mean that 100% compatibility. anyway.

The problem is that the microphone has a very strong sound when not all the sounds. Example. You turn it on and it pairs. Before you start talking there is a strong sound. Once I have start talking the hiss disappears but comes back if I stop to talk to a down while.

Question to Sony, are Multi Interface devices all different? Sony sells an all being the same and compatible. And I'll be back the MIC because the whistle is going to get better?

    Thank you.

Seems to me that if you have an AGC (auto gain control) turned on. If you are not familiar with the MCO, it does is amplify the volume of the sound entering the camera until he hears it. In other words, it increases the gain of the sound. This is probably why when you talk about the hiss disappears, but he returned when there is only available for noise which is much more difficult for the camera to 'hear' compared to your voice or loud sound source as an instrument for example.

I am not familir with the a3000, but you could look through your menus and see if you can turn off or maybe the audio manual value.

    Hope that helps.

  • Switching between microphone and line-in in the Realltek Sound Manager

    Ok.
Now I know where the Realtek Sound Manager, and I can control the parameters of the microphone and speakers.
But how can I switch between microphone and line-in?
At the moment I don't see a line of component option snap at all. Is it because it's a kind of auto detect and the opportunity every time I connect something?
Everyone knows this, or has some experience in this regard?
    Cordially in advance
    Frans

Sorry but I don't understand what exactly you want.
You have built in mic or you can use the external microphone connected to the mic-in port.
When the external microphone is connected a resident will be disabled.

The question is: what do you want exactly and for what purposes? Please explain what is the reason for this switching between mic and line-in port?

  • W540 - mute Microphone does not work

I have a new W540 and microphone mute button does not work correctly. When I press fn + f4. the red LED lights up, the microphone off on appears on the display and volume for the "Microphone" and "External microphone" controls are muted in Windows. However, always capture the audio from audio microphones and it can be recorded on applications like Skype and Audacity.

Muting manually microhphones through the sound dialog in Windows box has the same effect. The OSD and LED light, but the microphone does not record. From now on, I have found no way to disable the microphone outside the inhibition of sound input in each individual application.

I just tested this, and I get the same result on my W540. Mute microphone lights and Windows says it's dumb, but he is not actually cut.

  • microphone and stereo make a high pitched noise high

HP support assistant unable to height the microphone and stereo is a high-pitched noise, I have a hp compaq laptop

I had this problem and I don't really know what are the causes of the problem (with me anyway), I found this turn of the amp mic off cures the problem, just do a right click on your "speaker" icon, choose recording devices, double-click the microphone tab select levels and turn off the boost, I apologize if this has already been done!

  • MUTE button and its quick launch icon are reversed

I think I deleted a driver when I was trying to fix a computer freeze. There was a message I deleted it while my computer may not work correctly, but I did anyway... Oops.

So now, when my mute button is disabled on the motherboard, and then the audio in the quick launch shows it is not muted and when the mute button is reactivated, then the icon down below shows that it remains silent. So I guess they are reversed but I virtually impossible to get all the sounds work so that never.

One thing I noticed, is that if I hit the mute button permanently, I can hear bits of sound. It's like I'm sneaking between the functions mute above and below. But of course, I need to function normally if I can watch YouTube with ease, etc..

So what to do? I tried to reinstall a driver from the windows site, but I couldn't really handle this very well. And my driver installation CD does not work because my CD rom is not working well.

    Hello again triceratops108,

    Thanks for the quick response!

Based on the information provided in your post, I recommend to uninstall and reinstall the audio driver of your computer. To do this, please follow this document on How to change or remove a program in Windows XP as well as Conexant CX20468-31 AC97 Audio Driver and Audio Driver EQ re - install on your laptop.

If the problem persists, I recommend reformatting your hard drive and re - install Windows XP or if you choose to do, upgrade to Windows Vista.

    I hope this helps!

  • How to record audio Microphone and PC?

I've been looking for everywhere tutorials on how to do it, but don't can find videos of audition 3.

I want to record my mic and PC audio at the same time (Yes, my PC supports "Stereo Mix").

    Thank you!

Just hearing records everything that is given by your sound card or audio interface so you don't have to sort the parameters he who send the microphone and the audio PC to the record side of your system.

How to do this will depend on exactly what your audio device and how you set the ranges.

Once you have the end of the sound card put in place, the hearing is easy though.  Go to hardware edition/preferences/Audio and, if all is good on your sound card, it must appear as an option in the menu dropdown for entry 'default'.  You can also route the default output however you want to listen to things.

