Automatic copy of selected files__

When to say 'images', I highlight (setect) several files so that I can copy/cut them and all of a sudden without any intervention shows windows will make a copy of all selected files. Why? It can be stopped?

This happens usually when you select multiple files, and you accidentally release the key Shift or Ctrl, according to what you want; or a brush accidentally any other key on the keyboard while holding one of these keys. Both cause the same effect - Windows think that you released the multiple selection key and product to start the copy.

I would say that a copy would be the first thing I want to stop doing,

If you want to move a file, then move

Make a right-click dragging you will offer choices.

    Left-click dragging does not.

If you right click and select copy, Stop and use to cut,

Or use Alt + E and move to the folder.

  • Automatically copy the files in the output directory

    Hello

I had two files of fonts (e.g. a.ttf and b.ttf) I want to automatically be copied inside ViewController\classes when I run the application.
I copied them into ViewController\src, but it did not work. What should I do? Is there something to wear?
Currently, I make the copy manually every time I have ordered a new copy of the project.

In any case, I use JDev 11.1.1.4.0

    Thank you
    Will do

Your can check this if you add the file suffix ".ttf" for the types of files that are automatically copied to the output directory.
To do this, open the project properties and select the node "Compilation".
Here, you add ".ttf" to filter "Types of files to copy to output directory" and all files with the suffix '.ttf' are automatically copied to the output directory.

I cannont turn on automatic updating.  I have is gray.  Disable the automatic update is selected but also gray and selected.

    you have the service disabled?

Click Start > run > type in services.msc box and Microsoft Management Console will be open.

Search for automatic updates. Right-click the line, and then click Properties. In the dialog that opens, make sure Startup Type is automatic. Click on apply. Wait for it. Then click Start under Service status. You will see another pop-up window but it is a progress bar. If the service does not start, you will get an error. Otherwise, you will see wuauserv in the Task Manager. You should also see the yellow shield which shows you download updates. Also check your Windows Firewall and third-party firewall installed on the machine. Another place is the router/modem. You may need your ISP to help with the party.

  • How to copy a selection without moving the entire image?

Once I selected a part of an image, I try to use the move (with the ALT key) tool to copy the selection into another image.  But the movements of the whole picture and not only the selection.  What I am doing wrong?

In fact, I found this one - move the selection into a new layer, then copy.

  • When I make a selection using the lasso and try to copy the selection, nothing is copied.  Why?

I have PhotoShop CS6 for Mac, version 13.0.6.  When I make a selection using the lasso (or any other selection tool) and select 'Copy' and try to move the selection copied, nothing is copied.  What is going on?  I can't find an answer in my search for Abobe PS or the Web site, in general.

If you still use the selection tools when you try to move the contents of a selection, it will simply move the selection. If you want to move the content, use the tool move (but be aware that the default action is to cut; use Opt (Alt on Windows) to copy the selection by dragging).

  • Problem to copy a selection after Photoshop light effect

After application of the Photoshop filter lighting effect it was not possible to use the "Select all" command or copy a selection. After resetting the preferences and disabling of all external plug-ins it has not solved the problem. After saving the image and Photoshop is restarted, the commands are working properly again. I use Photoshop CC 2015 on a Mac (Yosemity 10.10.5)

Problem is solved after the most recent installation updates Photoshop 2015CC

  • copy of selective format

A specific task reminds me of a question I'm often asked all but never asked... copy all styles of paragraphs from file A to file B is simple, but is there no native mechanism to copy only selected styles? I know that I can copy a paragraph formatted, and then update the catalogue of paragraph in file B, but sometimes it's a bit tedious.

    If there is an answer, I hope that it involves not a plug-in; I'm not allowed those :-{

    Niels,

You can use either the copy special (character Format or paragraph) to get unique copies. For more than one style at a time, simply use the Remove option in the catalogs to clarify the list of what you want and then import using the file > import > Formats road. FM will only import the catalog items, so the 'deleted' (always applied in the source document) will stay behind.

If you do not "Save" the document source, just to close, then the original formats remain behind.

Two-step, a safer approach is to create a really 'white' FM file by deleting everything in all the catalogs and reference pages. Then save it in the folder Templates of FM. So whenever you must create/grouping of new formats, create a new file by using the blank template, and then import the formats of many sources as you need in this one to accumulate the desired styles

Have you tried layer for copy or Edit > paste special > paste in Place or edit > paste special > paste into it or just edit > paste?

  • ID should automatically copy a file in the folder of links

I had this idea that there should be a feature in InDesign that automatically copies the file in a folder.

Sometimes it's really frustrating to get the file and manually copy to the folder of your project links. It would be so easy if you would have only to search for the file when investment he and the ID would automatically copy the file to your folder of links projects. Of course it insists that there is any function to define a project and a folder for it, possibly a name. I think that this would save a ton of time when you have to do a book or some other large publication. I don't know if there is this kind of feature somewhere or the ID 5. It would be a good feature or not?

In recent versions, it is there already. See wheel of the links Panel menu.

You can also package it a file to make a copy and collect all the necessary links in one place.

  • Acrobat 9 Pro: cannot copy the selected text unless I have a highlighting of the text

I highlighted the text in a document. When I go to copy this text, it selects the whole sentence. I right click, the menu starts with "set status. There is no option "copy". No control-C is successful. When I paste then, he pastes a previously selected text, not the text I'm trying to copy in Acrobat. The only way I found to copy the selected text to the United Nations is a development and then copy it. Are there other solutions?

