RnrMusicMan: (btw, former musician of Navy for this purpose) I need to send thanks a lot for your answer. I have tried, almost to the point of questioning my sanity, too many times tried too many things and all have failed. Why not go and buy a new printer? Financial considerations. Here's what I've worked with... (finally a good result there, at least the best I know for the moment at the end)

    (1) start here, I have an older HP all C720 printer wireless. I do not think at the moment there is a download of the full version which will allow him to install it in a machine of 8.1. An 8 machine if necessary, but not a 8.1 I do not...? That's what I gathered. Where I made my mistake, so, I was this old horse to battle C7280 installed on my newer HP Pavilion and worked very well with 8.1, (read on before thinking 8.1 work with the C7280) when I say great worked, I mean the Solution Center has worked. Then after a while I improved the Pavilion to 8.1 and everything was fine. A couple of weeks, I had to do a cover of the plant on the HP Pavilion. Instead of installing the software of the printer with the center of solutions right then while he was still an OS 8, I upgraded to 8.1 Loaded my favorite of all the programs and tweaks and tricks. Then I said, I'll install the old workhorse C7280. It would not, not at all, regardless of how many tips I read here, and Googling. Then I tried to install the full version of XP on one of the XP machines. No go. Something I said is prevention. Who could know. I tried to purge the XP what I knew could be related to HP. Shut off all antivirus programs, download fees, etc. etc. ad naseum. I have read and read and tried and failed and failed. You get the drama.

So, I decided that if I could get it on the Acer Aspire one Netbook I could use as a slave, small sorta Acer server. I barely use the netbook anyway. So I couldn't do. Frustration. So I decided JUST ONE MORE ATTEMPT. And here's what I did for Acer.

I did a factory restore. No former antivirus autour. Nothing is added. Presitine and already had Service Pack 3 with the resumption of the plant.  What follows I have none to little idea of his touch, but that's what I did.

    (2) I have an old modem that I had used as a slave of my new modem D-Link. I got it, because many of my devices will not work on the new 'n'.  I think, old modem old printer, old BONES. I have set the printer to get the old o SSID of the slave and agreed which has no password. Fortunately, I know anyone personally that could use this wireless slave and they all have their own.

    (3) so once again, I downloaded the full version of XP on the netbook. Extracted, he ran, and so he went the full installation and works.

That's a lot, but I'm a cheap guy who hates to throw even if old devices, good. I use this Chrome extension called Extension Office remotely in order to get on the netbook from any computer and print using the Solution Center.

I don't know what I did but I know I've worked. So this is my solution. I'm sure some could find another work around, but probably way above my paygrade.

Once again, thanks a lot for taking the time. I think I followed your solution several, much too long and did not work. Unless I was always doing something wrong.  My solution was radical but it works for me always try to use these appliances. I just take good care of them and they last. My most recent is the HP Pavilion and it's going on 2 years now.

Differences or questions please ask. 'Jack :-{D '.

  • HP PSC 2110: need HP solution center software for hp psc 2110 running windows 7 32 bit

    Hello

The HP Solution Center software has disappeared since I move my laptop HP OS from Vista to Windows 7 32 bit.  I use HP Solution Center for the years software to create PDFs of the documents scanned the printer HP PSC 2110 all-in-one.

Can you give us the link to download Win 7 HP Solution Center software? I searched on the HP support site using the name of the HP PSC 2110 product, he pointed me to the section of the driver; I followed the instructions, but there is no link to download the software.

The printer is connected via USB and works fine.  That's all just annoying that I can't use the HP Solution Center software (previously Director of HP) to copy documents scanned to my computer.

    Thank you.

    You are welcome.

You can download it from the following link:

    http://sourceforge.NET/projects/naps2/files/3.0b1/naps2-3.0b1-Setup.exe/download

This means that as an older model, its functionality is limited, but there are a few available workarouds. It is surely worth a try.

For a wireless printer you will need another printer indded, there are many factors to consider and recommend any specific printer, you have specific needs? would be for example you use a fax or not, I guess, it should be a color with a scanner printer... Do you use to print photos or more often good for a daily newspaper, printing and scanning capabilities, these factors may affect strongly any possible recommendation for more information you will find useful.

