I get no error and when I click on "check for updates" it starts to check, but finally said «no important update available» Is it because there is no updates since July 15th or is there something wrong with my system to check updates? • Thunderbird 38.2.0 does not automatically check messages

  After the upgrade to Version 38.2.0, Thunderbird checks is no longer automatically messages even if it is set to do so every 10 minutes and the fact that very well since "forever".   There are actually two options in creating media tool:

  • Update this PC now: Automatic Download, Installation.You don't need to do anything. You try this option.
  • Create an installation media for PC:Download an Installation file. When downloaded and opened, you find a setup.exe to run the Inplace upgrade. Make sure you only download the installation media according to your system.

  Today & yesterday I tried to run Windows Update on my 2 computers Win7 (64 bit), a desktop computer (as a HTPC) one and the other a laptop ASUS.

  Other software (Adobe, Skype, etc.) on these 2 p. Update OK.

  These 2 PC updated successfully at the beginning of the month, 7 & 8 April 2016.
  For operational reasons, both of these pieces are set to be updated MANUALLY (not automatically).

  The laptop is used rarely.

  My main pc (Pro Win10, i7, 64-bit Office) is updating OK. Update runs automatically.
  In other words, my internet connection is fine.

  I tried MS Fixit (two options) but NOT the aggressive option.
  I also run the Update Agent - the file wuaeng.dll version 7.6.7601.19161 poster.

  I have not yet run the system update readiness tool, but may do so after I have let the laptop mode 'Check updates' for a few hours.

  Show this message where? Put you up to date on WiFi? If you are, try to update with iTunes. If you don't have a computer and are based on the WiFi only, try this.

  Settings > airplane Mode > on. Who will sign you out of WiFi. Now, do a forced restart. No data is lost during this procedure. Hold on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

  Return to settings > airplane Mode > Off. That will reconnect to the WiFi. Try to update again.

  If this does not help, pwer cycle of your router. Unplug it from power for 30 seconds, plug back in and then try to update again.
