  Right-click on the printer icon and click Properties. Click the device settings tab and search module duplex, or a printing accessory 2 faces and set it to "Installed" and apply the settings. Then you should get the automatic option.

  I recently updated my laptop, one with one with Windows 7 64 - bit Vista and the printer I have is the C7280 all-in-One.

  After installing the driver recommended on the site of HP (PS_AIO_02_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe) because of the CD supplied with the printer being impossible to install on Windows 7.   Problem is solved.  It was that, when I went to properties and clicked on 'two-sided (Duplex) printing, it would automatically print double-sided.  Now, when I go into properties, I also chose "Automatically" under "print on both sides.  It still works, but they added a step more in the process.

  Use http://www.iobit.com/en/advanceduninstaller.php .  Use a powerful scanner at the end and remove all registry entries.

  Now reinstall your new printer.

  I understand that you have lost the ability to automatically duplex printing with the Officejet 4630. Can you go to control panel > printers and devices and right click on the printer. Click Printing Preferences, and see if you can set the duplex option from there.

  Definition of duplex here will be a default for all programs. Let me know if you have that option here.

  First of all, even if works well, Acrobat 9 is not officially compatible with Windows 10, so some problems are to be expected.