A couple of points... the 'Device class' box allows you to specify the type of driver you are using.  Unless you have a specialist audio interface, it'll probably be Ms. also, the sampling frequency that you define in hearing must match what you set when you were selecting things on your audio card/interface.

I don't want to end on a Downer, but many sound cards these days this force you to save on the thing or the other and cannot make a mixture of sources like XP and earlier versions of Windows used to offer.  Maybe that's why you keep finding tutorials for AA3.0... it was the last version designed around XP and previous versions.   I hope you're one of the lucky ones.

  • Auto no estimates and histograms or small is % no default histograms?

In the past, I used custom written statistics scripts which, by default, collect statistics on large tables with a small percentage estimate and for all COLUMNS of SIZE 1.  They allow the percentage of estimate to be more on individual tables and allow me to choose the individual columns to have histograms with the maximum number of buckets.  The nice thing about this approach is that the statistics ran very efficiently by default and they could dial upward as needed to grant individual queries.

But with 11g, you can set preferences to the level of the table so that the work of automatic statistics or even a manual execution of gather_table_stats will use your settings.  In addition, there are some algorithm of special sampling associated with auto_sample_size that miss you out on if you manually set the percentage of the estimate.  So I could change my approach to query tuning and the collection of statistics to use AUTO_SAMPLE_SIZE and for all COLUMNS size AUTO by default and then replace these if necessary to grant a request or if necessary for statistics to be executed in a reasonable time.

I work in a large enough company with a team of about 10 DBA and a group of developers and over 100 Oracle databases, so we can not really carefully keep track of each system.  Having default values be less intensive resources saves me grief to have stats jobs to run too long, but it requires intervention when a request needs to be tuned.  Also, with my custom scripts I get a lot of hassle for people willing to know why I do not use the default settings of Oracle is negative.  But I saw the default settings, even on the 11.2, running too long on large tables.  Generally, our systems are starting small and then data grows and grows until things start to break auto stats can seem you well at all at first, but eventually they starts to run too long.  Also, when the jobs of his stats run forever or automatic tasks do not end in the window, I get complaints about the stats taking too long or not up-to-date.  Therefore, any sense has its advantages and disadvantages that I can tell.

So, my question, fueled by a day of work post Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, is if anyone else has this same dillema and how you solved.  I appreciate any input on this subject.

    -Bobby

    Hi Bobby,.

    > Also, when statistical work run forever or automatic tasks do not end in the window I get complaints about the stats taking too long or not up-to-date

Complaints about statistics "not up-to-date" are very common, but they do not need to be "up-to-date"... they just need to be... represents a very significant difference

    > I think that this amounts to estimate the percentage and histograms.  If you can't get the percentage and histograms want to finish, you need to dial them back but then stats are not as good.

Know how histograms are brought together under the hood for each column. There are a few nice improvements with AUTO_SAMPLE_SIZE (Blog: How AUTO_SAMPLE...). However if you want to learn more about the improvements of NDV or summaries - please consult the book of Amit Poddar pass a separate sampling.

Personally, I usually start by "FOR ALL COLUMNS SIZE 1" and AUTO_SAMPLE_SIZE (from scratch) and only edit table preferences that must be changed (such as histograms due to the inclination of data, etc..). Other basic stuff works pretty well in most of the cases and so I usually don't need to put a lot of effort into it (you need not to fix something that isn't broken). He published also with aggressive sampling and CBO behavior changes (like fix_control 5483301: power off), but this must be matched to the case by case of course.

  • Satellite C650-197 built into the Microphone and Jacks does not

As the title, I tried to use the microphone that comes built-in on this model (Web camera VGA integrated with built-in microphone) and found his does not work. I tried to plug in an external microphone via the microphone jack and still no registration.
I can't seem to find the drivers for the integrated or plug anywhere.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

    > I can't can't find the drivers for the integrated or plug anywhere.
This drivers don t exist. The sound card driver controls everything.
I think you should first start the webcam software and should test the microphone because the internal MIC is part of the webcam.
Webcam software provides a tab; settings and properties. In one of these tabs, you will find settings for the audio.
Here, you can increase the volume of the microphone and was able to record a small audio session.

In addition I recommend the settings in Control Panel-> sound.
Make sure the microphone volume is set to maximum. Don't forget to check the hidden devices and disabled it there...
