• HP Envy M6 - Win 8.1 - Audio problem

  Hello I have a laptop HP Envy M6 with 8 64-bit Windows, reccently I've updated to Windows 8.1 as it would make no sense. However, after the update has been completed and the system restarted, I noticed that no audio not playing. Also the volume keys no longer function and under the spell of settings, the volume has now said disabled, unable to be clicked. Or the speakers or headphones more playing audio. Opeining the sound panel shows that 'no audio devices are installed"as shown here:

  

  After reading the other messages of the forum on the subject, I tried update driver software and well that there was no new software to install because 'a device attached to the system does not work:

  After that I tried to uninstall reinstall but that also doesn't solve the problem. If anyone has the same problem or can help in any way, it would be appreciated.

  I would really appreciate some help here. Recently, I did a factory rest on my laptop dv7 HP Envy but can't reinstall Windows 10.

  Before doing this, I was told that I need updates of Windows 8 to 8.1, and then to Windows 10.

  However, I am unable to Al of Windows 8 to 8.1 Windows I'm not all the drivers installed.

  For some reason, I am unable to install the driver of HP wireless button. Whenever I try to download through Windows Update in Control Panel, it downloads and after installation displays an error code 80070436.

  I am unable to get this driver installed and therefore cannot be updated to Windows 8.1. I tried to update to 8.1 without the driver, but my laptop is restarted it got stuck at 82%.

  I would be grateful if someone could give me some advice or help get this sort I seem to keep hitting a brick wall.

  You are the very welcome.

  You will be able to install W10 directly without the need to spend any other OS.

  I did it several times already, so I know it works.

  Twice on nine discs in a solid state on laptops that had previously been W10 on the old mechanical hard disks.

  I bought my HP Envy 6z-1000 in October 2012. Since almost two years, I managed to avoid a fall or scratch, and performed reasonably well - apart from overheating, the weird sticky key and this strange feature that whenever I stop, it seems to insist the program is on and I have to force to close...

  In any case, I just opened the lid of the laptop and heard a disturbing cracking-click sound. Somehow the lower right corner of the bezel take the case and screen together, right side of the hinge, jumped out. I can pop back together again between my fingers, but there not together, jumping out again whenever I open and close the lid.

  How this issue contain them? What should I do?

  Intel i7-4700mq (2.4 to 3.4)

  screen 17.3 "to 1080 p

  a bluray (hp DVD RAM UJ8C2)

  the video card is provided by the chip (intel HD 4600) despite saying nvidia gforce in an external thumbnail

  no movement of jump and no screen smarttouch

  I get always the message asking me to get a powerful adapter plus and despite summer again, the battery life claims to be 195 days

  so I think that the seller could have confused the game of battery/adapter that ought to go with my laptop with a lower card value or used an old... I do not know.. can you confirm or deny this theory?

  the publication has mentioned a battery 9 cells and a charger 90w, and this one is clearly a 65w one, I was thining... I'm still waiting the answer of sellers, but I thought I'd get a second point of view here...

  also the battery status screenshot there is only 4-cell, which is in power anywhere, is this ok?

  The computer is not compatible with the 9-cell battery. Maintenance and service guide provides this information. The guide will also tell you the part number for the adapter, you should have, but also the other part applications.

  The number of days of battery is essentially how many days the battery has been used for over a total cycle of 'true '.

• HP ENVY Notebook PC m6: biometric device problem

  After I've updated for Windows 10, if I leave my active biometric device, my mouse pointer/cursor continuous flickering as if to show the system is busy.

  I'm on the latest version of the driver for my hardware. Now, I am unable to use my fingerprint as my password.

  The only way I knew to prevent this was to turn off my biometric from the Device Manager.

  So I'm more able to make use of my material, even if its there on my laptop.

  Please help me.

  HP Simple pass seems to work, but the problem is that whenever the biometrics is selected, the mouse pointer continues to flicker.

I looked in your question about your m6 HP ENVY Notebook and questions with the Simplepass works not properly. I suggest you uninstall fingerprint driver or reinstall the version updated driver and HP SimplePass ultimate installed and reinstalled the latest version for Windows. Here is a download for the reader of fingerprints for Windows 10. This download sp71729.exe should work for you.

  HP offers specific to your computer model RAM HP laptop knows to operate safely. If you have any questions on the use of 3rd party RAM, you must contact the RAM manufacturers to ensure that you don't damage any components. I don't know that Kingston has lots of information about the subject.

  I recently had the laptop HP Envy 15 TS, and I've just developed a problem connecting to my home wifi network. I was able to connect without major problems since the end of last week, with the exception of a few intemittent of cutting off the connection, which could be repaired by resetting the modem. However, two days ago, the Web browser (chrome) connected and came with a notice saying "unable to access the network. This problem is only with the HP laptop, because I am currently on a dell computer and it works well.

  I've read through the forums and you have downloaded the driver for the network and for the BIOS updates.

  It is still under warranty so I can send it back for repairs, but if anyone knows of a simple solution I can perform at home would be great, I need to work on it.

  Also have you tried to connect to the internet through an ethernet cable... Connect ethernet and check if it makes a difference...

  I see that your sound does not work on your laptop HP m6 1105dx WANT.  Here is a link to help fix the increase or the Volume down distorts the Audio. After your finished the sound of troubleshooting, restart the laptop.

  Hi guys. I had this printer 4 months ago and it worked as wonderful. But this weekend when I turned it on the error "There is a problem with this printer" appeared right after it connected to my wireless network.

  I did several tests and the error comes only if the network is connected to the internet.

  When it is not connected to the internet fine print (prints, scans, all via wifi) jobs.

  I have a MAC and airport Time Capsule.

  Is there a set any that solved the problem?

  Now it's working. The problem was Auto IP. Set it to manual and it started working.

  I understand that when to play your screen will become suddenly blue and your computer restarts.   Continually, you get a message that the display driver stopped responding and was recovered.

  Did you run HP Support Assistant to facilitate updates of HP?

  You did all your Windows updates?

  Here is a link to Open the Windows Update troubleshooting tool that can help to find additional drivers.   Although it lists Windows 7 it does not work in Windows 10.

  Once launched, it should show a screen like this.

  

  Use the second "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" option, this should lead to an update of strength of the 'Windows updates' which cannot be automatically applied c ELA could fix some of these issues.

  Have you ran the Windows troubleshooting tool?
