  I am new to VMware and learning ESXi 5.0. I built my 5.0 ESXi host and then downloaded the 5.5 vSphere client. Given that I have only one host; client vSphere 5.5 can handle that.   Whenever I open a file, an action could takes place and download the file - this is not always wanted! In addition, whenever I save a file, it downloads, it is certainly not wanted.

  Hi Bill,

  This could be a problem with the Moble jQuery AJAX navigation. By default, jQuery Mobile supported pages via AJAX for page transitions smooth. This means that instead of doing a load full page to the next page, jQuery Mobile load this page into the DOM of the current page, and then replaces the content via JavaSript.

  As APEX 4.2 uses jQuery Mobile for mobile models, the same is true pages APEX that you access from a mobile page, and links to other content, for example your file download. One way around this would be set you links in the form: "javascript:location.href = ([your link]);" instead of just a simple link. Depending on your specific application, there are also other jQuery Mobile settings that would have objectives link not be loaded via AJAX. Take a look at rel = 'external' and data-ajax = 'false' in the jQuery documentation Mobile and see what might apply to your scenario:

  I use a stored procedure to write an xml file in a directory with an alias "DIR_EXCEL_EXPORT". (This directory is created in the database to reference the folder on the db server. The folder is/tmp).
  
  Can you please give me an example how to download the file created automatically once the file is created or at least how to open it manually using a button in the apex?

But now in the last version of firefox, its get rejected for 10Mo chuncks with every call, but allowing only 4 KB be sent for each call. You guys could help me.