However, any current HP device with a scanner supports scan PDF scanning in the HP software.

  • Solutions of workaround for missing Officejet 6500 a (E710a-f) features?

I recently bought an Officejet 6500 a (E710a-f) and found out that the driver does not have two important elements, I had supposed wrong would be included, as they have been available on Deskjet printers for many years: print preview and manual duplex printing. Manual States simply to print the odd and even pages separately - has a challenge at best when I'm printing that does not offer as an option and it doesn't seem to be an option to preview before printing at all.

First (manual duplex printing): I've seen ads for the 6500 has more (E710n) which include a manual double-sided printing, so I wonder if the 6500 is able to use this driver if I install it without causing other problems. If not, anyone know of other alternatives for double-sided printing?

Second (print preview): unless my work application has a preview feature before automated printing, other than printing to a pdf (such as CutePDF) creator and the review of the layout in a viewer (like Adobe Reader) PDF, is there a simple way to get a preview of the text before printing?

Finally, I believe there is a good reason why these features - available on Deskjet printers for many years - were left out of the Officejet 6500, but I have not yet found. If someone who understands print drivers can explain it to me, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

( Updated 26/07/11: 1) Re duplex printing: I found a video on the HP support Web site, which offers a solution in two steps for double-sided printing: first, print the odd pages and even pages (a two-step process). It would be great, however, if there is a driver who would do this in one step, as there has been on SEVERAL HP Deskjet of printers in the past. Is there an existing printer driver that makes manual duplex printing it will work with the Officejet 6500 a?

    (2) re print preview: no luck at all with "Print preview." Still, any suggestion would be appreciated. If personal HP monitors this forum, please let me know if it is a futile effort, or is there a solution to this problem. I lose a LOT of paper by not being able to check what the final provision of the documents will look like before you print!

    @ drbb01

I've been looking for a solution for several hours and finally found one!

I have a tutorial that explains how to install an alternate driver that can handle manual duplex printing.

The driver being used is the driver for the Officejet Pro K550 Series printer. But I don't know if you follow each of the steps in the tutorial to make it work. Unfortunately, the tutorial is in German...

If you still need information informed me an I'll try to translate the tutorial in English.

    My regards, Marc

  • Error Code C00D0FAB. Has anyone ever produces a solution that works for this error code?

I tried all of the suggestions by the contributors of this forum (and a big thank you to them all in an attempt to address a problem that bothers the _ out of me), I rebooted Windows Vista 3 times, imported from different codec and packets, tried to re-download WMP and told me I had the latest version (WMP 11) run different programs of Malware in Mode safe run sfc/scannow five times and I'm still not close to correct the problem with my WMP. My computer is a Compaq Presario running the version of Vista Ultimate 32 bit.
A response from anyone who has actually found a working solution would be greatly appreciated.

Well after a long evening of playing with the same problem and looking for any help.  I upgraded my Nvidia Nforce Serial ATA controller and my media player works now.  I also improved other drivers beforehand if it can't just be this one.  It's under the IDE in the hardware section of the control panel.  Good luck to all others so unhappy as to met this seemingly intractable problem.

  • Solved! Driver solution Windows 7 for HP Color LaserJet 3550

I did get the printer HP Color LaserJet 3550n (3550 family) printer to be installed in Win7.  This printer is the only thing that do not start with Win7. In the printers and devices window, I tried troubleshooting, but it was a problem with the DOT4USB drivers. Similarly for the others, I managed with the following solution:

    (1) went to HP and downloaded the Vista 32-bit drivers for the 3550, the unpacking to C:\HP CLJ3550\, as suggested by the driver file.

    (2) devices printers & a

    (3) I chose the first 'device function' so .

    (4) I selected the second and third function (which were and and did the ...) for each.

    (5) I disconnected the USB to the printer, I went back to devices & Printers and selected .

    (6) I chose and installed the printer.

    (7) it wouldn't work unless I "let" Windows makes the default printer

    (8) after that it was over, I did on my favorite printer and selected, and everything worked.

    Thank you
    your advice really helped.

assign a default value for the first floor help really.

Only one extra thing is that on the main pc, you must install the driver for a new printer that should be default and a new share name.

