I have an iPad 2.  After installing iOS 9.3 (EEEK!), I had a few difficulties.  This issue, it's that the automatic locking does not work.  I put it on several occasions, but when I waited long enough for the iPad lock, even during the night, the cursor of password is not displayed.  Instant access to all the functions of the iPad without having to use my password to unlock the device.  Any help?

How to disable the automatic locking of the screen of the computer with windows XP? so many people responded on windows 7, but NOT a SINGLE spoke of XP.  I have this problem.  screen goes into sleep mode and I have to wake up even if NO PASSWORD is selected.  I changed the POWER SETTINGS. Nothing helps.  NEED HELP. Thank you

Well since it is already assigned, and a mod has not moved this somehow already in the XP section:

On your desktop, right-click right properties, under the screen saver are of course "on Resume, display logon screen" is NOT checked. You can also disable screen saver.

  • Vista Windows automatically locks

    Hello!

A few days ago I left my laptop compaq so that Windows Vista Home Basic is open and maybe my baby cousins, touched, after returning a few minutes later, I found that Windows vista has been unable to work properly. Every time when I started the computer, after entering my password and log, Windows vista automatically locks the computer just in few seconds and asks me to connect it again. I type my password again, and then it opens and even once will lock automatically and asks me to log in again and again...

I can't really understand what to do with it... I don't want to reinstall Windows vista, so it might be impossible for me... what I need to do? Hope to receive useful information for it...

BTW, I did check the hard disk with BIOS, and it showed no errors on.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

    You can try this:

do a safe mode system restore to before this happened

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode option with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
    6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

The computer locks after inactivity of approximately one minute in windows 8... I must return my password. I tried everything, power options, customization, and it's still not remove. All the functions that relate to disable automatic locking are too broad. Help please!

Found a solution, under user accounts, click Reset security policies seems to have solved the problem. In addition, it sets the problem of not being able to change the screen saver timeout. I wasn't able to track down the specific policy caused the problem in the first place, but it works for now.

  • Windows Vista automatically locks the computer.

I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 with Windows Vista business with service pack 2 installed and kept up-to-date. I noticed that, after a few minutes of inactivity on my computer, Windows locks automatically the computer. By that I mean it will act as if I had pressed the "lock" button and return to the sign in the display. I am running Norton 360 antivirus program and have in the past to run Mcafee. Does anyone know why the event occurred, or particularly how to solve this problem, because it has become more than a nuisance.
    Thank you.

  • Automatic locking of blackBerry Smartphones & hide the clock in night mode

I just updated my Blackberry 9700 to firmware 5.0.0.59 3. I noticed that the AutoStandby 2.4.1 utility that locks the keyboard 30 seconds no longer works. An automatic keyboard lock is a very basic feature for each phone, and it would be good if it can be reinstated in a future firmware version. I use now ultimate lock, but this can only be enabled by the lock top-left button.

I'm also a fan of the bedside mode because it prevents that the LED flashes at night and automatically profiles, when you put it in the module loading. Is there a way to stop the clock display while the phone is charging in bedside mode? I have already defined "Screen dark" to Yes but he always lit the room.

Thanks, but this just disables the bedside mode and the LED continues to blink when email arrives during the night. I set now the option "Screen dark" no, this prevents the clock of your stay in bedside mode. I re-enabled auto keypad lock (without password) using the AddOnIs app.

  • Phone will not longer automatic locking, no matter what time, I put

My phone is no longer auto-lock.

I set to auto power off after 30 seconds, but it will not lock.  He never asks a password or my thumb print more.  I can use my left index finger, for example, to wake and slide to unlock.  Don't never request for password or anything like that.

    Any ideas?

    Try these standard troubleshooting steps.

Reset: hold the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo (10 to 20 seconds).

If this does not help, you may need to restore your iPhone.