    Thank you!

Play with the Shift key... you will get it.

  • AppleScript to automatically copy a video in one of the two folders

Hi, on my drive hard, I have 2 partitions, one for my 10.10.2 OS and the other for my files. On my player I have 2 folders which I want to copy the video on: 'Movies' and 'Kids Movies. I put a "folder Action" on mounting my USB key to run this applescript I below. It automatically copies the video in my "Movies" folder, then after completing the copy, ask if I want to "Eject" usb drive via a dialog Yes or no.

My question is, what is the script to add an another dialog box before the copy request is a film 'children '. A "Yes" response, the film would copy into folder 'Film Kids', if you press 'No' it might copy the video in the folder 'movies '. Help with this script would be greatly appreciated.

    My applescript so far:

    property ignoredVolumes: {'10,10 30 1. 5 't', '1. Add 5 t files"} - if necessary

    property videoExtensions: {"avi", "mov", "mpg", "wmv", "mp4" and "mkv"}

the value moviemacVolume to the alias (POSIX file "files/Volumes/1. ("5T / movies")

                               tell application "System events".

the value rootVolumes to disk (POSIX file ' / Volumes ' in the text)

the value allVolumes to name of every element of disc of rootVolumes

the value numofallVolumes to the County of allVolumes

Repeat with the present book in allVolumes

    say application 'Finder '.

if (the present book is not in ignoredVolumes and (this book as text) is not '. ') DS_Store') then

    Try

if there are alias (POSIX (' / Volumes / "& the present book) as text file ) then game trk to 1

    on error

    game trk to 0

    end try

    If trk = 1 then

duplicate (elements whose name is in the videoExtensions extension) in alias (POSIX file (' / Volumes / "and the present book) as text) to moviemacVolume

    say application 'Finder '.

display the dialog box "Would you like to eject the USB drive?" button by default buttons {"Yes", "no"} 1 with the title "Eject?" give up after 60

If the button returned of the result is 'yes' then ejection of the this book

    end say

    end if

    end if

    end say

    end Repeat

                   end say

Replace the current command in double with:

display the dialog box "is a child movie?" buttons default button {'Yes', ' no'} 1

Duplicate (items which extension is in the videoExtensions) in alias (POSIX file (' / Volumes / "& the present book) as text) to alias (POSIX file" / Volumes/files 1.5T/movies/kid's movies / ')

  • Automatic copy of the documents stored in iCloud Mac HD?

Is it possible to save automatically documents etc. that I record on iCloud? Although I love synchronization between devices, I don't have a faith in Apple to have my only copy of an important document living remotely and independent of my will on the iCloud.  I'd be happier with a local copy as I guarantee you access to.  Y at - it a soft which should save a copy on hard drive on my Mac when I save on iCloud?

If you use iCloud Drive on your Mac, you already have a copy of each document. They are simply hidden from your part.

  • How can I stop automatic copy of the photo I deleted

After deleting my files pictures photos, they seem to auto replicate themselves. How to sustain losses and prevents them from reproducing auto. I have windows XP with SP2.  Geoff cordially

Unwanted copies have file names with
    copy "prefix of"?

    Example: Copy of IMG_1455.JPG

If_yes_maybe the following tutorial, I wrote
for XP offers a few ideas:

Here's how to reproduce the unwanted
    copy of...

Hold down your CTRL key and select multiple files...

Place your pointer over the selected group
(holding the key ctrl) and left click / drag
the group even just the slightest bit... now
    release the mouse button.

    Ooops! More copies...

    Maybe the following will help:

Sometimes most of the person who
trying to select multiple by holding the CTRL
or the SHIFT key down while clicking on the left to select the
    image files.

Copies are created when you are unable to
completely release the mouse button before
you move the pointer to another file. When a group
the selected file is dragged... even the slightest
release the mouse button will produce a bit...
copies of all the files previously highlighted.

It's a little easier if you have your folder
Options set at single click... that way you can
select/deselect a file with just a mouse more
and you don't have to click. For multiples you
I have to keep... CTRL or Shift.

Do not click on... no slip... no copy... maybe that of
your solution. To adjust the click...
Open a folder and go... Tools / folder
Options / General tab... Check... 'single click '.
To open an item"/ apply / OK.

If you want to delete all the files in a folder
    You can try the following:

Reach... Edition / select all... or type... CTRL / has...

With all of the files selected... go... Drop / delete...
or press your delete key... or... click on the
    Group and choose 'delete '.

How do I find and remove unwanted 'copies '.
    of your image files.

Open the folder that the images are saved in and
on the left, click on the button 'Search' in your toolbar.

(If you view the files from a montage
program and do not know where the record is... right
Click on one of the image files and the menu...
choose... Properties. The path to the folder will be
in the tab 'General' to 'Place').

In the research pane select... "All files and folders".

In the "All or part of the file name" field. Come in...

    a copy of

Now... on the left, click on the search"" button.

When the search is complete... go to... Edition / select all...

Then go to... Remove / delete.

You will see a dialog box asking if you are sure
you want to delete the files, click Yes.

Now... on the left, click on the 'Back' button in your toolbar.

Now the remaining files should be your originals.

If you delete the wrong files... recover from
    your basket now.