Then on another pc with 64-bit windows find the printer and install the 64-bit driver seperatelly.

in this case, everything is perfect.

  • Why didn't - it not the center of solutions that installs for Windows 8 on a HP Officejet 4500 HP?

I uninstalled and reinstalled the update of the software of HP OJ_AIO_4500_G510n-z_Full_Win_WW_140_408 for Windows 8.  The HP Solution Center will not complete installation.  I went through the installation process 16 times in all conditions.  Same results, Center solutions HP shows and error that installation was not complete.

I bet that the first installation has no uninstall completely clean. There may be something stuck in the registry that prevents the installation ended as it should. Try using the brush included in the CD or download.

    Starting a download:
    1. run the disk cleanup on your computer
    2. download and run the software and the drivers below.
Driver and HP Officejet Full Feature software

    6. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)
    7 open the Util folder
    8 open the CCC folder

  • Cannot install Solutions from HP for Windows 8

    Hi you all,.

Lenovo U310, i5, 4 GB, SSD of 32 GB, 500 GB HD, Windows 8 pro.

This week, I installed Windows 8 to replace Windows 7.

Everything works fine, until I have try to re - install my 2-year-old HP Photosmart B109a.

I tried to download and run the driver:

    PS_AIO_06_B109a - m_NonNet_Full_Win_140_404.exe

But it seems that the installation runs in a loop, because whenever I start it, to halfway execution it charges me to restart my laptop. Over and over again and it never comes to the installation of the software.

I will be able to print a document, even if, to the right of the printerfunction of the document itself and there is a possibility to do a scan, but I really need the HP solutions for quick analysis.

Y at - it someone help me?

    Kind regards

    Jim

Finally, after countless reboots, login / logout of my printer, I discovered that this Photosmart B109a is not compatible with USB 3.0.

So I plugged in with USB 2.0 and it all worked perfect.
Maybe you can do a 'sticky' this conclusion.

    Thanks for the comments!

  • HP Solution Center, drivers for Windows XP for HP OfficeJet 5680 all in one

Recently had a HARD drive crash and had to reinstall Windows XP. My original driver / software CD broke, and now I am unable to use the printer / scanner without drivers. I tried the driver of HP OfficeJet 5600 series, but the Twain driver is broken. Also, I'm used to the HP Image Zone and the center of solutions HP (version 50.0.152.000) that has been previously installed.

Could someone post the link for the drivers / software for that get up and running. Please, please don't say that the name of the product is bad or anything. I can attach a photo if necessary. I am in desperate need of the solution Center, documentviewer, image area!

Please, I've done enough research on the web, but did not find anything. Furthermore, why does HP stop providing software support and drivers for a product that is no longer supported? Are there any people who brought and may need support at a later date? Makes me think twice before I can invest in another HP product. In addition, please do not take this a derogatory comment towards, but in reality, we would expect support from the vendor for the product even after that he pulled out of the shops.

Could you please post or give directions to get the drivers for XP / software for scanning? Thanks for reading a long post, but it was because of my frustration!

Problem solved by installing the OfficeJet 5600 series software. Thank you. Please close this message.

  • Solutions - Adobe Flash for IE req but Google Chrome is the browser

    I have a HP Officejet 6500 wireless all-in-one

My OS is Windows 7. My browser is Google Chrome. I have experienced problems with conflicts for the pdf files print and think I have sorted things (you must have either (but not both) active plugins - adobe OR the Chrome PDF viewer, but not both.) But I lost my HP Solution Center when I go to print anything now! He asks me to install adobe flash for Internet Explorer (which is not my default browser). It is possible that there is a place that I need to change a setting so that the HP printer is not keep looking for WAA flash for IE - thinking that my browser is IE, but I did not understand how and where to change this setting.

To unravel it any help would be most appreciated. I am frustrated, whenever I go to print. The print dialog is not able to find the computer, and when I click on the solution Center, it says I have to install adobe flash for IE. I already have WAA flash (not for IE), and it is enabled. Help!

HP Solution Center is programmed a little funny.  It requires the Flash for IE extension to run.  I don't know why, but it's necessary.  Once you download that, everything should work fine.  Let me know what happens.
