Automatic separation of scan several photos

I really feel like I saw that it was a device added earlier.  I thought there was a way when you scan several photos at once, it was a way to automatically separate them into individual JPG.  Is this true?  If Yes, where is the option?

File > automate > Crop and désincliner the Photos did a good job, but only if the digital pieces do not touch or if the images are not very close. and if these things like a sky that is bald, it is difficult to determine where the image ends. Furthermore, this function creates separate files and the composite intact.

I have a hp deskjet 3052 has windows vista.   My old printer was able to scan several photos at once and save the pictures to separate files.  It does not seem to do that.  I intend on scanning multiple photos and plan on using this printer and get something else, if it is not possible to the software to make or load.  Anyone know where I can find a list of printers that will do this?

After 4 years, I was sent the software. It seems to work fine if I put the pictures away from the edge of the scanner.  My scanner still works, so I'll use this program. I'm very happy with it.

  • I'm scanning several photos and I would like the name of the file to automatically change with every save?

Whenever I scan a picture I have to change the file name of myself, which is very tedious and time consuming. I'm scanning of thousands of old family photos, and I was wondering if there was a setting that I could use that would automatically change the name of the file without having to type it myself, me as image1, image2, image3, image4 and so on.

It's a HP scanner and the computer I use is a Dell with Windows 7.

Unless the scanning software you use supports this feature, nothing you can do or change in Windows will do.

  • Scanning multiple photos

Hello, I'm scanning several photos and they are saved as a single page.  My old hp split in separate files as long as they were not paid.  I can't understand how to do this with this new all in one photosmart hp 6515.  I have the vista operating system.  I just support hp cat and he said to uninstall and reinstall the printer.   Someone, help me.

    Thank you, Shirley

    Hi grammy2012,

Printers with lower and 14 driver versions have this feature.  With 20 versions or older printers are not pilots. If you have a new model, no doubt he has the version of the driver above 20 and the function is simply not in the software.

This means the automatic cropping several photos.

With 20 and older driver versions, it is possible to do this, but not automatically.

    1. place your multiple photos on the glass.

    2. scan in JPG

    3. Select the harvest in one of the photos.

    4. click on to add a page.

5 harvest in the second photo.

    6. If you have more than two photos on the glass, perform steps 3 and 4 until all the photos are on a 'page '.

    7. click on save button and assign a name, the photos will be all saved in separate files.

  • HP Officejet 8610: Scanning multiple photos at once

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8610 and I cannot figure out how to scan several photos at once...   My old HP I could ask 8 photos on the glass and scan and then I could select each photo and all have once the file scan, the 8610 makes me scan, then select another picture and it takes forever.

I'm doing something wrong? I missed to HO in the manual somehwere? Or is the prehistoric 8610 as compared to the old all-in-one?

Hi, change the Scan Source flat glass (if installed) automatic charger, then the auto-cropping feature will become available for selection. Best regards, Shlomi

  • Can not scan several pages of Dell 964 Photo Scanner

I have just upgraded to a new computer (Dell Precision 6300) using Vista and I am trying to scan several pages of my old Photo Dell 964 printer, which has a built-in scanner. My printer search the list of applications of scanning of my computer and do not find anything. I can't use Windows Fax and Scanner program to scan several pages - only one page by scanning. I tried to save as a TIFF file as well.

Go to the link above and get the latest printer drivers for your current operating system.

If no driver available, contact Dell on the problem.

  • Scans of several photos

I have a relatively simple need: a software that will support scanning multiple photos at the same time on a dish, and then allow for each photo to be 'cut', as it was, to use separately, for example, creating a family memory book. Trying to avoid having to analyze a single photo at a time. Ideas?

John mark please the question as answered. The idea here is that people ask questions and when answered mark them so that others in the future can do a search on a topic and get a quick result. Otherwise contributors like me end up answering the same question over and over again.

  • Apple Photos fails during the download of several Photos or videos

This question refers to my iMac (27 ", mid-2011) running OS X 10.11 (El Capitan), 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5, 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3, AMD Radeon HD 6770 M 512 MBand and a 1 TB hard drive.

I noticed a problem recently, when I'm uploading of photos and videos of our iPhone devices 6.  I do not experience this problem if I download pictures and videos one at a time.  This problem occurs if I try to download several pictures / videos (or all of them) both (that is, him "import all" option), causing the upload process to fail. Photos gives me an error message indicating that the app does not recognize the format of the picture/video and it didn't PTPcamera. After that I see this error message, the "Import" tab in the Photos is gone even after that I have close and restart the application.  I even tried to restart PTPcamera nothing works.

The problem seems to occur more often with downloading several videos with uploading several photos.

When this error occurs, the only way I can restart the import process is to restart the iMac, after which the tab 'Import' reappears magically in the Photos and the upload feature working correctly again (for as much as I want it to download a photograph at a time).

Anyone know what is happening and what I can do to fix this error?  Download photos and videos one at a time is feasible but a real pain in the brain.  I know that the machine is long in the tooth, but because buying a new iMac is in the distant future (unless I win the lottery), I would like to know the root where I have encounter this problem once again the cause of this error.

Just in case the problem is with the phone, no pictures, try a simple Reset: hold down the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo (10 to 20 seconds).

Rather than manually import your files, try to use the built-in automatic synchronization functions. In both Photos and iPhone, Flash My Photo Stream. All new files should then be transferred to your computer by Wi - Fi, without your help. Let your phone charging overnight.
